Great selection or aquatic life including corals. Everything is clean, and the fish are healthy. The shrimp were on the small side.

THE ONLY STORE I BUY ANY FISH FROM! I started my first aquarium a few years ago, and quickly…read morestarted learning how much there is to fish keeping more than just throwing some food in the tank. First I learned through trail and error, but quickly I realized that won't suffice, so I started really studying up on it and learned a whole lot about it. So when I finally figured out how to correctly set up the aquarium, and water. To give the fish a chance to survive and thrive. But that's when I also realized something else, that now, after more than a year of tinkering, and learning about fish keeping, that now that I knew more, I realized I'd have to be crazy to buy any fish from any of my local chain stores, like Petland Discounts, Petco, Pet smart. Etc. Cause if you look closely at those fish, you can clearly see all kinds of signs of diseases and illnesses. I guess the only way they sell any, is to people that really don't know how to tell if a fish looks healthy or not. So basically for the last 3 or 4 years now I've been buying every single of my fish from Temco here. Of course there is the occasional dead fish that didn't take to my tank well. But at least for the most part if I treat them right, they live and prosper. I wouldn't let you put a fish from any of those stores in my aquarium, if you gave it to me for free, and even if it looked perfectly healthy. Because I've seen the tanks they're coming out of. I'll attach a photo of my goldfish aquarium. I have now a beautiful exotic collection of different types and colors of goldfish. All healthy and beautiful, and diseases and parasites free. So yea, maybe I pay a little(!) More power fish than the chain stores, but it's well worth the headaches and stress it saves me. (And it's not really that much more expensive)

I came to Petco recently in search of some feline greenies of the dental variety…read more While I was able to find them there was a limited selection on the shelf and I ended up purchasing the size and type that was left. I was able to make my purchase fairly quickly. I will also say they Petco does have a wide array of pet treats and toys for animals beyond just cats and dogs that say a super market may not have.

1 Star - Absolutely unacceptable treatment from groomer and manager…read more I originally booked with a groomer named Tristian and had the best grooming experience I've ever had. He was professional, attentive, and handled my dog with care. Naturally, I rebooked--only to find out he was no longer available, and my appointment was reassigned to someone named Angela. From the start, this appointment was a nightmare. I gave clear instructions: * Don't dry my dog - he's fearful of loud noises * Don't trim his nails - we do that at the vet * I booked the first morning slot to minimize his stress and pick him up quickly I returned nearly 3 hours later to find my dog still locked in a kennel soaking wet, while Angela was grooming another dog. She ignored me at the counter. When I knocked on the glass, she came out visibly annoyed, told me my dog was "in the dryer," and walked away. Minutes later, I received a generic "your pet is ready" text, and the store manager appeared. Angela walked right past me without a word. When I voiced my concerns, the manager claimed Angela "felt threatened" by me and defended her behavior. No apology. No accountability. To top it off, my dog was handed to me still wet, confirming she had blatantly lied about drying him. I requested and received a refund, then filed a complaint with corporate. Shortly after, I discovered my grooming account was disabled, which feels retaliatory. This was by far the worst grooming experience I've ever had, made worse by the store manager enabling it. Neglecting basic instructions, being dismissive, and retaliating against valid complaints is completely unacceptable. Currently on my second complaint with Petco from this same experience and disabling of my account to book further appts.
