I went to get a full set done and I wanted a certain color and shape and was told it would be $75. But the sign said $55+ so I asked for square. Then I was told it would be $65. When I told her if I could have my nails cut down shorter she then said $60. But I got confused just for a bit and nicely asked " why does the price keep changing"? At first I didn't understand the it would be $5 less instead of $5 more. That's all, I just got it wrong and was always saying "oh ok, I'm sorry, I get it". But this nail tech kept saying over and over again very rudely! She was not nice at all and rude. I told her to take off the tips and got up and two other ladies came over and said she was mean to the mother as well! The nail tech said I was rude when I was not! I'm never rude! Today I took Allie to get nails done for the Marshall University game tomorrow night where Allie will be getting to see the majorettes and Colorguard!! Allie is super excited about this!! Well I took her to the mall in Barboursville WV to a place we have went several times, they have always were accommodating to her and her needs well the lady in there this time was so rude to Allie and I. She actually come out towards to me aggressively when I told her that she she was being rude towards my daughter and I. They normally will come to her chair and place a towel in her lap and just do the nail service there. It's hard to get her chair near the booth and it hurts Allie's back to lean up for long period of times also. The nail tech absolutely refused to accommodate her. She said no she would do that even thou they have numerous times. I have always been the person that just left and not said much but I am sick and tired of persons with disabilities being treated wrong. Everyone should be treated the same!! I left there so upset to the point of shaking and almost crying (if I get to that point it ain't good) and a lady come up to me that had been in that salon and said they was so rude to Allie and I and she is not going back to that place. I will be contacting the owner of the business, also contacting the better business bureau and the business at the mall to see what can be done. I think it's time for people to make a stand and stop letting people run over persons with disabilities. Everyone deserves to have the same opportunities in life!! read more

Today a very nice lady and her disabled/wheelchair bound daughter came in for nails and the nail tech was so utterly rude to them, it was embarrassing. She refused to make any accommodations for the girl, said she would have to sit at her station, which her wheelchair can't go. The mother was so upset and I feel so bad for them both. There is no reason that disabled people should feel less than human. I will tell all my friends and family about this and will not be coming to this establishment again. It was a terrible experience for that poor mother and her sweet daughter. The mother said they have had thier nails done there before and were never treated rudely, this is not acceptable. read more

My cousin has a traumatic brain injury, is wheelchair bound and has been getting her nails done at Exotic Nails for quite some time. Today she wanted to go get her nails done, and her mom took her. The manager was very rude and flatly refused to accommodate their handicapped client. She was heartbroken and totally devastated. After her mom tried unsuccessfully to change the manager's mind, they went further down the mall and finally found a salon that did accommodate her and made her nails absolutely beautiful. This wonderful young lady was able to get her nails, and we really appreciate the awesome staff at Elegant Nails Spa accommodating her. However, the distress she suffered at the hands of the extremely rude staff at Exotic Nails is nothing short of unforgivable! read more

The worst possible experience that can be had. My wife has used them for the last year. Every experience getting worse. Dropping 75.00 a pop on diner and toe nails, that don't make it 24 hrs before coming off. Terrible workmanship. On this last visit, she calls the shop after her nails started falling off after less than 24 hrs. She was told to. Come back and the would fix for free. So she goes back to them, explains who she talked to. The gentlemen says ok.... takes her back fixed them. Get her to the front register the tells her that will be 35. My wife then tries to explain and he tells her" too late you have already rang it up. You have to pay". She just spent 265.00 in there less than 48 hrs. And now they demand to pay up. She told them that she was going to leave bad reviews on social media, and call the BBB. The response from the guy and the owner was ... " go ahead. We don't care". Never again will this happen again. I just want to warn anyone from spending their hard earned money at a place they don't care about the customs whatsoever. read more

This was the 2nd time I've had a pedicure there. Last year when I went, they did a great job. This time the man who did my nails was overly rough and cut very deep into my cuticle, causing bleeding. I've had small nicks before, but not like this. My toe is throbbing and now red and swollen. I'm terrified of getting an infection, I've been soaking it in alcohol. I had no idea how bad the polish job was until I got home and took a photo with flash of my wound. I could have done a better job with my left hand in the dark, there are little streaks of polish all over my toes. I would not recommend them to anyone. It was $56 (before tip) for 2 basic pedicures, my husband obviously didn't get his toes painted. read more

If I could give it 0 I would. While the nail design was good I ended up getting a nail infection of some kind from there which I have never had happen to me before anywhere else. They are overpriced and now the infection? I will never go back nor would I recommend them to anyone else read more

I recently got my nails done here and did not have a good experience. Not long after this I was getting my nails done at another nearby nail salon, and one of the owners of Exotic Nails was there visiting a friend. She didn't think I could see her, but as soon as I walked in she started whispering about me to the nail techs and continued to watch me the whole time she was in there. After my nails were finished the nail techs seemed surprised that I liked them. I guess she had told them I wouldn't. It's bad enough to give people a bad experience at your own salon, but to cause someone to feel that way at another place is completely rude and unprofessional to say the least. read more

This was a horrible experience!! I took my daughter in to get her nails done with me. As I was getting tips put on the employees were being too playful hitting each other. The one employee hit the man working on my nails and it made the electric buffer shoot onto my skin and cut me. I bled a little and asked the man if he would stop so i could wash my hands and he said over and over that he couldn't stop. They didn't even apologize - they just made a ton of excuses. Then they still charged me the full amount. $70 for crappy service and no apology!! Definitely don't go here!!! I would rate it a negative number if I could!!! Absolutely ridiculous!!! read more
