To get really good deals, become a Premiere member and/or sign up for their text alerts which both offer lots of great deals, better than the BOGO deals. With all the deals, you can get quality fireworks for a decent price. The management here seems solid though the customer service staff seems to be seasonal so some of their staff know more than others when it comes to recommendations. Phantom also has videos for most of their fireworks online or Google what you're looking at in the store to see how it performs. Fireworks for any occasion. Definitely worth a visit - especially if you sign up for text deals and/or become Premier by spending enough. Also there are usually Groupons a few weeks ahead of the 4th that offer big discounts on some items. Happy 4th!

We adore Plymouth Township Park! There's so much to do during any season. The big hill is perfect…read morefor sledding for older elementary aged kids and up and it's a bit less steep on the side for younger kids. There are trails to walk through with little streams and bridges and downed trees that are perfect for any season. The pond hosts ducks in the spring and summer which are fun to watch. There are plenty of picnic tables and pavilions to eat at or rent. Lots of different play structures are dotted around, our favorite being the large wooden one. There's even bunches and seating in the center. The best part is that there is a smaller toddler wooden park within the big one which is fenced with one entrance and exit right by the seating with swings. The highlight of the park, though, is the splash pad in summer. It's geared more towards young children and toddlers, probably kindergarten and below, but it's a lot of fun to spread a blanket in the shade while the kids play.

And it's air conditioned -Handicap parking available Cons: - Free parking fills up fast -Gets a bit chaotic in the evenings when the older crowds come in -Craft show is more like a vendor show and out of the way -Some of the workers did not have appropriate sun coverage in the heat and we felt so bad they weren't provided that. -General fair overpriced everything. It was nearly 100 degrees when we went, so we brought an entire backpack of frozen water bottles as well as all the sun gear. Probably due to the heat, there were no lines and our kids were happy to zoom around keeping cool and riding everything they could. There are a bunch of toddler and kid rides which was just what we wanted. One adult wristband was enough to go on a few additional rides with our 5 year old. We brought lunch and ate at covered picnic tables. It was hot, and as adults we were sort of miserable trudging all over the blacktop, but our kids had so much fun and 6 months later, are still talking about it.

It was a beautiful sight with yellow and orange shades along with greenery that was coming toward the end of season. It was a very refreshing walk as I was making my way to a nearby sushi restaurant. The breeze was a little cooler and the temperature was around 60 degrees. A beautiful autumn day.

It is so large, in fact, that normal observation of the children should be heightened just a bit because they can get out of sight pretty easily. There are grills where and covered areas for parties and picnics. I attended a 'National Night Out' here that was set up by the Redford Police Department. They are always very helpful and kind. There is a baseball field here and some sort of trail. I haven't been able to get to the creek but it runs through the park. I am looking forward to returning here to investigate and study the creek and its environs.

The neighborhood around this park gets bombarded with visitors including myself during the Redford fireworks. The police blocks certain streets to give people who park in the neighborhood and walk to the park, room to walk on traffic free streets.

My husband and I brought our pups here for a little outdoor time during social distancing and despite it being a gorgeous Saturday early-evening we didn't run into any one else on any of the trails we explored. So it's a really great spot to enjoy some outdoor adventures without worrying about getting too close to other people. Beautifully maintained, tons of parking and pup friendly! Just remember bug spray if you get into the woods/near the river. I forgot and got eaten up quite a bit!

It was an awesome sunny afternoon in early May with temps approaching 60 degrees...the perfect time…read morefor a bike ride. Michigan's Washtenaw County has created a 35-mile "Border-to-Border" paved bicycle trail that winds from Dexter through Tree Town (Ann Arbor) and on to Yipsilanti. Much of the trail is off-road and provides plenty of welcomed shade and river views on a hot summer day. Today, my wife and I chose to ride 10 miles of the B2B Trail in the Dexter area that winds through the Hudson Mills Metropark. Given the pandemic, we saw plenty of courteous walkers, joggers and bikers sharing the 10-foot wide trail which enabled effective social distancing. The Hudson Mills Metropark section of the trail in Dexter is a true gem that offers fresh air, sunshine and the opportunity to get some welcomed exercise. We look forward to the time when we can once again stop into the Riverview Restaurant after our bike ride and enjoy a breakfast or lunch. Until then, we're staying safe in Dexter. 5 stars!

What a fantastic hidden gem here in MH and quite an accessible park. It's located behind the police…read morestation and the Lamphere high school off 13 mile and John R. We grabbed some carry out from Trizest and picked this park since it's close by and there are several picnic tables, even a sheltered area and a nice walking path up and around the hill. The top of the hill is a great spot to sit and watch the sunset. The walking path around the park is pretty decent as far as length goes. There's also a little playground for kids, a baseball diamond and other recreational areas of the park. There are several different areas to park as well. During the pandemic it's a great spot to get some carry out and have an ad hoc picnic with your family and friends. There's some volleyball games going on tonight as well. It's great to have a little picnic at one of the tables and then go for a walk after dinner. We then stick around to watch the sunset up on the hill.

Everyone has to bring a firework of some kind.. roman candle, mortar... rocket So after boating in Lake Erie we stopped by Motor City... my first time there, it is way in the back of a mostly vacant discount mall. Their store is huge with a overwhelming selection.... way more that the tents that pop up all over town. One of the guys with us said their prices were a lot less than other places. They are open year round and the staff was very helpful. All I know is we walked out of there with a whole lot of fire and noise in our bags. A few nights later on the 4th, the party was awesome. Fortunately there was a SFL there (sober fireworks lighter) and we all sat back and enjoyed a good 45 minute display of 35 or so of the best colorful, loud, bright, crackling fireworks money can buy......
