I went here to learn more about bearded dragons and to get an idea of the care they take. We were greeted warmly by I'm assuming one of the owners and their unofficial workers. But unfortunately I can't remember his name. But he shared his knowledge and opinions on things we should look for in an enclosure and everything else we might need. We were allowed to handle a couple of the ones they do have. Even though we didn't make a purchase at this time, this will be the place we do it from. This is my go to reptile store. Have bought an animal, multiple tanks, and an abundance of decor/husbandry items and feeders off of them. Steve is a delightful dude and so are all of his employees. You can always expect a laugh when you go in there as well as wonderful customer service. If one of them is unable to answer a question you might have, they know someone that has the answer and will get it for you. If there's a product you're in the market for, they can probably order it for you, or point you in the right direction. This is probably the most hygienic reptile store I've set foot in. If any other store I've visited is even relatively clean, the animals look miserable. The amount of effort gone into the care here is great. We love going into reptile shops and we do so with excitement and intentions to respect the animals and staff during our visits. Which was exactly what we did here, yet as soon as we stepped in we could feel the air change. -I AM NOT SAYING THE ESTABLISHMENT IS RACIST- but I am saying it's a little weird the cashier didn't greet us while greeting everyone else, and then an associate followed us all around the store. This place was great, they were very helpful and had great supply's. All the animals had great enclosures including bio-actives for their amphibians. The staff were very nice and very helpful when it came to finding the right materials for setting up my first bio-active enclosure. As a reptile aficionado of many decades, usually reptiles in pet shops make me sad. Even most so called "specialty" reptile stores. Tiny filthy cages, sick animals, and employees who know absolutely nothing (but won't hesitate to give out incorrect advice) is the norm. Not so at Exotic Envy! Stopped in for my 1st visit today and was so pleasantly surprised. They have a unique assortment of animals (not just ball pythons and bearded dragons). Everything is immaculately clean. I mean 100% spotless. All animals were housed appropriately according to their species requirements, as opposed to the typical pet store who acts like substrate/lighting/humidity/UV/etc are one size fits all. All animals had live insects and/or fresh veggies (whichever was appropriate for their species) not those god awful pellet foods that should be banned. Signage on the cage was truthful. Said things like "fragile species- display animal only. Shouldn't be handled." and several monitors and tegus were truthfully labeled "Bites!" Shows you that Exotic Envy is more interested in finding the right home for their animals then in making a quick sale. So many reptile shops will tell you their tegus/monitor/iguanas are "puppy dog tame" and then some unsuspecting person takes it home and loses a finger. Google "iguana bite" if you don't believe me. Exotic Envy was such a great experience. Most definitely the best reptile store in the Atlanta area. Would enthusiastically recommend. Oh, inverts aren't my thing, but if they're yours, they had a wide selection of those too. 100% worth the visit read more

All I can say is WOW! I have never seen such clean enclosures with such well fed animals. And the variety of species they have is better than most reptile shows. They also have great supplies that are appropriate for the animals they offer unlike many big box pet stores. Nice staff too! read more

Absolutely adore this place. It was quite a drive from my apartment and absolutely worth it. They have great supplies for building and adding to your enclosures, huge variety of feeders, and a great selection of both common and uncommon creatures. I purchased two super sweet whites tree frogs here (and left with some decor I didn't even plan to purchase) and the staff was a great help in answering my questions about them.
