Enterprise was supposed to pick me up at the body shop where I was dropping off my car at 9:00 am. Didn't happen. At 9:15 I called the shop. They had forgotten all about me. They said they would leave to come get me right away. Finally Picked up at 9:45 and driven to the 7700 Park Blvd location. Even though Enterprise called me to confirm my reservation last week and had gathered all my info at that time, telling me all I needed was my drivers license and a credit card on the day of the rental, they wanted all my info AGAIN as if they hadn't already gotten it when they called me to confirm. I had to provide my policy number, my deductible, my address, two different phone numbers (which was quite a trick because I only have one), my Drivers license, and my credit card for a deposit. All info they already had (Except the credit card number, I don't hand that out over the phone). The attendant took me out to look at a car. The first thing the attendant did was pop the trunk to show me the spare tire. No Spare Tire. The attendant said I didn't need one. I said I did. I can just imagine the hassles I would have to go through if I had a flat. Went back inside and waited 1/2 hour for them to wash, groom, and fill the tank of a newly returned vehicle. I have a 4 door sedan and that is what I wanted to rent. I ended up with a 4 door Hyundai Tucson. Finally left the Enterprise lot at 11:00 am after 2 hours of frustration.

I reserved a cargo van to go 1 way to Louisville, KY from St. Petersburg FL. I reserved this on…read more10/18 for a pickup on 11/26 at 11:30 am. At about 10:30 am on 11/26, I called the pick up location to see if I could come a few minutes early to pick up the van. The man who answered responded that they do not have a van for me. I asked what happened and he didn't know but that they don't have one for me. I asked what am I supposed to do? I have a trip planned and items ready to be loaded into the van. His response was cold as he said "What do you want me to do? I can't make one appear". He suggested I call the Clearwater location on Ulmerton Road. When I asked for their phone number he just said "Google it". I called and did speak to a very nice lady who explained that this can happen from time to time if inventory isn't planned but should be communicated several days to a week before pickup. Unfortunately she did not have a van for me and didn't understand why they told me to call her. She said that I should call the 1-800 number and someone in inventory can probably help. I did and was able to get a 12' truck (much bigger than I needed or wanted and very fuel inefficient). I had to go 28 miles out of my way to pick up the truck too. What also frustrates me is that I got several emails from Laura Gangnier reminding me to get insurance because most personal car policies don't cover truck rental. I got an email from her at 7:45 am the morning I was supposed to pick up the truck. Why is she emailing me if they don't even have the van I reserved?
