Playing early in the day is a completely different experience than playing in the evening, although this visit our play lasted more than 10 hours we left winners and had an amazing time and a pretty good meal prepared in-house at one of the host restaurants. This is a giant casino with a large variety of machines and tables and a super friendly staff - they continue to reinvest in this property to ensure it provides a wonderful experience in my opinion. This venue provides one of the only form of entertainment that you may leave with more than you arrived with if you treat it like entertainment and never invest more than you can afford to lose, as they say they didn't build these places on winner's so play conservative and within your means. I've been coming here for years and it never disappoints, one of the first things you'll notice when you walk through the doors is it's fill with the smiles of happy people. I did not realize the table-game rules are different; with sunglasses not allowed at tables other than poker for one (fine, I didn't know). Instead of a simple explanation, it was handled like I had done something wrong, and when I needed to use my phone, I attempted to step away from the table I was playing at (which wasn't good enough). Instead of a warning, I was immediately threatened with management. When management came and I spoke with them and I asked calmly for a way to contact tribal guest relations since I felt the manner was handled very unprofessionally; I was then threatened with security. (Asking a question is not a reason to call security.) While I was talking to the head of security, a server who already had an issue with me (because I spoke loud in a loud environment) inserted herself into the conversation without being asked. It was passive-aggressive and unprofessional. I was not looking for a fight. I was trying to understand the rules, and I was instead retaliated against for asking. Thankfully, security had no reason to detain me and let me go. I have spent plenty of money at casinos that treat guests with respect but Coushatta treated me like a problem, and that is why I will not return. Do not come and gamble your money unless you want to be treated as a third-world citizen here. I will be cross posting.

Absolutely loved this casino after visiting a few times while staying in the area. The staff here is very friendly and the casino is very clean and although smoking is allowed you'd never know, it's obvious they installed some pretty effective air handlers that's capable of complete air exchanges continuously. The restrooms are well maintained and there are a number of restaurants that are serving up some tasty dishes I was really surprised with the food quality and I do recommend trying their chicken and sausage gumbo it's delicious - there is also a small gift shop. I only played slot although there are a generous number of table games. We did pretty good considering we stayed only a few hours both times we visited, although I always treat my visits as entertainment it's always nice to bring home a little of their money, eat their complimentary food using the comps and bagging a few of their promotional gifts. This place is definitely worth visiting if you enjoy this type of entertainment, I know I'll return when back in the area...

This is a real travel plaza though so don't let the casino fool you into thinking otherwise being there are many businesses that seem to advertise they are a full service travel center but one look inside it's obvious it's all about the casino and less about a convenient store or customers service, although they are required to sell fuel to legitimize the gambling requirements. The staff here was friendly and welcomed us in when we entered the store and the store was very clean and organized. The place also looks run down as well, but they are making improvements there as I saw them doing some renovations. Casino size is a good size. They have 1100 machines there and a good selections of old school lots, versus new school slots. They have a drink station of soda and a refrigerator for water. I ended up putting those to good use. The bathrooms were interesting as the town did have water issues down to the winter freeze. The toilets did not flush powerfully. They have a nice lounge for Emerald and Up, I tried to use my card to access the lounge but did not work, but a nice lady let me in with hers. It has a nice couch and private bathroom. I guess if you needed to go to sleep this is the place. I came on a Saturday and it was not too busy, but it might get busy at night, I am not so sure. My Gaming experience was I was having a lot of fun. I guess when you hit a jackpot over 2K you should be having fun. I also had some good wins at the casino as well as shown in the picture. I played diamond run and enjoy the game quite a bit. I ended up getting the bonus three times. One was a dud, one was alright and one ended up being a jackpot. The high limit room was alright. They have a different kind of top dollar as there was a Blazing 7 kind. I ended up playing the machine, however no luck. I had luck at Pinball. They have a nice and friendly staff as I was helped very fast when the machine broken. There was in particular that was broken and I ended up on it. The security and staff was nice as well and kept asking me for a drink, but I told them no as soda and water is okay with me. I came here on the 2nd visit, but did not have much luck. I am not so sure if it was because I was carrying over my losing streak from Biloxi at Harrah's. But I was losing really fast there that I ended up leaving in an hour. I would definitely come back here as a pit stop and if my wife comes with me she can at least rest at the lounge. Unfortunately, you can stay at the hotel, but it is for Choice Hotel so the room rate will not be comped.
