So we did it as quickly as we could as he delivered our food. I understand he had other deliveries to make and we should've had the cash prepared but he was very rude, yelled and complained at the concierge desk around other people. I liked the idea of the restaurant with many different choices of food, but the execution left a little to be desired. For the price the quality wasn't that great. Good but not great. The beer selection again was good not great. Like the old saying. Jack of all trades, master of none. Too bad. I had the sashimi poke bowl. Wow! What an amazing culinary experience! First of all, exit 4 food hall is beautifully designed and decorated from its distressed wood to the large wooden tables to the light fixtures. You can't help but notice all the details and the care that makes exit 4 unique. The food was absolutely delicious. Since its grand opening, I have been twice. A Saturday for lunch and then for an early dinner last night. It was packed for lunch but as I waited for my table I scanned the menus and was excited to try the seafood area. I had the raw bar special,clam and shrimp and oysters. My husband and I split it. It was so fresh and tasty and simply delicious. I delicately ate my lobster roll which also was fresh and so perfect from the large meat chunks of lobster on the warm toasted bun. Yum. My daughter had the brick oven plain pizza which was also delicious. My husband had sushi and he too gave it a thumbs up for freshness and taste. Last night I couldn't wait to try the wine on tap which was cold and crisp like Chardonnay should be. I shared a pizza as an appetizer and shared the ahi bahn mi which was a Korean dish. Oh my goodness what an absolute treat. I loved it. A quick dessert in a cute glass container to end my culinary experience. It was truly a delicious meal. I would give this place 3 and half stars. The food is pretty good and overall it was a good experience. I ordered several items bc I wanted to try it all lol the fried Mac n cheese doughnuts were delish and so was their Brussels sprouts. The fish tacos were good as well. However, the beef dumplings were missing some flavor. The cookie dough dessert was very good but it would've been better had it has fresh whip cream or served with something to help balance it out. We've gone twice recently and I really, really wanted to like it. The concept (order at counter, sit down, someone brings your meal out once it's prepared, no wait service) reminds me of "cafeteria style" spots in Austin where you can get amazing tacos and BBQ. The pros of Exit 4 include a great vibe (good for families, first dates, couples, etc), good location (you can park behind the old Borders if you can't find a street space and put your license plate into the paystation), outdoor space, and quick eating. As others pointed out, it is a little confusing the first time to figure out where to order, get silverware, and sit, but you'll be a pro by the second trip. (Although I haven't figured out where you get water and glasses for the table since I did see some groups with a bottle.) Unfortunately, we weren't impressed with what we ordered both times--my husband had the prime rib sandwich the first time, which was small and it didn't come with anything--it cost $15 (plus an extra charge for some kind of add-on) and he was still hungry after he finished. I ordered a spicy tuna poke bowl and it was fine but not great. Last night I ordered three chicken tacos on corn tortillas--the chicken was super dry and the filling was very light--I'm talking like 7 black beans, a tiny bit of salsa and rice, a few shreds of cheese, and a very bitter chimichurri sauce in each taco. My husband ordered a baked ziti dish, which tasted OK but it was very small. He also ordered the beef brisket sandwich, which was fine--nothing stood out as really good. It seems pricey for what it is (about $50 for our items last night--no alcohol)--my husband said it felt like a fancy food court. I also wasn't clear on who to tip. I first tipped the folks who made the food but then I felt like I should have tipped the folks bringing the food to the table and the bartenders. read more

I came here with three friends and after reading the other reviews I could understand what they meant when they said the ordering process was a little confusing. When you walk into the place your eyes are scanning not just one place to eat, but over 4. The problem I noticed is that each restaurant menu posted on the wall seemed to meld into the adjacent restaurant, so your eyes are not focusing in on just one menu but two or three at a time - I was a little overwhelmed. The inside has plenty of seating, but they could use a few more tables - wooden hightop tables in the front and in the back room your normal lower tables. The only problem with sitting in the back room is that the lighting is too dark and you get that lonely feeling because all the action is happening in the front room. Also, it will be a challenge to find seating on a Friday or Sat night. There are only 2 bathrooms in the place and that needs to be expanded for such a large place. There is metered street parking and good luck finding a spot. Now for our meal choices: I Love the Ribs at Rotisserie-A-Q / I ordered from the "Ticklers" Menu 3 Ribs and 2 Sides for $10. The Ribs (dry) fall off the bone, Yum! Yum! My friend ordered from the Fish counter in the front, she had the Lobster Roll for $18, SAVE YOUR MONEY$$$$ - it is NOT WORTH It! The Roll is too small, and the Lobster meat on the roll was cold - the only warm thing on the roll was the butter - SAVE YOUR MONEY$$$ and go for the Ribs! This food hall is a good idea, and I think we will see more of them coming to Westchester in the near future. But, If you want to experience a fabulous food hall go to "Urbanspace Vanderbilt" at 230 Park Ave, next to Grand Central Station in NY City. They have over 20 artisanal and chef-driven food counters - it's really a foodies paradise and you will not be dissapointed. read more

Visited yesterday after hiking in the neighborhood. I'm all about the iced coffee or cold beer and snack that awaits at the end of the long hike, and Exit 4 looked perfect. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, interesting and diverse food choices, relatively reasonably priced ... However, this "tab" set-up needs some improvement. Our very nice waitress at the bar took our order, yet it took over 15 minutes to deliver a bowl of clam chowder. (She had to get it herself.) It was delicious - rich and creamy - as was the house draft beer and the hummus with pita. Small gripe - the hummus was spread over a big plate, but in all, there was very little there for $8.00. Maybe a little serving size adjustment is needed. Overall, I'll definitely give Exit 4 another go. It's new and probably has some growing pains to get through. Great concept! read more

I am up here in mount kisco for business purposes. Came to this place, because we saw it while driving to go to another restaurant. But I must say, it was one of the best experience ever, That I have to share it to everybody in my company, that is also up here for work. So they can experience the excellent customer service. Imagine I'm from NYC so my expectation is pretty high. But basing it on customer service and food. I give this place a 5 star. Everybody in all station is super friendly and so helpful in ensuring you pick the right food based on what you like. You can literally come here everyday, as they serve different kind of food in every stations they have differ choices From Asian, to Mexican, to american, raw fresh delicious amazing seafood, Italian food and a bar that serves wine and beer, and that will provide you a tasting of their drinks, so you can pick the best one based on you preference. They take on a "seat yourself" approach which makes it really difficult given how crowded they get. If you can't find a table right away I would recommend visiting the various food counters ranging from fresh Blue Crab claws to their oven baked personal pizzas. By the time you decide what you want to eat and grab a nice cold beer on tap, you may just score a seat. The concept of eating yummy foods next to a stranger adds a special element to your dining experience. Definitely not a place to go on a first date or an intimate night out with friends. LOVE this place. Been here twice. Quiet and relaxing with lovely natural light and woodwork. Food is amazing. I love the juice I got was very tasty - orange and turmeric yummy - and the beet salad was delicious. I ordered additional chicken but the lady didn't hear me and when I asked about it, they comp'ed it. Super sweet people. They cleared our dishes when we left. Mom had the meatballs and said they were just what she wanted. I could see them shucking fresh oysters. Raw bar looked amazing. Guy at the BBQ station smiled and said hi to me. Great addition to the area. I was thrilled when I heard Myong was taking part in this new food experience. I couldn't wait to check it out. On Saturday, 2/6, my husband and I stopped in for an early dinner. So many choices! Love this! I opted for some oysters from Mt Kisco Seafood...so delicious. Next, I ordered an ahi bahn mi plate from Myong's Paninis, Sandwiches & Wraps. I was excited, as I've heard wonderful things about the Vietnamese bahn mi sandwiches but have never tried one. The flavors are incredible here. First bite...I LOVE this! Last bite...when can I come back and order this again! (I returned on Monday!!). The flavors are fresh, small bit of heat, cool ahi tuna with pickled veg, on soft little buns. OMG! Accompanied by a glass of wine from the bar...I was very happy indeed. My husband chose the Rotiss-A-Q. He had pulled pork and a huge hunk of corn bread. Yum! My return on Monday with a friend led me to more oysters and ahi bahn mi, but also take out for dinner later. I purchased a lobster roll from Mt Kisco Seafood - yum, and a porketta sandwich w/au jus and mac 'n cheese for my husband. Not a crumb remained by the end of dinner! I love the system, too. Upon placing your first order at your first counter, your credit card is swiped and an order # is generated. Thereafter, anywhere you stop to place orders simply give them your order # or name and what you order is added to your bill. You get cards w/#s to place at your table and your food is brought to you. Staff comes by on a regular basis to make sure plates are cleared out of the way and the management strolls around to make sure everything is running smoothly. I have no complaints. Exit 4 is new and exciting. That is obvious as you watch people walk through the door, gaze around and see their eyes light up with anticipation. Like kids in a candy store. This weekend I celebrated my birthday with 10 friends at Exit 4 Food Hall and it was an awesome day! We sat outside and spent the entire afternoon into the night there. It was great that all the different types of food were available for picky friends, vegetarian friends, and gluten free friends. We had wings, a few kinds of pizza, charcuterie, calamari, popcorn shrimp, sushi, pasta, cannolis, and plenty of beer! Everything we ate was delicious. Izzy, the owner, brought us things to try and really paid attention to our group. Gina was one of the servers that helped us, and she was wonderful! Everyone was great! I was nervous that the place might be too small for a group of 10 if it was crowded for the Oktoberfest, but it was a beautiful day so it was nice to sit outside (and there was room inside even if it wasn't!). I rarely right negative reviews, but my experience here was not so great. I had the udon and it literally tasted like kitchen sink water and undercooked noodles. I went up to one of the staff members and told them that I wasn't happy with my dish. She gave me a menu and told me to choose something else free of charge. I got the baked penne this time which was better but still not great. There was no flavor & the pasta was quite underdone. I have to say the food looks insta-worthy but I has no flavor.
