Most recently I received a facial from McKenzie who was a joy to work with. Unlike some estheticians who begin extractions without warning, McKenzie informed me I had a few areas to work on but also noted I could opt out at any time or skip it altogether. She also provided suggestions for additional products to moisturize my face and for upkeep after the facial. I do also recommend this spa for massages because I have had two great ones to date. I highly recommend booking a visit or asking your significant other to shower you with gift cards so you can try it out for yourself.

They went ahead and brought my mom and sisters back to get started, but then suddenly told me I couldn't receive my massage because I had an appendectomy a month ago. What made this worse was the timing and how it was handled. I was the first one to hand in my paperwork so they had plenty of time to let me know beforehand. But instead they waited until after my family had already started their services, purposely so we wouldn't be able to leave or reschedule together. Then, instead of being upfront right away, they still brought me all the way back to a room, fully knowing they weren't going to perform the service. It felt like they were just stalling. They even stepped out and "checked with a manager," which took more time and didn't change anything. I politely asked if they could at least let my mom know before she got too far into her massage so she could decide if she wanted to continue or reschedule with me. The staff got super uncomfortable and awkward and took forever to do something so simple. When the girl at the front desk finally came back out, I asked if they had told her, and she said they just slipped a note under the door. She was already well into her massage at that point, so it didn't even give her a real chance to make a decision and ended up just ruining her massage altogether. It was very clear they wanted to make sure no one was able to cancel, even though this was specifically booked as a girls spa appointment to do together. So since we all rode together I sat there for an hour waiting for them to be done and that entire time not once did someone apologize or even try to mend the situation. The manager was also aware of everything and didn't come out once. At the end my mom suggested that they need to be asking these surgery questions when booking and the front desk just stared at her like she was crazy. With that being said, the four of us will not be returning due to this terrible customer service and clear financial manipulation.

The person responding through messenger was nice enough. The lady who applied my peel didn't reach out to me until a week after the appt and only asked how my peeling went then tried to get me to come in for more products/sessions. I paid over $250 for this, the results were okay but it could have really messed up my face if I did it wrong. The least she could have been is responsive or a little more informative. Very disappointing for a place, I usually enjoy visiting.
