GO KART FAMILY FUN DAY!!!…read more Found this on Groupon and thought we would try it out. I can give this a quick review as we spent most of our time on the Go Karts. At least the ones that were open. We purchased a Groupon that gave us the day at the park and an arcade card. (Pic below of current discount) We had a great time, but it was a little repetitive when it came to fun options. The gas Go Karts were not running so there were only the electric ones. Kids had a great time!!! The arcade had allot of options, but price per game was kind of high in comparison to other Arcades we frequent. The batting cages could use some love, but most of them were up and running. Our son had a good time and we didn't need to bring equipment with us which was nice. The kids rides are like basic carnival twirly or up and down rides. The mini golf course looked to be very basic and visually stimulating at all. Like it's an after thought. Being the only one in the area, you would think they would put more thought into the players enjoyment of their course. Laser Tag was Fun, but limited space and quicker rounds then we are used to. Try Laser Ops in Tampa for a fun Laser Tag course. Check out my review!!! For all day trippers like us... There is a small restaurant on the property, but many food options around the area. We did try the little restaurant for brunch time and their food was pretty good. Mostly got pastries and everyone enjoyed them. This is not a place we would frequent because of the expense of the place and travel costs for us. It is definitely a place to visit if you're going to be in the area and want to have a Go Karting Fun Time!!! AS ALWAYS TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

Experience: came on a Tuesday evening with my family. Used the Groupon discount offered…read more Facility: This place is pretty fun. The food part is closed and they only have a few vending machines scattered for snacks and drinks. We ended up ordering Dominos and eating it out front on their picnic table. Most of the games worked and the attractions outside seemed a little older but in good condition overall. They offer mini golf (desperately needs to be cleaned in the gutter type holes ...leaves are clogging them and the ball got stuck before we realized they aren't functioning) which we really enjoyed. We also played laser tag, drove go carts, had batting practice in the cage, rode the tall "drop" ride, and played a few video games inside. Service: some workers were so nice and helpful. Some made you feel like they wanted you there. But of course you always have those that seem unhappy at their job and make you feel like a bother. There was one guy with really long straight hair that needs to find a different job because clearly he was not happy there. Otherwise they were almost all very nice. Loved the gal at Laser Tag and the gal at the desk when we first arrived (I wish I would have gotten all their names). Extra note: Oh yeah, and to the one young guy who came up to distract me when I was in the batting cage... you need to understand that is dangerous! Your co-workers had already told us how long we had left in the cage.. twice. Then you walked up after without checking with them if they notified us, and instead chose to talk to me with 50mph balls coming at my body. They literally only last a few minutes... you could have waited until I was done with that round. I understand yall are all ready to go home, but use a little common sense next time please. Plus I still had time as your other coworkers had told us. Overall: we had a great time. We really enjoyed the batting cages, mini-golf, go carts and laser tag. We will definitely come back and refer others to come. A few disgruntled workers are not enough to keep us away... only to mark down the rating a little. LOL!

Obviously the system they're so stuck on isn't as great as actual communication... so I contacted Mario again (who was never what I'd call either polite or rude, just kind of bored and indifferent) and they finally sent an invoice with the time window and length of party I had requested. Arrived on time the day of, and set things up as we had discussed. (The reasons for 2 stars). The kids were on the truck playing games and I was sitting in the shade at the picnic table with the other parents and after 2-3 hours Mario approached and said they'll be packing up soon as they have another party after us and could I pay now. I was a little taken aback as I had paid half the total as a deposit for a 4 hour party. So I "asked" him hadn't I scheduled 4 hours? He said no. Now, beginning to get a little perturbed I told him "yes sir, actually I did", and also reminded him I specified the arrival and departure time. He proceeded to argue with me, in front of all the other parents mind you, that I was wrong and they had another party to get to. All I could say was "you need to look at your invoice" after a few minutes he stormed away with the look in his eye of "OK buddy, I'll SHOW you you're wrong". Two minutes later he walked back up to the table and just said "I'll tell the crew we're leaving at 5". No apology or my mistake, you were right. So now I'm wondering just what kind of business is he running here. I entered the truck and saw all the TVs filled, but one of my son's guests playing on her phone... which didn't add up. We had invited the number of guests based on the number of TVs he supplied. So I asked my son to identify his guests and it turned out Mario had brought some kid with him, that had taken up one of the TVs for the whole three hours they had been there (so far). When I politely mentioned to the crew (which was difficult as I was fairly pissed off at that point) that I had guests who weren't able to play and this kid who was not a guest was taking up a TV, they just said "yeah, he knows to get off if someone needs the station"; But did nothing... I had to say to the boy myself: "hey I'm sorry, but I'd like my guests to get to use the game truck that I'm renting" and he did, at that point, (with 25% of the party left) relinquish the TV. I had fed the crew pizza, offered them cake, and (even after all the frustration) sent them off with a tip... Even though I felt I didn't even REALLY get what I had contracted in my opinion. Two stars for showing up on time. Kinda generous, in my opinion, all things considered. I do not recommend. Upon seeing this review, Mario texted my personal cell with the message below. Obviously a class act. You want this guy around your kids? Not me. Reduced review to one star.

A lot has changed from the time I was a child to now, it's still very fun and exciting for kids. This location is never overly busy and the store is very clean. The way it works is you can pay for time or tokens. We usually stick to tokens because my kids are 5 and 1 and they aren't as fast. I love that they have a section for toddlers with moving miniature cars. They even have the classic Chuck E. Cheese car that takes your photo. This feels so nostalgic. Somewhere I have a photo in a car similar to this. They also have lots of arcade games for older kids as well. Including classic favorites like Mario cart, basketball and bocce ball. For entertainment things have changed a lot since covid and I think overall it's for the better. They no longer have a stage with puppets or a performance. Instead they play kid bops on the big screen and occasionally do countdowns for a in person appearance from Chuck E. He comes out and greets the kids. For birthdays he interacts with the birthday kids. I think they make birthdays very special from what I can see. During Halloween they had festive music with special halloween shows playing. They have a dance floor that moves according to movement and our kids really love dancing on it. Recently they added a new feature of a trampoline section. My son loved it but I didn't really care for the set up. It cost extra to get socks and use the trampoline and you have to constantly look for an employee to monitor the area. I will say they keep people out that haven't paid which reduces the chance of it getting crowded. For food they have a few basic options including pizza and wings. They also have a salad bar that I really enjoy. They have fountain soda. If you buy a special cup you can use it every-time you come and we sure do. They also have beer and wine for adults. For desert they do sale cakes for birthdays but they also have dipping dots, cotton candy (I've never seen it on) and other select icecream bars and sandwiches. Overall Chuck E Cheese is so much fun for the kids and perfect for parties or a rainy day in.

The evening bartender/employee there is great! 2) The restrooms are much better since they renovated them. 3) Installation of new ceiling fans everywhere - - major plus! BAD: 1) The swivel chairs provided for bowlers are extremely dirty/nasty. They are a light grey color. If u look at both the front and especially the back of the majority of the swivel chairs you'll clearly see where they haven't been cleaned in years (dark color). I actually have a spray cleaner and towel in my bowling ball bag that I use to clean the chair before I sit down in it. Suggest Employees be tasked to perform something that would take maybe 5 minutes per chair to do. I'm guessing maybe twice a year cleaning is all it should take. 2) Quite a few of these swivel chairs require replacement bearings. When you sit in one of these chairs it leans heavily to one side. There are some chairs that will barely swivel. 3) Perhaps this has recently changed. The indoor/outdoor floor carpet clearly shows where it has not been cleaned in years. Suggest a simple to use carpet cleaner be rented from nearby Home Depot. Any employee should be able to resolve this matter when the bowling alley closes at night. Per numerous electric fans recently installed,,, the indoor/outdoor carpet would dry rather easily overnight. 4) I, along with others have witnessed a particular young 20 year old employee who has been unprofessional on many occasions to include not being at the front counter in which she sometimes cuddles up with her boyfriend who bowls on league nights. I'm pretty sure others have also addressed this same issue.
