Kitchen help and food is from a Kosher Catering off sight service. My loved one has experienced abusive treatment by one of their servers twice. It was reported and this server remains employed. Food is very expensive and hit or miss. For what they charge you can do much much better elsewhere.

Mom has a 700 sq ft one bedroom w full bath, washer /dryer, full kitchen,& living room w separate storage unit. It is perfect for her. She has 4 closets! There are modern finishes throughout. It is so beautiful! Wonderful hot Breakfasts and Dinner are provided in the lovely dining room each day and there is a Bistro to order lunch if she so chooses. The Dining options are nothing less than spectacular! Stefani, Dining Room manager, together with the Chef,present a wonderful menu each evening. Residents are seated, menus presented,orders taken and served as one would be served in a fancy restaurant. It is true pampering that includes many choices of appetizer, entree, sides and dessert!.They impressively strive to meet the dietary needs of each guest. The servers in the dining room are so gentle and kind to the residents, catering to their needs as well. In the afternoons, there is often tea and cookies in the lovely conservatory. In the Leasing Office, there is Margo , whose kindness does not end after the lease is signed. She is on the property and continues to take interest in the residents and daily happenings in their lives. There was a not a question that she could not answer on our tour and subsequent move-in with Mom. She is always there if we have a question. As you drive up to the elegant portico, you will be greeted by the friendly and always smiling, Jimmy, Jackson, or Justin, the valets. These gentlemen know how to treat people! They are so kind and will do whatever they can to make the resident's lives easier. Driving the AllSeason limo or passenger van are Arthur and Bobbie. Once again, they are smiling , kind, warm and efficient. Some of the residents say they feel like they "live on a cruise ship" with all the amenities & activities. Concierges Dawn, Christina & Janice are the next people you encounter in the lobby. They handle a myriad of tasks effortlessly to help the residents in so many ways, taking messages, receiving guests, packages and calls. In short, my siblings and I are throroughly pleased w our Mom's choice of moving to AllSeasons Birmingham. We feel our Mom is safe, in a lovely environment and has the option of activities ( more than I can name here!) and delicious and nutritious meals. We feel the AllSeasons staff do truly care about our Mom & her happiness in her living space. They say," You may live in your apartment, but this entire building is your Home!" It looks like a pleasurable space where I would set my office, and could work from no problem. I don't know what the prices are so it's really hard to comment on how that would work but from looking at some of the offices I saw there in they're two story building, someone could basically hold a meeting in the meeting space, have lunch in the lunch area with a client, and then have their own private workspace. My family and I have been staying at Legacy Rochester apartments for about a year. Their sales pitch is great - brand new apartments, state of the art facilities including gym, swimming pool, dog spa, etc. The place is beautiful and the apartments are great, with brand new amenities, I can't deny that. But the experience was very poor overall. You are dealing with a HUGE corporation, and they don't care about you. Their contracts are ironclad, and there is no empathy or anything else. During their sales pitch, they did promise verbally that the swimming pool would be ready "by the end of the Summer". A year and counting, the swimming pool has not been delivered. We moved in, there were no mailboxes - we were directed to go direct to the post office, which is the absolute worst experience, their service is atrocious. The leasing office just kept telling us "this is with USPS, there is nothing we can do". Not really putting the extra effort here. We moved in July 2024, mailboxes were finally installed in February, a full 7 months after we moved in. No pool for a full year, no mail for 7 months, zero concession. Please read all the fine print in their contract. There is a 60 day move out clause. They sent me the renewal paperwork but I had to read the attached document's fine print to be reminded of that... The day before Memorial day they sent me a final notice stating that if I did not give them notice on that same day, I would be responsible for additional rent. I was on vacation for 4 days so I missed that too. I ended up giving them 54 day notice, but they will absolutely not budge, and will be charging me for 6 extra days. Talk about empathy and customer experience. Given the price of the apartment, that will probably be around $700. No pool for a full year, no mail for 7 months, but they are still sticking to their contractual fine print to nail you every possible way. Just watch out, it's really a process and a lot of paperwork. Also note that depending on the unit you got, you might be getting a pretty nice surprise when getting the utility bills. I got a 3 bedroom approx. 1,300 sqft apartment. DTE for electricy it running around $150 - $200 / month in Summer / Fall, but here are the Winter bills: $257 (December); $407 (January); $561 (February); $538 (March). Absolutely ridiculous, I feel like we are heating / cooling the entire building. As great as the facilities look, I really don't recommend this place. Once you are in, you are dealing with the big company and they don't really care about people, stick to the contract and certainly not go out of their way to make you feel all warm and fuzzy.

I have had the benefit (or not, depending on how you look at it!) of experiencing the old…read moremanagement and the new, as I moved in (04/2015) right as they sold the place to the company that owns Philamer and another complex in Royal Oak. We were all told initially that our rents would increase from 590 to possibly $50 or a little or, depending on the type of unit you have. I have the oldest unit with no updates. Needless to say, I was upset when it was increased over $100 to $725, being told they had to compete with "market values." They attempted to soften the blow by saying the pool is getting redone for summer and we'll provide some other updates to make it "worth your while." This was in April, 2016. Now, almost 6 months later, the pool area is not done, and I have yet to see any of the promised modifications to my unit such as: new windows, new doors, wood floors, new light fixtures, etc. The pool and the front of the building are absolute EYESORES, with dirt piles everywhere. To add insult to injury, they give their current residents the figurative middle finger constantly by renovating all the old units when people move out, never taking any time to update the current units of their current tenants. I can understand the need for bringing more people in, however there's a balance here that is not happening. I've been hounding management for months to get what was promised, with little to no response. They are only worried about money, and it's obvious. I've noticed that since they have taken over, the turnover here has been very high. Apart from the crappy management, my neighbors smoke a ton of pot and have loud, barking dogs. So if that's not an issue for you, great. If it is, don't expect the management to do anything about it, because they don't care. I am counting down the days until my lease is up and I can get out of this place. There are better places to live. Don't do it.
