The purpose of my review today is to express my great admiration and recognition of the director of Life Enrichment, L.J. Williams. The Ivybrooke Duo has been performing at All Seasons for a couple of years now, and every time we are greeted by friendly people who really enjoy classical music, stories, and other musical adventures. L.J. listens to the residents. When they compliment our programs, we always tell them to pass that on to the him. L.J. realizes that it builds trust when he can honor the requests of the people who live there. It is easy to see that he makes a huge effort to provide quality musical programming as well as many other enjoyable activities which contribute to their overall happiness and well-being. We are treated so kindly when we perform there and that is a reflection on how they are treated. They are engaged in living. They have positive attitudes and they ask wonderful questions and truly enjoy taking part in our program. This is all because L.J. listens to them and provides the music that they want to hear! The opportunities provided at All Seasons far exceed many of the other facilities where we perform. When a Life Enrichment director is so devoted to creating a quality experience, you can't go wrong. My mother has lived at All Seasons Birmingham for about 3 years. The building is beautiful, but that's not what stands out the most to me. All Seasons' staff receive 5 stars. There are too many to mention and I may misspell the ones I comment about. Jimmy and Jackson are part of the first-impression crew, the valets that help folks in and out of the building and manage the cars. They are amazing. Christina is often at the concierge desk. She is amazingly helpful to me and my mother. She goes above and beyond to respond to resident's needs. And, she smiles. The dining room staff is accommodating and professional. Stephanie listens to resident requests and has a fun, creative, and energetic approach to making the dining experience special. Stephanie works to make dinner time a highlight rather than a boring necessity. Food quality is paired with the look and feel of a restaurant. There are themed meals and special events. Staff like Maven and Taleena are exceptional at their jobs whether it's wine and cheese time or taking dinner orders in a noisy room of hangry seniors. I cannot say enough about the wonderful people who work at All Seasons. It starts with Jimmy, Jackson and Justin who are the first ones you see. They are there the minute you drive up, willing to help in any way from helping you out of the car, putting your walker where needed to helping you with your groceries. And all done with warm and genuine smiles! Arthur is always on hand to take you where you need to go - wherever and whenever. He is compassionate, reliable and always has a smile on his face. Cindy is the next person I usually see. Always asking how the family is, answering all questions and concerns, even going up to check on my dad when his phone was off the hook! Priceless. When going to the dining room you are greeted either by Tammy or Steffani. Both are gracious, welcoming and fun! They find us a table with our friends or have us join new friends. My family and I are big fans of All Seasons/Birmingham. It is such a complicated crossroads - a lifelong spouse passes; a beloved house sells; friend's winter elsewhere or move near their children and grandchildren...How to make this juncture less traumatic, how to soften the blows..? Our solution has been All Seasons of Birmingham. The greetings from the valet car parkers are friendly and sincere; the interior is attractive, immaculate, and thoughtfully appointed; the dining room is abuzz with lively conversation, helpful service, and very good food & wine! We couldn't know what this chapter would bring for our mom, but All Seasons knew and helped mitigate the challenges with warmth, insight, and their dedication to engaged Senior Living. I was invited to a luncheon given by a friend who recently moved into All Seasons. She hosted about 15 friends who all work with her as volunteers at a local charity. The luncheon took place in one of the private rooms available for entertaining. It was wonderful....the service, the food and the ambience. It was like having a lunch at a exclusive five star hotel or restaurant. Such a nice option for the residents of All Seasons to utilize. Also, the decor throughout was very attractive and inviting. All Seasons is a place that merits looking into for those who are downsizing and need some assistance on occasion. My mother has lived at The All Seasons for the past 3 years. This is an outstanding senior living facility. This past week my mother had a 92nd birthday celebration luncheon that was catered on site. Steffani did an amazing job of assisting my mother with all the arrangements and ordered a wonderful cake and balloons. She went above and beyond in her assistance. Everyone truly enjoyed themselves. This place is the BEST. LJ took us on a wonderful movie trip, Steffani treated our table like royalty, and Tammy sweetly and smilingly saved a perfect table for us. Chris maintenance, is a wonderful guy who is always helpful. I am not mechanical, so it is critical for me to live where they offer this service. From the first day I was here I knew I was in the right place. I found Chris. He fixed or showed me how to work everything in my apartment. Chris is respectful and dependable. Just visited my Mom there last night and had dinner in the dining room. Lovely setting. The food was great but more importantly our server, Tammy, was super.
