Our experience with ERS was top notch. We are first time homebuyers and we knew going in that we were going to have to replace the roof on our new home. ERS was one of several companies that was recommended to us and that submitted bids for the work. From our first phone call, talking to Michelle in the front office, everything was done professionally and all the paperwork was handled back and forth, easily and quickly. They re-roofed our new home and a separate garage, including replacing some dry-rotted eaves, in two days. Turnaround from signing the paperwork to delivery of the materials and installation of the new roof was just under three weeks. The workers were polite and friendly and professional. I would also like to note, I called and asked if someone could come out and check the flashing around my chimney because I was feeling a little anxious about it (it didn't look like the kind of chimney flashing that I'd seen before), and not only did Jorge come out and inspect the whole roof on a very wet day, he also took one look at my gutters and cleared them out for me because they were full of leaves after the windstorm we had last week. I really appreciated this kind act. Then he patiently explained what I could expect to want to do in terms of roof maintenance, when to call them, and answered some of my other newbie questions. As a first time homeowner who has never had to maintain a roof before, this was reassuring. I would recommend them to anyone. We were not overcharged for the work we received at all. Their bid was solidly in the middle of the range of bids we received, and we feel like we got excellent value and customer service. I have twin toddler grandkids and I asked them to make sure to be extra careful that all nails that might have fallen would be removed from the property. They really were thorough and careful to remove every scrap of everything afterwards. The company's bid was comparable to others we received, and we felt comfortable going ahead with them since they were available, knowledgeable about the permit and updates in the roofing business. They were reliable and did a thorough job. Since we live in an area with high east winds, they went the extra mile and secured the shingles with extra fasteners. I would like to describe a personal experience I had with them: They ignored my calls and were awful.

* Context: first time homeowner here, knew the roof would need replacing when house was purchased. Executive Roof Services (ERS) came recommended from our neighbor who is a real estate agent. * Their quoted price was right in the middle of the 3 quotes we got. * What sold me was the itemized quote and a detailed proposal emailed to me after the walkthrough. The owner Mike then called me to walk me through the proposal page by page (complete with pictures of our roof highlighting areas of concern/discussion) and explain what his team would be doing, what options we had, and answer any questions I had. Theirs was also the only proposal that noted (*ahead of time*) that our old powerline into the house would likely need replacing for their team to safely work around it. None of the other proposals caught that, and I wouldn't have wanted to deal with that mid-project. * Compared to the other quotes I got (one was a single page PDF with the total amount, no itemization) I knew exactly what I was getting and how much each option cost so I knew what I was getting for my money. * Owner Mike was responsive and patient as he explained how the process would work. * Owners son Scott was friendly and kept in daily communication with me via text during the project. * Team Leads Omar Lopez and Omar Hernandez were professional, courteous, communicative, and friendly. (Omar #1 saw me taking pictures on my phone from the ground and offered to jump up on the roof to get better angles for me, much appreciated. See photos). * ERS was flexible with us as we had electrical work that had to be done in the middle of the project (powerline coming into the house from the utility pole needed to be routed to a new masthead). They came back after a week to finish the job professionally. * Roof was left watertight each night, even when no rain in the forecast (see photos). * Final bill was exactly as quoted. * Workspace was cleaned up each night after work, with magnets picking up nails and other sharps. Overall final impression: ERS gave me an accurate thorough quote, maintained clear and consistent communication with me, was flexible with scheduling, sent a professional team, and made a stressful situation clear and transparent. We had a mixed experience with ERS. All the people we dealt with were pleasant and as far as we know they did the job right (has not rained yet so we will see), but here were the problems: 1) very poor job protecting our property from falling shingles. Our wood siding, wooden railings and air conditioner all got beaten up and we have 3 of our window screens with rips in them from the shingles being flung off the roof with inadequate protection placed. Our landscaping took a beating too. 2) Poor clean up. Friends rave about their roofer cleaning up nails and shingles and even sweeping with a magnet. We picked up a large coffee can full of nails and are still finding bits of shingle months later. 3) Overcharges for change orders. They even used plywood we stockpiled for one of own jobs and then charged us for more plywood and 2x4s then they could have used in the size of the area they treated. 4) Inappropriate materials. We have a small flat section of roof and they bid that as a continuous piece of impervious material. When it came time to do that part we didn't see anything like that and asked. They then said they still needed to order so we delayed. When it came time to do it, they confirmed for us it would be one continuous piece - no seams for snow melt or rain to work into. But we watched them send up a roll of material too small for the area...so we called the foreman, he stopped work, left and came back a few hours later with the right size piece. In the final bill they billed us for the full day even though the large gap in worktime was their fault....Also had we not noticed what they were doing we'd have a seam on that part of the roof. So...recommend with caveats...but maybe shop around first. read more

Had a bad experience with ERS. They came recommended when by my realtor once I relocated to the area from San Fran. The first red flag was the rude service in countered on the phone but as they came recommended I continued to make an appointment. After missing their appointment my calls went unanswered. I will choose to work with a more professional company as I have more trust is the quality of work. read more

I was referred to ERS and what a referral it was. They were professional at all times. They showed up on time. We were given a quote and because of all the above we went with them. The day before they deliver a porta-potty out front for there guys. The next day they showed up with a large tarp covered trailer and got to work and work they did. It was super hot out and they just continued on with the job. They moved quickly getting the roof off and went right in to putting it back on. They were here til almost dark each day working hard. They cleaned up all fallen debris, dragged a magnet for nails and all this at the end of each hot day. Folding their tarps, keeping everything neat and plants covered while working. I will not forget about this company because they take pride in their work. This is a company I have referred others to and will continue to do so. I had made several requests for bids with different roofers in the area. Executive was able to explain what the roof can and can't do such as how it won't fully prevent moss growth with the metal granules but did mention how to treat the roof each year to keep it from growing. They also use the synthetic roof felt and install a ridge vent which appears to be the best method for venting. It also helped that their bid was the lowest of the ones I got. The work was delayed due to excessive rain but they kept us informed on changes. When the work was done, it took about two days and looks great. The price came in right at the bid. I'm planning to build a shop soon and will be using them for the roof on that as well. Great people to work with and would highly recommend them for your roofing needs. read more

I recently purchased a home in West Linn, Oregon, from super agent Haleigh Robbins of Robbins Realty. Haleigh had two roof inspections performed as part of my due diligence. One company, ERS, stood out right from the beginning. They were prompt, thorough, and honest in their assessment that the roof would last another year or two. Being a belt and suspenders personality, I decided to replace the roof anyway and had ERS bid the job along with two other highly rated and reviewed companies. ERS was close to the lowest bid and well short of the highest bid. They had great reviews and were experienced with the product I wanted to use. I decided to go with them and received very personalized service right from the start. I'm detail oriented and very picky about results. After many years in business I'm used to having product providers sell something they can't deliver. ERS did not use pressure sales tactics, showed up when they said they would, and delivered a product that exceeded my expectations in every respect. They were the rare case of the "demo" understating the "experience." The new roof is flawlessly installed and gorgeous. I would highly recommend Executive Roof Services (ERS). I have had trouble with my roof for years now. I had one company replace the backside which is a low pitch roof years ago due to a leak. Unfortunately it didn't work and the contracting board was no help. Next I tired a contractor and again still leaked. So by now I was frustrated and didn't have much faith in contractors or roofing companies plus I had added damage due to the prolonged water damage. So I began the search for a company that could handle the leaking problem because of the low pitch part of my roof, the added siding damage, plus a mold issue due to a leaking skylight. And who had financing. I went to Home Advisor and read their suggestions. One thing they said don't be afraid to go outside your area. After 8 estimates I choose ERS and very glad I did. Though they are based in Vancouver, Wa. That didn't affect anything. (Not even our horrible traffic) They had two crews one for the main part of my roof. Once we finally had a dry day they came bright and early and put in a 12 hour day. They worked very hard. No sitting around talking or smoking. A nice change from what I have seen. They kept me up to date on when they would be back to finish things up. Their part turned out GREAT! Next Michael and Sean came for the tricky part of my roof. They needed 3 straight days of dry weather to put on the Membrane material needed for the low pitch side of my roof. The forecast said 3 days of decent weather was coming up so here they come. They put in their 2 days but needed 1 more day to finish. The forecast said the next day would be nice but they didn't take a chance and covered my roof just in case. Good they did cause it rained. (That was a Saturday which he asked would it be ok if we worked that day) Michael did not have my phone number and he told me he would be back on that Saturday but of course I knew it was raining and didn't expect to see him. But he told me he was coming and he is a man of his word. He drove from Vancouver just to tell me they couldn't work that day because of the rain. That was amazing, what a guy!! They came back on Sunday and my roof was done!!! read more

After getting several quotes from different roofing companies for a small patch area over the laundry area at my rental (which leaked profusely after a rain), Executive presented a fair price and seemed very interested in getting our business. It was late August. I signed on the dotted line and gave them the 30% down they requested. My big error was believing that they were going to actually do the work in a timely fashion! My daughter (who lives in the rental) finally got a call a week later...she was scheduled for Sept. 26! After a call complaining about the lateness, we were finally rescheduled for Monday, Sept. 16. Guess what? My daughter called and was told it was raining and they cannot do the repairs in the rain..rescheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 17. I called BS and then called Executive and was told by Michelle that they cannot do repairs in the rain. I said "so if it rains from now until June, my roof will not get fixed til next summer?" She said, "I didn't say that.."..then got Austin (who had been in a meeting). Austin assured me that they were still coming that Tuesday and would be there by noon. Again, I stupidly believed them (and they had my money)..BUT...(enter clock chiming sounds here) : ding, ding, ding, dong, dong, dong, ding, ding, dong, dong, ding, dong..12 pm and voila! NOBODY..no calls/nothing. Daughter calls at 12:50 and fired them (on message machine because no one picked up). Austin calls her back at 1:20 pm "they were on their way but I've called them back"..anybody got a bridge to sell? They did nothing to mitigate the roof leak, never told us they were "9 weeks out from doing the job" when we signed. read more

Had executive roof services fix my roof because i thought they were a professional roofing company. ..found out different when a few months after repair roof started leaking...called them...they basically said they don't stand behind there work. ..i paid 600 bucks for 40 minutes of work. ..they Mexican they sent couldn't get the chimney pipe out so i had to do that for him...shoddy work to say the least... read more
