The communication prior to the move from Joe was proactive and clear so I knew exactly what to expect. Jose and his team arrived on time and I loved the text message telling me when they were en route. They packed up my apartment so quickly and they were also careful, making sure to pack everything well. Even with stairs, they unpacked at my new location very fast and even made sure we were happy with where everything was placed. Jose was easy to talk to and very professional about making sure we had a good experience. The team also worked quickly and finished the job in under the 6 hours quoted. So appreciative of Jose and his team and the whole experience with Vector. Hopefully our next move is many years away but we would definitely go with Vector again!

What started out as a good day ended up being one of the worst days of my life. i had moved the same stuff 3 months ago with another mover and it took 3 hours and cost me 800. ( three men ). simply elite quoted me around the same price so I went with them as other reviews seemed positive. This time they came with a rented truck with a broken lift gate, a new foreman and one of the other men who had only been moving 3 months. while they were very nice this move took over 8 hours and this was with me unwrapping the furniture as it came in and folding up their blankets. My sister and I were also helping them to bring my belongings up to my apartment. They nickel snd dimed me on everything and then held the last of my furniture hostage until I paid the bill. The final bill was over 2300. when I complained they took off 200 which was a complete joke. The bigger loss was My mothers diamond engagement ring was also missing. It had been in my jewelry armoire which I had taped shut do that it would be secure while moving. I had not realized until later that evening that they had removed my tape under the guise that they were protecting it from damage. Yes.. my mistake trusting that it would be safe . I am devastated by this loss. This was my great grandmothers ring and cannot be replaced emotionally or financially. financially. I went out to the truck to see if maybe it had fallen out in there, but was unable to find it. I spoke to management of the company who claimed that a lot of people have lost things, and they find it the next day. Hopefully, this will be the end of my story, and I will update this review, but as of now it is still not found. If I ever have to move again, I will make sure that the estimate is with a FaceTime review, so I don't get charged over three times. The amount initially quoted, and I will never ever leave anything of value out of my site.

I was told a 3 day window for pickup but of course last day ended up to be the pickup day . Ok fine. Time scheduled was 12 noon - They showed up @ 10 pm on the Friday night.- 10 hours later- multiple excuses. The coordinator guy told me cancel if you like... and he would consider not charging me th 450 bucks! Really ?? Thats so nice of him _ Not!! He told me moving is stressful and this is par for the course. Hmm.... I needed the furniture at my new place and we were flying out the next morning. They know they have you once you pay the non refundable deposit. They did show up on time to the destination- which was a positive , but then the moving guys refused to the take the furniture inside as they picked it up from the garage. I moved the stuff to the garage to make it easier for them and I still stood in the shivering cold while they packed my stuff, Now they said the company rule was to they leave things where they found the stuff. No good deed goes unpunished.!! Really sad as I like to support small businesses - but not a pleasant experience and stressful. On the day of the move, they brought everything we needed (moving blankets etc.) We boxed everything else ourselves before they arrived. The three movers assigned were cheerful and helpful and did their job very, very well. We've moved a lot over the years and this was one of the best experiences we had. They even helped us pick up a Facebook marketplace patio set on our way! Remember to tip your movers - it's hard work!!

Based on the other reviews, I'm thinking I might have caught some of the folx on off-days? I will say they were prompt and polite, and Sway really tried to make up for what he could tell was not the smoothest move. It was not an inexpensive move, but the price matched with other companies I got quotes from. *I'd recommend not asking them to move plants because almost all of the plants they handled lost limbs. Not sure how to get around this if you're a person without a car or just want everything moved in one trip, but I'm glad I moved most of the plants myself. Art was handled delicately though!
