The wood paneling and decor reminiscent of some island shack somewhere. I opted for a spray tan because the place I usually go had no openings. The gal who did my tan was efficient and the tan itself was the best spray tan I received anywhere all summer. The reason I took away a star is because the place felt like the last time it was clean was in the 90s. I felt a little grimy but I walked away a bronze goddess so I'll take it. I also appreciated that they are open on Sundays and will work to get you in. I'll definitely go back!

I own a salon and have airbrushed many clients in 5 years. We do not have the equipment for mobile and always sent her the mobile requests. Meg does not work for me but is an independent consultant. She recently has completed a 10 person wedding party for us that was perfect. Meg has used norvel solution (80% of all mobile services use this solution) but she also is the only mobile that uses infinity sun. She has many solutions for light color, medium and dark. The next option is down a side street which looks kind of sketchy. There are homeless living at the end of the street. This is where I usually park. There are other cars there so it must be safe and I've never had any vandalism to my car or harassment getting to my car so I guess all is well. I wish they had a private lot. The salon is very pleasant. When you enter you get greeted by the receptionist or one of the stylist. I come here for Kimberly who does facials so I walk to the back and wait at the dryers till she is ready.

For reference she is located across from Burgers and Brew. They don't have a private lot, it's all street parking. Usually the spots at the front of the Beauty Bar are taken so I park down the street on a side street. It's a bit sketchy, but it works. I go in bimonthly as that fits in the budgets and that's a stretch. I was told that I should come no later than 7 weeks out so I come between 6-7 weeks out. Kimberly is very professional and has years of experience. My husband also goes to her for facials and has gone since she was at her old location downtown, that location was even tougher for parking as they only had a few spots our front with meters, at least this new spot doesn't have meters. As you can tell with my other reviews that parking is a big deal and if I can't find a parking spot I don't frequent the establishment even if I love the place. I have been coming to Kimberly for a year or two now and my skin looks fabulous, at lot has to do with my genes. I get compliments on my skin and always tell them about Kimberly. One of the things I appreciate most is that they're not pushy with upselling, which was a major turn-off at other salons.
