My other tan plans fell thru so I was searching frantically last minute and no one answered or had availability, but Laura fit me in when I needed her It's been 3 days and I am still super brown She was very professional and made me feel comfortable getting naked in front of a stranger l, I'm curvier and have some insecurities but she made me feel comfortable, took her time and was thorough she got everything didn't miss a spot. I'm a little bit away from Elk Grove but it was definitely worth the drive out, of your looking then this is the person for you! This is the only spray tan I've ever had so I have nothing to compare it to. That being said, everything was super easy. I called and made an appointment and she gave me directions over the phone about exfoliating before and wearing loose clothes. She was very friendly so that set a nice tone. I showed up for my appointment and honestly it's awkward AF. You strip down and stand in front of a stranger inside a little tent while they spray all your cellulite. It is what it is. Laura was SO sweet! I'm a bigger girl and at one point I apologized for being so awkward. She told me to never apologize for my body or who I am. That's some sage advice right there. It's been over a week and I'm still fairly tan. I'll definitely come back if I have more occasions where I'll need a tan. read more

Laura's spray tanning is without a doubt the best spray tanning I have ever gotten. I used to work at a tanning salon, so I have gotten several over the years. Laura's tanning solution is the perfect golden tan. She has medium or dark and I chose dark. The whole experience was very comfortable. She is so sweet and generous! I had been looking to get spray tanned after my regular girl moved away, so I saw that Laura had great reviews, so I tried her and my first spray was great, the color was very nice. I contacted her to try to get in a second time and unfortunately something had come up and I wasn't going to make it so I texted her to let her know and if I could come a little later and she said no, that she had someone right after me, that's ok! So I made an appt for the next week to come in. I got there 4 min after my appt time and she opened the door very flustered and said that she can't tan me since I'm late.... and I need to find another place to tan.... I was so shocked at how she handled that. I have a business as well and I would never turn a client away for being 4 min late.... I just thought that was extremely unprofessional and rude. A better reaction would have been saying hey just so you know for next time please be sure to get here right at the appt time every time. Most businesses have a grace time about 10 min and if your late after that of course you would have to reschedule, but 4 min! That's crazy! read more

Honest, genuine, listens to what you want, takes her time to be sure the job is done right, won't spray your ears, palms or heels orange (I know you know what I'm talking about!), she is clean and neat and pretty much the only place I'll use again and again! Almost 3 weeks ago on a Saturday night, the day before I was supposed to go to a wedding, my spray tan plans fell through & I was left scrambling to find a place or person to do it last minute. I called tons of different numbers and they were either closed, the person was out of town, didn't answer, or was no longer in business. I came across Beachworks Custom Spray Tan & called as a last resort after trying at least 12-15 other places. It was already the evening time, so I didn't really have high hopes that I would have any luck at this point. I called the number and as luck would have it, the owner, Laura, answered! She was available to spray tan (in Elk Grove) and I was so happy she was available! She was very nice on the phone & gave me her address. I got my custom spray tan (hand spray) & I have to say that it turned out to be the best one I've ever gotten! She took such care with what she did, & didn't make me feel rushed at all. She was attentive to detail & did an excellent job overall! My tan was the perfect color & it lasted longer than other ones I've gotten in the past. I will absolutely go back to her from now on & I highly recommend going to her if you want the perfect tan-golden, natural, even, & fabulous! You will not be disappointed, I promise!
