Don't buy. They give you a lot of false hope of getting out of a timeshare if you own one. They don't tell you, you are the ones doing all the work on this piece. Also you are paying a lot of money upfront for "discounts" that trust me are not anything you couldn't through Priceline or Expedia, no matter what they say. My wife and I went to a required presentation on October 17, 2023 as we had already received discounted tickets to a show. We had no plans to buy anything but just sit through the sales pitches. Which we did. However, I would like to enlighten people as to what happened. 1.) When we entered the building we were quickly met by a salesperson who got me a cup of coffee. He knew we were hostile to buying but that didn't surprise him. Everybody is. 2,) We were taken into the main presentation room. There we met the presenter who said he had done this job for twenty-two years. He gave a poliished pitch with excellent slides, videos, and examples beginning with the statement that he was not selling timeshares. In fact they help people out of them. 3.) Next we were sent into separate offices (car salemen anyone!) 4.) The original salesman offered us discounts from the $19,995 price. We were as likely to purchase colon exams as his product. We said no. 4.)He left and another woman came in. She asked if we had been to such a presentation before. We had and said so. Then she signed the release and we left to take it to the half price ticket store. GAME OVER! read more

My wife and I went to the presentation during August of 2021 and listened to the presentation and purchased the plan and during the 7 to 8 months have found that this company apparently offers foreign travel for the most part, with very little domestic travel available. Like most of the other reviewers, our experience at Excursions in Branson was terrible. It is questionable that it is worth getting tickets to shows at a highly reduced price but having to sit through the abuse their sales people heap on you when you say no. I have done a lot of research over the years booking trips for myself and I was not buying the savings that they were claiming for their members. The membership cost is highly excessive but they offer ever better deals as you say no. None of them are worth the abuse. They tell you the presentation will take 90 minutes but they keep you as long as they want because they no you need the form signed to get the reduced ticket prices. How they think they are going to sell you anything after calling you "dishonest" and threatening not to sign the form is beyond me. Three words: Horrible, horrible, horrible. Don't do it. We went to one of their "no pressure" presentations as we were promised $200 to listen for 90 minutes. The presenter was not exciting at all. Then they gave us to a sales rep who quoted us $19,995 to join, plus $395 'fee', plus $69 quarterly! What a ripoff!! He would not take no for an answer, then began dropping the price. We continues to say NO and finally he turned us over to a very rude and obnoxious guy who got mad when I kept telling him "NO". He turned us over to "the boss" who was also rude and insulting. This place is nothing but a bunch of lying hateful people. How could anyone enjoy this job. We went because we were told if we wanted our discount tickets we had no choice but to go. We had no idea what they would be selling. The first person spent most of his time telling us his life story and how he got married. Who cares? Then he went into this is NO sales, no pressure and sent us to another room. This time the man (one of the bosses) said that for only $19,000 we could join or for $29,000 they would get us out of our timeshare, which we were not interested in doing. We said no and then it started about how timeshares cheat you etc. etc. My husband and myself told the man we had owned our timeshare for 17 years and used it all the time. He more or less said I was lying if I liked it. Which by now he was using a very ugly voice. I told him I didn't like the way he was talking to me and he said he didn't like my attitude. I started to say something and he got up and said follow me, he signed our forms and we left. This was the worst presentation we have ever been to, and we have been to many over the years. We got our tickets from the Welcome Center-Save on Branson. They were nice but be careful if they want you to go to Excursions first even when you have already paid for you tickets. read more

We went to the presentation on June 1st not intending to buy anything since we did it strictly to get discount tickets to the Branson shows. We repeatedly told them that we would not be buying anything. All was ok until the end when I asked if we could leave at 11:56 am and could I get the paper signed that I had to return to the ticket office. Instead they put us in an empty room and said someone would come to sign our paper. No one came for 10-15 minutes. We finally had to go and find someone who finally signed our paper after many repeated attempts to sell us a vacation club. I absolutely DID NOT appreciate being put into a back room and left there because we did not buy anything. That is VERY POOR business practice and I give them zero stars. Why I didn't look at reviews before we bought, that was my first mistake. 2nd mistake was to try to use their services but that has been a disaster as their booking person is in Florida and we wanted reservations in Branson, MO. Less than 1 star!!! Steer clear of this place-at least don't spend your hard earned $10,000+ on their travel club! What a complete waste! We were shown Viking Cruises and all sorts of amazing trips, but when you go to book, you might save $20 or $30 per room at a hotel or in order to get a "deal," you have to go somewhere hot in the summer or cold in the winter. The places you can stay are subpar, very old, etc. We have tried to use this service but never have seen anything that saved us money when we wanted to travel or even seen places we would want to take our shoes and socks off at the end of the day. YUCK!!! You'd be much better off doing last minute cruise deals or finding deals online on your own. Wish we would've paid full price for the Branson shows-we'd have been MUCH better off. read more

we went to the mandatory presentation. it was quite entertaining. we figured it would be pretty much a mixture of some truths and a lot of embellishment. we were told the BBB gave them a D- rating because they were run by the Mob and used extortion methods to force them to pay for a higher rating. actually told us the BBB was started by the infamous Al Capone!! it was also very odd that we were the only ones left in the room shortly after the presentation. I had heard a rumor that these companies use seat fillers to pretend they are prospective buyers. hmmmmm....bottom line... we had a fabulous weekend in Branson on their dime. read more

Run as fast as you can away from this presentation, 1 star is as low as someone can rate this company. Very nice, polite people doing the sales pitch, but high pressure when you try and turn them down. The buy in price started out at $29,900, and got down to $11,634 by the time we got sucked in. I did review research online later that evening, and all I found was complaints, they are not BBB approved, and had an F rating. The 'online live' resort price searches they did showing the drastically discounted room prices sure looked great, but are all fake, you can find better prices on Priceline, Expedia etc. They did not tell us about the 5 day window regarding our option to cancel the contract, I read that in the paperwork when I got back to our condo. We went back the next day to cancel the contract, and not surprisingly, they offered to discount the contract to as low a $4,050. We declined. Fortunately, we got the $11,634 refunded on our credit card in a few days. we feel fortunate we didn't find out too late about canceling, we would have regretted this purchase for the rest of our lives. Then 2 weeks later they called and offered it for free if we would agree to pay the $69 quarterly fee. We said no, because I did not trust these people. I agree with all the other reviews written here. We attended their sales presentation March 24, 2021. As many others have said the price for the package started out well into 5 figures but eventually came down to $3500 + $69 quarterly dues. I am embarrassed to admit we finally fell for it thinking we could find outstanding travel values. Not long after we tried on two occasions to use their services only to find out that we could find better accomodations and better prices on our own. So, essentially what we paid for was absolutely nothing. We notified them them we were canceling our membership so at least we would not have to pay the quarterly dues. We could see any legal was to get out of paying the $3500 or we would have done that too. I hope people will pay attention to the reviews to save them the money and aggravation. read more

While it is true that much of my frustration is addressed in the contract in a subdued way, still I have to say an Excursion package was a lousy purchase. Not only are the savings nominal (considering we had to pay for the right to save in a nominal way), but you are completely locked in once you reserve a room. Yes, we were told this, however it is with use this reality hits home and we realize how much better it would be to save money with Priceline or other such sites. At least with most of them you can pay a tad more for the ability to cancel if need be. What is interesting we just had the same situation with a Wyndham resort on August 15th and they were willing to modify my reservation and ours was a discovery package. This is possibly because they were sold out and knew they could have a quick turnaround with the room but still they were gracious and accommodating. All I asked Excursions to do was downsize the suite because we had two people unable to come for reasons beyond anyone's control. I bet they would have upsized had we needed a larger room. Grab this! She told me I could cancel this room and reserve a smaller one but there was no guarantee I would be refunded the cost of the first room. She didn't recommend doing that. No kidding? We have been using Excursions since March of 2021 and boy do we have buyers remorse. I wish there was a way to get our money back. In the presentation they talk about how they have few dissatisfied customers. We certainly should have checked into that further because there are a boat load of disgruntled customers. Well I hope lots of people read this so they don't have to learn the hard way. I don't see how this company can stay in business when they will in no way work with their customer. We attended a presentation with Excursions after receiving Discounted show tickets. My husband and I were both shocked with how welcoming & accommodating their employees were. We were waiting for the switch to be flipped and get a high pressure sales meeting. Thank goodness that never happened. We had a very interactive, informative, and enjoyable group presentation. Following the group presentation we were given the opportunity to join their travel agency, which we elected to accept. Since becoming a member we have been successful in booking several vacations using our membership. The savings per trip has varied. One trip we saved a few hundred dollars the last two trips we have saved approximately two thousand dollars each time. I have realized the more familiar I become with their website and the different ways to search accommodations, the more money my family will save on travel. Our experience is much the same as the other reviewer. Beware!!! The exact same Greek Cruise on Norwegian that we had already booked through Norwegian was $634 per person MORE through Excursion. Hotel rooms through choice were a dollar less but with NO Cancellation. We checked Alaska cruises and found they were $300 or so per person more through Excursions. They mislead as we also looked at $199 condos and found 59 throughout the world for the entire month of January and none were close to us! Very misleading bordering on fraud! Not sure how they can sleep at night! If it is too good to be true it probably is and in this case is! RUN!!! read more

If I could give a lower rating I would. The promises and hype about the beautiful $199 a week places we could stay is nothing but hype. We were told our kids could have a membership for $40 so we did that. They didn't tell us it was $40 a yr. per kid! The amount it costs for the membership and for the quarterly dues are not a savings! So beware and do much needed research before being suckered into their smooth talk. I always research and read reviews except for this one time. Never again! The one positive thing is they did reduce the quarterly fee because of Covid! If you can stay away from this abusive people and bully fox there, do yourself a favor and run! A lady that works in 5 and below store said that she saw me in her store, therefore they decided that they'll pressure me with their high sells peach, and I wanted to see which one was it, since in my vacation, I'm definitely shopping around the local store that the city has to offer, so that's part of my trip plans. I didn't see it as a " crime" going to local shops and buy things in a vacation time. But they made it as it was unusual if you go to 5 & below, you must to be local, as they claimed that I was ( which is not the case) just from the word of this lady that works there that said: I saw her in the store. Than they treathen to call the police on me if I wasn't going to leave, as if I refused already. Before they even asked me nicely to leave ( for no reason) they already made the call to 911 for me to leave. I've asked the man there 3 times for his name and he refused to give me. So I took his picture and posted it with 1 star review on google, so any body can see who was this abusive person that insist of me to leave before the presentation was started. They claimed that I just came for the free gifts to their place ( as if no body else coming for that purpose) and didn't want to start their video presentation while I was still there. It was very rude, aggressively done, and very disrespectful to say at least. These people don't know how to treat customers that taking their time to come hearing what they have to offer & all they complained about was the free gifts that people are coming to get for their time. That's what they actually offer, so why they surprised about the reason that people coming to them? To spend 2-3 hours to hear hard pressure sells peach from 4 people at one table, since the first person might not be convincing enough, it's hard to take in and very brutal approach. As if the word: NO doesn't exist in their vocabulary. Since they can't treat people with respect and curtsy, I would suggest you to stay away from this particular place as far as you can. Deals that are cheaper & better offer in: Expedia.com or cheap flight. Com and cheapOAir etc, if you like in your time to fly or reserve an hotel ( or RB&B) no need to go through these type of abusive behavior to push you against your better judgment to buy a " package deal". As they never honor what they offer, as you can read on other reviews posted here & on google. This place shouldn't be in business as they just for the purpose of taking your money for a " dream vacation" that they never actually can bring you to. Went to this presentation at the recommendation of the sales person at the buy tickets for half price. Was not sure what this was as I told her "NO TIMESHARE PRESENTATIONS". When my wife and I arrived everyone was pleasant and helpful and then things changed. We were ushered into a room and told that Mike would give us an overview. Mike came in, was pleasant at first, then once he found out I was a timeshare owner he focused the rest of his comments on "my stupidity for being a timeshare owner". Mike started his talk by saying there would be no pressure at the end. FALSE. Mike sat with my wife and I at the end of his talk and after a minute or so when I said NO, the pressure and insults came flowing. Finally Mike ask another salesman to talk with us and as he left he again emphasized our stupidity for not wanting their program and ended with the comment--"I guess we know who they voted for". Nothing is as good as it seems when the interaction degenerates as this did. Other reviews relate owner experiences. if you want good deals on tickets, go. If not, stay away. We bought a membership September 2020. It took the fourth "closer" but they "got us." First time we've ever said "Yes" to this kind of presentation. We were "persuaded" by misinformation. We were told our Timeshare was going to assess a $1300 Covid fee in 2021, a PPP Loan requirement. We are told our Timeshare would charge a $1700 transfer fee if we tried to sell ours. They used the second bit of misinformation to try to get us to pay them $1700 to get us out of our timeshare. Fortunately, we put that part of the deal on hold for two years (as they allow). We found out later that our Timeshare did not take government money in 2020 as a PPP loan so they would not be assessing the fee. They also said there was no truth in the $1700 transfer fee. We were told the website would share all of the comparative prices like the presenters screen had. No it doesn't. We were told we could rent RVs and get $10 a night full-hookup camping sites. These are not on the website and we have to call to find something. But the real buyer's remorse set in when, after it was too late, we realized that the quarterly charge of $69 meant $276 a year to keep our membership active. That means saving at least $276 a year in travel expenses to just break even and that doesn't count the $3750 one time, cash, it cost us to "seal the deal." So, I checked into putting out account on hold to save $69 quarterly. I thought that meant paying a whole year in advance. WRONG. We can restart the membership but the second you make it active again, it will cost you $269 and the quarterly fees start up again. Unless you plan on traveling a lot to extravagant locations, be cautious. When we think about it, it would take a whole lot of traveling to save $3750 plus $69 quarterly and after that begin to save money. Now we're stuck and need to try to make the best of it. We have two grown children and growing grandchildren. Hopefully they can take advantage of our blunder. If they can, we'll get some value out of it. read more

We went to the presentation and they tried to tell us to exit our Wyndham timeshare. They continually badmouth Wyndham and said they could get us to exit it. They told us after a long sales pitch they could do this for $29,995. They also told us that we should just stop paying our Wyndham fee. I said that that would definitely affect our credit in a bad way but they said they would write a letter to the bureaus and we wouldn't have to worry. Obviously I didn't believe this so I told them no. They dropped the price to $23,995. I still said no and they continue to drop the price and try and close the sale We finally told them we weren't interested and we wanted to leave but they put us in a little room and told us somebody would be coming in there to sign the papers. When we walked in the little room they tried to sell us again and he dropped the price to $10,000. Again I told him no so the sales man left. We waited for ten minutes and a lady came in and said she was there to sign a paper so that we could leave and get our deposit back. The deposit was $50 we had to give to get free tickets and if we left without getting the paper signed we would lose the $50 and have to pay for the tickets. My wife and I were getting quite irritated with the entire operation. It was a high-pressure sales pitch and no matter how many times we said no they kept coming back with another offer. Finally the lady said she was signing the paper but before she did she had the authority to drop the price to $7000. So how does a value of $29,995 drop all the way to $7000? Obviously this was a scam and after checking the Kipling Letter we found out that a person that did buy this program for $25,000 lost all his money and never got out of his timeshare. He was a victim of this unscrupulous company. On the way back to Chicago after completing our vacation in Branson my wife and I commented many times we were so glad we didn't get swindled by these people. When we were first approached by a phone call they said they only dealt with people 62 years old and older. If you're in this age group run don't walk away from this company. This program started out at $19,995 and they had discounted it for us all the way down to $2,495 just to get us to put that on our credit card! Red flags all over the place. They provided no brochures, nothing in writing, no last names, would not let us think about it or leave they wanted our money right before we left the room - it was just all too suspicious. We bought a membership into the Branson Excursions Travel Club in April. The presentation was great. Much like a timeshare format but with all the right words about not locking you in for life, opt-out after the first year, letting your family have access in any year for just $40, etc. And, they seriously discounted the fees. The pitch showed gorgeous condos at just $199/week "everywhere" and cruises at about half price on a "Hot Deals" section of their website that was offerings for the next 60 days (which turns out to be more like 30 days). Okay...sounds good. We can afford that and besides, in a couple of years, we'll have recouped our costs from the savings. Well, the "too good to be true" ax has fallen. Today, after several tries over the past 3 months to find better deals than we could through our traditional websites, and calls to Excursions to get help, we called to cancel the membership. NO WAY!!! Too late, but I checked the BBB and found there are 39 complaints that closely parallel ours and BBB rates them an "F". I have no problem cautioning our friends about this company.
