We went to Excursions to listen to a sales presentation in exchange for discount Brandon show tickets. During the presentation, we were told this 'club' cost $99/quarter, or $396/year. The salesperson likened it to a Costo or Sam's Club membership. Based on this, we were ready to buy in order to save on future travel. We were asked if we wanted to die rich and with a perfect credit score. We were told that lots of persons with a cancer diagnosis benefited from the travel membership. On the very last slide of the presentation, it compares this 'club membership' to the costs of a time share. It states there is a $20k ($19,995) outlay and an initial processing fee of $598. Costco & Sam's Club do not charge an initial outlay of money or a processing fee. Shame on the salesperson for making such a comparison. There is no way we can afford this. When questioned about not sharing the initial outlay and processing fee until the very last slide, they offered to waive the processing fee and offered us a 10-yr membership for $6k. Then they offered us a 5-yr membership for $3k with the processing fee waived. When I told them we could not afford the $3k, the salesperson told me that they take jewelry (as if I was supposed to pawn my wedding ring). Prior to offering to take my wedding ring, he offered to finance the outlay at an 18% interest rate. At this point, the salesperson got horribly rude and kicked us out. This is a scam. We were invited to listen to a 90 minute presentation showing us an exciting new way of experiencing vacations, instead the presenter started out by telling us he was an athlete and his wife (the love of his life) was a rocket designer who got scammed by a rotten timeshare salesman for$50,000 not once but 6 times! and it all put on his credit card. When we questioned how he could condone purchases 6 times!, he had no answer, From then on, the "presentation" was nothing more than ripping apart our timeshare company. He then started asking personal questions about our memberships. When we started refusing to answer and questioned the need for the information, he stood up and threw us out for not fulfilling our part of the "presentation" and told us were were lied to by the "Save on Branson" ticket office. We still have no idea what was going on. He seemed to want us to pay him for helping us dissolve our timeshare???? He threatened to cancel our show tickets, but we fought that back at the "Save on Branson" sales office and finally they gave in and told us to leave with our tickets. We went to the presentation and was supposed to receive a cash award for viewing the presentation. Pros: The presentation was well put together and seemed a good deal. Our rep Dawson was polite and well informed. Cons Total cost of membership was almost $20k with a quarterly fee of $99. We were offered roughly $7K in discounts. When we still declined to purchase in cash Dawson got his manager. Here is where things went south. When we told the manager we wanted to do our own research into their company before purchase we were told that price was only good this instant. When we further declined the manager became hostile and combative. It was at this point we just got up and left. It was not about the money, it was about the fact that if they could drop the price $7k initially. Then we should be able to get it for that price in a hour or a day from now. Secondly we did not appreciate the high pressure sales tactics or the rude behavior of the manager. Whose brother a according to him owned the company. They would have made a sale if they had been more flexible. According to the manager the cash gift was available only if we sat through the entire presentation which apparently included his high pressure sales pitch. read more

Absolutely horrible. Let's start with the rep YELLING for the manager when I, politely, said I wasn't interested because the presenter Justin lacked credibility and I wouldn't buy a cup of coffee from him. Rolly LIED to the manager that I was not willing to stay and listen to the presentation. I specifically told Rolly he could continue but that it's not a product I trust based on the presentation. We had to wait in a separate room for the manager to come over. Rolly had to dip back in to cry about me saying I wouldn't buy a cup of coffee from him. I guess being honest is a crime. We did get the certificate signed and we were out in about an hour but honestly, I'm really not sure what the presentation was for. Just started by telling us he was a pastor and throughout the presentation misquoted Scripture in what was an obvious manipulation technique to get Christians to trust him. He gave a fake Bible verse which really attacks his credibility as a pastor. Another couple asked Justin if he was the owner and he said no, the owner was his best friend and he was working there FOR FREE (don't believe that for a second, hence I don't trust him) and he just was so grateful to the company for getting his wife out of the timeshare. After bashing timeshares and insulting anyone who bought a timeshare (literally all the couples in attendance had their timeshare less than a year) the presentation switches into....a travel agency????? I still don't get what that was about. So for $25,000 you can get a travel agent AND (for an additional fee) they will get you out of your timeshare, maybe. The presentation was seriously all over the place that we had no idea what the actual product was. Unclear why screaming at potential customers and publicly embarrassing them is a sales technique. Another couple was LIVID about how insulting the presentation was, we ran back into them after the presentation and we both had similar ick about how poorly they treated everyone. read more

We became members of Excursions several years ago. To date, they have saved me hundreds of dollars on several cruise vacations. I know that they can save me money on vacation rentals (timeshare, VRBO, AirBnB) but we haven't had a chance to use those services because we own timeshares ourselves. read more

The price was $39,000 and because we were absolutely not interested in buying after listening to their constant attacking our timeshare ownership they kept dropping the price until the final offer was $4,900. When the first salesperson who claimed to be an attorney walked out, the closer came in and tried to get us to buy. When we said no he said why did we attend the meeting. We were lead to believe they would cancel our time shares but later found out they only referred us to a third party and none of the $16,995.00 went to rid us.od time shares as promised. He was able to quote laws he said were regarding time share sales. He had a great mind for statistics but very rude personality. We received discount tickets for a 60 minute presentation. We went in for the presentation and we felt insulted twice because we own timeshares. We listened to the presentation, and then shocked that they wanted $20,000 for membership in their vacation club and then 30,000 to buy ours and use their vacation package. We were understandably shocked, and the salesman who came in was insulted and got mad at us and walked out of the room. Definitely would not recommend. We were told we would get huge discounts on tickets if we sat through this presentation and at the end of the presentation when the salesman walked out, he said that we didn't finish the presentation. I believe this a stolen valor story and I take that seriously. I googled this guy and he was an MMA fighter with the monicker of "Too Smooth". He did pass the bar. We were able to get some pretty good deals for a couple of years, but now my husband is too ill to travel and we are stuck with it. Several of the "condos" we rented were tired time shares. Too bad there's not an option for no star. Our narcissistic presenter, whom boosted about being the brother of the owner, was insulted that I didn't write down his 3 questions. When I told him him I could remember 3 questions, he told me I needed to participate. I still didn't so he spent the entire 90 minutes hurdling insults my direction, even telling me I could leave. I reminded him that I was there to learn about the program and I didn't need to like him to like the program. This is nothing but a coupon book they are offering and like all coupons they have an expiration date, which means in a few years their prices will not be able to compete with sites like booking. He also made insults about people that go to these promotions "to save $30 on show tickets". He said "we put you in a cheap hotel with tiny bathroom and you take the bait to save $30 on show tickets". Think of how many people they could scam into buying their coupon book if they had a person presenting that believed in the value of company rather than pumping up his false insights into the travel industry. His information is pre- COVID and is boarding false advertisement. Our sales person was fabulous and I felt bad that he is responsible for losing business for them. It would help if he spent more than the last 5 minutes talking about the program rather than trying to impress us with his "knowledge". I use that word lightly. Everything was great as far as sales presentation. They really do not do the high pressure thing but we were unable to join their travel club at this time due to health restrictions. I did ask our presenter if things changed would we be able to contact them directly about joining and he said absolutely, just give him a call. My wife and I got the 5-Day / 4-Night Branson deal with show tickets and attended the presentation. Pretty slick but websites were already open and wouldn't show anything not already pulled up. Starting price was just under $20k, quickly offered the $6900 option followed by the $3300 deal. We said no and weren't overly pressured like others said they were. Well after being home for a week, I get the text to call and activate my $100 hotel savings card. Then came the survey questions on how well they did and low and behold, the Platinum package ($6,500 price) is waived for us if we pay the $69 quarterly fee up front for 2 years. So, for $520 we get what we would have paid $6900 at the presentation and a $99 quarterly fee. After finding this site and reading real stories of those who bought their service, I'm glad to said thanks, but no thanks!! read more

Total SCAM - we bought into this because we travel a lot anyway. We were told that we could match or do better than other sources for Airlines, Cruises, Hotel, Rental Cars, and Condos. The problem is we attempted more than once to book airfare by calling the customer service number and the tickets prices are higher than the airline websites. The Condos and Hotels are never available and we have not even seen rental cars. We have NEVER used our high cost Travel program for 2 years now and are tempted to stop paying the monthly fees. Should give 0 star. DO NOT GET LURED IN. We were lured in, charming sales presentation ----- promises of the best of lodging, cruises, etc. Signed paperwork in January 2021. We have never been able to get any of deals at hotels, cruises, etc. We did book thru them a 7 days hotel stay in San Antonio, TX. We should have read the reviews before committing. The hotel was being renovated and was a horrible mess. According to the reviews that were only 1 week old there were only a few rooms available, construction started at 6/7 each day, all day noise. No breakfast bar, nothing. I called hotel and they confirmed everything. Could not cancel with hotel, called Excursions and was told "tough". We were finally able to get a small refund. We rode by the hotel and the entire parking area was taken by construction trucks and storage trailers. Amazing, we got reservations at at upscale hotel compared to the "Excursions Hotel" for less money. We have gotten better cruise deals directly with the cruise company and they included free air travel. Save your money. read more

Next we were sent into separate offices (car salemen anyone!) 4.) The original salesman offered us discounts from the $19,995 price. We were as likely to purchase colon exams as his product. We said no. 4.)He left and another woman came in. She asked if we had been to such a presentation before. We had and said so.
