Fairly stable workforce that always has someone present to answer questions. They will go out of their way to look for stock andcarry items to vehicle. They generally do NOT give cash back on debit purchases. The base has back up power in event of a disaster, making the shoppette a good safe post hurricane shopping location.
The class VI section is decent with four isles and a walk in cooler.
Clothing sales portion is decent for size with army, air force, and a rotating stock of commercial tactical items. They will special order if required.
Decent selection of snack food items if you are hungry.
Gas is not always competitively priced compared to off post. They do give a nickel per gallon military star discount. There is an air an water station, but the air hose is frequently broke. It is a safer place to fuel up compared to other nearby alternatives.
They are open from 0700 to 1700 on drill weekends. They are closed on all other weekends. They should have better weekend hours since this is a reserve base. The hours are primarily catering to full timers on base. read more
