They made sure that I was comfortable in the setting, that all of my needs were taken care of, and then I felt sure about the diagnosis and where to go from there. I will add, when I left, it had started to get dark and there was a parking lot security officer who made sure I even got to my car safely. Once the aide came to our room, she said absolutely nothing to any of us and waited for us to pick up my grandmother and her IV stand by ourselves then left the room without any help being provided. If it wasn't for our nurse and our own ability to stay around the clock to provide my elderly grandma assistance, she would not have received even close to adequate care.
