However, we relied on Fiji to send their care notes to our insurance to be reimbursed for services rendered as we were required to pay in advance. In hindsight, we should have submitted the care notes ourselves rather than relying on Fiji because the care notes were not sent by Fiji in a timely fashion and were missing an entire week of care which we could not be reimbursed for. In addition, Fiji's communication was weak at best as emails, texts, phone calls, and letters were not responded to. As a result, we had to pay out of pocket for the missing week, and we only received partial reimbursement by insurance. Unfortunately, we won't be using Fiji Home Care again.

Dissatisfied customer. We contracted with this agency for 3 hrs each day. Caregivers were…read moresupposed to log in on the tablet that was left at the house and fill out a form stating what was performed. Some caregivers never even filled it out. MANY TIMES, when it WAS filled out, it would say things like: made lunch, changed litter box, wiped down kitchen countertop. That's it? A 3 hr shift and this is all you did??? Just didn't feel we got our money's worth on most shifts. There were a few times the caregiver would show up 10-20 minutes late. One time, the caregiver went home 45 min. early because the patient told her to leave. Caregiver did not follow procedure and call the office from patient's house. Just left and called her manager once she was gone. Patient needed to be sure his wound was cleaned each day while the caregiver supervised on how to have him do it himself. It needed to be done daily and there were a few times the caregiver did not have the patient clean his wound - which was VERY important (and one reason WHY we hired help). When one of the patients was being discharged from a rehabilitation center via the caregiver, the discharge papers with prescription information never made it home (these were important papers!). Overall, would NEVER recommend this agency!

My father was so comfortable there. Yes, it is not his own home, but it is the next best thing! My father went to heaven in the very early morning of January 22, 2013.
