The Auto Care Nightmare…read more If I could give Firestone Complete Auto Care zero stars, I absolutely would. My experience was nothing short of a disaster. We took my car in for what should have been a simple oil change and tire rotation. We were very clear with Dave about making sure to rotate the tires side to side due to their staggered setup. This was not a small detail; we had a previous debacle with this exact issue. Dave even wrote it down on the work order, or so we thought. Fast forward to later that day when we get a call telling us that two of the lug nuts were stripped and one had severe wear and tear--and all three needed replacement. Mind you, I purchased my tires from them only a few months ago! If two lugs were indeed stripped, it's pretty clear that their team did the damage. But when we talked to Dave, he insisted it was due to "normal wear and tear." How convenient. We picked up the car in a hurry, only to get home and realize they didn't even rotate the tires correctly! My husband called to get it sorted out, but all we got from Dave was an apathetic "well, I wrote it on the work order." Great, thanks for that. He offered for us to come back, but let's be real: you can't drive with larger tires on one side than the other. So, there went our afternoon plans. We had to cancel everything just so my husband could fix the mistake Firestone made. The lobby has this ridiculous sign begging for 5-star reviews, which is laughable because they clearly need to cover up all their terrible feedback!
