The Auto Care Nightmare If I could give Firestone Complete Auto Care zero stars, I absolutely would. My experience was nothing short of a disaster. We took my car in for what should have been a simple oil change and tire rotation. We were very clear with Dave about making sure to rotate the tires side to side due to their staggered setup. This was not a small detail; we had a previous debacle with this exact issue. Dave even wrote it down on the work order, or so we thought. Fast forward to later that day when we get a call telling us that two of the lug nuts were stripped and one had severe wear and tear--and all three needed replacement. Mind you, I purchased my tires from them only a few months ago! If two lugs were indeed stripped, it's pretty clear that their team did the damage. But when we talked to Dave, he insisted it was due to "normal wear and tear." How convenient. We picked up the car in a hurry, only to get home and realize they didn't even rotate the tires correctly! My husband called to get it sorted out, but all we got from Dave was an apathetic "well, I wrote it on the work order." Great, thanks for that. He offered for us to come back, but let's be real: you can't drive with larger tires on one side than the other. So, there went our afternoon plans. We had to cancel everything just so my husband could fix the mistake Firestone made. The lobby has this ridiculous sign begging for 5-star reviews, which is laughable because they clearly need to cover up all their terrible feedback! We made it crystal clear that we will never return, and surprisingly, Dave seemed unfazed by it all. If you're looking for reliable auto care, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Firestone. You'll thank yourself later! read more

Hopefully, their customer service has improved since I was there. I eventually, left aftr 3 hours of waiting and watching their breakfast arrive while the lobby was filling up with other customers. My Jeep never moved from the parking lot to a bay... I had an appointment at 08:00, first person in the door. read more

David did a phenomenal job with working on my vehicle! I was able to drop my car off and it was fixed the same day. They were very professional and handled the inconvenience fairly quickly. The prices were not that expensive either. Thanks for all you do ! read more

YOU MUST GO HERE! I just had the most magical experience with David Camacho! He was closing and knew I was on my way because I called saying my tire was flat and I was getting a tow. He said he would help me out but they closed at 6. I got there at 5:58 and he still took me in said it was no problem! He was so kind and so nice and didn't act annoyed at all that I showed up so late. He even said... you know what. Your tire is fixable so it's on the house because I know you have had a long day and I know you want to get home to Charlotte. I haven't had this much kindness given to me in so long in the service industry and i hope that David gets a promotion and the recognition he deserves! I give this shop a 5 star because of the service and the people I will 100% be telling everyone to go here! Thank you from the bottom of my heart David and Firestone! Firestone doesn't know the which services they offer and which they don't. First came here in October to get a part installed but due to sizing issues, they were unsuccessful. Got the correct part size and called ahead to confirm pricing again. The guy stated they don't offer installation for the part. But y'all we're going to install it last month (notwithstanding incompatibility) with no problem and charge me $80+? Come here for oils changes? Tires? Safety inspection? Sure. I have been a customer at Firestone since 2013. Other than traveling and the rare occasion I cannot get an appointment on time, I do not use anyone else. I have bought all my tires from then, since I moved to SC and most of my oil changes and batteries. Today was my first time to use the Main St location and I left with a bad impression. While everyone was friendly when I spoke with them, the service is terribly slow. So slow that I left without my oil changed. After an hour and 20 minutes, my car had not moved from the spot I parked it. I made a 2pm appointment and had to leave because nothing was done. I cannot fathom why it took so long. I make appointments because I have other appointments and I do not have time to sit around all afternoon waiting for a simple oil change and that is all I made this appointment for. I understand it takes a little bit longer to get an oil change done at Firestone vs one of those in an out places but I don't care for those in and out places. Firestone (other locations) have done a great job. This one, very disappointed. read more

I got a flat tire on a Sunday and this was the only place I could find that was open. Once I was able to get my spare on, I called and was very fortunately they had one tire that would fit my car. Once I got there, they were pretty nice about the whole thing. I may have had to wait 2 hours, but for it to be a sunday and they had to work me in, I was very appreciative of them! read more

Took my car there to replace the door handle. When they called me several days later to pickup the car, I found a "green" door handle on my "silver" car. It looked awful. They told me they do not do painting, and that I had to go paint the door handle somewhere else. Besides, I found a "check engine light" sign on the dashboard that was not there before. How can you return a car to a customer with a check engine light without any explanation? I refused to bring the car back to them because I know this is one of their habits, maybe to charge customers more. Besides, they left a very sticky glu-like liquid on the car that could not be removed after I took the car to the car wash. Had to get it brushed (maybe I should say scratched off) by a car wash attendant. Needless to say, they did not deem necessary to clean the car before I picked it up. All that for a price I would not even want to say here. Please avoid!!!! The government should really investigate these people, they have hurt too many customers. read more

I'm very disappointed. I took my car to fix driver's window. They replaced windows motor regulator without doing any diagnostic. After they found out that was not the motor they told me they going to do diagnostic for $50. After diagnostic they told me that was bad switch and would take 4 days to get new one. They didn't fix the problem and they charged me for the motor regulator (their mistake) with a little discount. I would never go back there. Very bad experience. read more

Quite possibly the most unprofessional places I've ever been in. They assured me my tire would be fixed within two hours. 4.5 hours later I pulled in to check on it only to be told they had lost my ticket and couldn't fix my car. An hour after that they put my spare on and sent me my merry way. They also tried to give my key to someone there for a different problem. While I was siting inside you could hear the auto-mechanics screaming and cursing. Will never be returning. read more

We've used these guys on and off since 2010. After today I will not go back. One of the managers, Cisco Ruiz, is very polite but as far as "taking care" of his customers rates a big fat ZERO in my book. We had them repair a bead on a tire and who ever was there that day never charged us and told us that if we still had problems with it we could bring it back and expect the same service. Wrong. I took it back today when I discovered the tire flat after leaving the grocery store with my 18 month old and my dog. I got the spare on it and drove down the street where I was told it would cost me $28.00. After explaining to Cisco what the other individual told us he just shrugged his shoulders and said he had to charge me. So I call husband to ask him if I should pay the man. NO. He calls and Cisco tells him he'll take care of it. I wait and they find that it is the bead that they had previously "repaired". "That comes to $11," he says. Um, no, "my husband told me you said you would take care of it". "oh". He didn't know that my husband told me what he said. Then he says, "Well you should really have the rim sanded down." Voids my ticket, says he'll put air in my spare which was low and says they can't repair the tire now. WHAT? I don't care if they're the last "mechanics" in Spartanburg. I won't go back. read more

Ehh merely ok. I never trust these type (Firestone, Meineke, etc) shops with repairs, preferring to handle them myself, but unfortunately I can't mount and balance a tire, so I had to bring it here. I needed a rare size, so I ordered the tire online and had it delivered to Firestone. I was told by Firestone that they would call when it arrived. I finally got the email it had been delivered, so I called. "Yes we can make you an appointment tomorrow" Ok... It takes 15 min to mount and balance a tire but whatever. I go in and they ask which wheel. Left rear, pretty obvious, only one with belt showing. They say it will be about an hour. Sigh, way longer than it should take but whatever. They call me out 30 min later and show me a crack in the wheel that I was aware of, it had been previously repaired, and ask why I'm changing the tire, it looked fine. Looking over at the car, I see they've taken the right rear tire off. SMH, I tell them it's the wrong one, they then go back to the sheet and see that they did indeed have left rear on the printout. They finally got it done and put back together. They do not do nitrogen inflation just to be clear, I knew that beforehand, and they did not reset my tire monitors so I left with warning lights all over my dash. Had to take it elsewhere to have nitrogen put in, and reset the monitors myself. read more
