Raymond from Excellent Financial literally saved me over $1,000 dollars in debt! He is very knowledgeable and will take you step by step through any returns you need to file, and his preparation prices are extremely reasonable. If you are a small business owner or independent contracter (1099) I HIGHLY recommend you to see him! It will save you money in the end. Jordan Bello was fabulous! Because of Covid we actually were not able to meet with him in person. But, he was more than willing to work via email and phone. Jordan was efficient, professional, and incredibly patient with my husband and me - we asked a ton of questions and really need extra help to wrap our heads around convoluted IRS jargon. His prep fee was reasonable and he helped us to fill out new W4s for this year too. Come next year, it won't even be a question about where we'll go. I dont know much about taxes besides getting charged a ridiculous amount at other tax preparation places, but they were very good at explaining how my taxes were prepared and how my refund was calculated. raymond assisted me today on an overdue return i had to file. i am a 1099 freelance filmmaker and photograper. first, he responded within minutes to a phone message i had left. (VERY rare in this world, definitely took notice of this). second, he was straightforward, courteous and professional. his advice made sense every step along the way. i had the return prepped by an accountant beforehand, and pretty meticulously so. but there were lots of iffy things as to specific numbers, and raymond navigated through them and filled me in as to technical IRS details i didn't know about. third, my accountant had given me an estimate as to my probable tax liability. raymond was able to reduce that amount to one fifth of that estimate. not by one fifth, TO one fifth. my accountant really knows what she is doing, but i have to say, quite obviously, she pales in comparison. fourth, his fee was reasonable to say the least. i got an estimate by HR block earlier today, which was around 3 times what raymond charged me. needless to say, i will be back with future returns. great service, much appreciated! thank you. read more

He gave us so much information on what we can do to better our credit and how to amend minor things that could be bringing our scores down. The multiple variables were not straightforward and we had some glitches but overall the experience was pleasant, the result was fantastic, and the price was less than half what I paid in prior years.
