Today I finally decided to try this place. So I entered and asked to have my eyebrows threaded. The woman assured me she'd get me someone and 10 seconds later another woman approaches me and asks me to have a seat. I complied. She proceeds to ask me if I'm ok with a look on her face, not of concern, but annoyance. I tell her I'm fine and to proceed. As she begins the process and she gets to the bottom half of my eyebrow I hold my lid. This is where it gets interesting... as I had to use the other hand to hold the skin above my eyebrow to make it stable enough for her to thread. Never have I had to do this any other time I've had them threaded. In the middle of all this the thread breaks and she is talking to her coworker in another language laughing I can only assume about what. As we're finishing up she makes a comment that I still cannot fathom. She says "Oh.. your skin is so dry and sensitive!" I have had my eyebrows threaded many times before this. She had cut my eyebrows multiple times when I looked in the mirror. I do not care in the slightest if you cut me as it is bound to happen but this woman clearly had no idea what she was doing and tried to dump the blame on me rather than her terrible technique. The establishment is very clean and inviting but I cannot say I would come back. The customer service aspect is definitely lacking in more ways than one. If you need a quick fix they will do a great job of shaping your brows .. at the cost of throwing blame unto you and multiple cuts across the skin. read more

I'm from new Orleans and get monthly brazillians for about $60+ over there. I frequnetly visit NY, but this summer I decided to spend it here for work instead of just my usual short visits. I ended up stayin with friends in Bushwick (of all places) and had to use Yelp for just about everything! I found this place while looking for the best brazillian wax in walking distance from me. No reviews- kinda scary- but i called and couldn't resist a $30-35 wax! I took my chance at being their first reviewer, and I'm so glad I did! I got lost so I was 15 mins late but she took me anyways because I'm obviously not from here. It's a clean place, set up like a salon, waxing room has a cabinet full of personal wax pots u can buy for 12$ to use each time u get waxed there, whch is very sanitary. She was super gentle and fast! Barely hurt at all aside from the fact I hadn't gotten one the whole time I've been here (2+ months)! She got every hair! I was so impressed that I decided to let her break my threading cherry fr $6 and I will never go back to waxing eyebrows again! I have tried this salon on a whim for a facial. I normally go to salons in Soho, but my skin needed a boost. OMG!!!! They give GREAT FACE!!!! I received many compliments on my glowing skin and the results lasted longer than the much pricier salons I used to go to. I decided to let them near my prized possession with a Brazilian. Salma is the BEST, hands down. I get my legs, a Brazilian and eyebrows waxed every month, and she is completely courteous, professional, gentle & relaxing. The vibe of the whole place is very comfortable and chill. It's very clean too. I have my own can of wax there to keep for return visits. Decided to try this place because it was raining and I did not feel like traveling all the way from BK to Harlem to my usual place. It was nice and quiet inside and the women were pleasant. I like my eyebrows but I just want to warn...ASK TO LOOK IN YHE MIRROR BETWEEN BROWS!...I told her I wanted to keep them thick and when we were almost finished she said that she was going to "add more arch". Now I already knew what this meant...thinner. As she touched the thread to my eyebrow I quickly asked her if I could look in the mirror first. salma, the woman who does the waxing and some of the threading (if you ask her to) is absolutely fantastic! i also went there randomly and was amazed at how gentle and thorough she was. you get your own personal can of wax (if you're doing anything near the bikini line) and the whole space is very clean and calm. she's also very good at sending reminders that you should come back (and you should go back when she tells you or it gets *really* painful:). seems to me that an appointment is usually necessary, but not too far in advance. read more

My partner went in to have her eyebrows done here and sat in the chair. Halfway through, she needed to take a break from threading because it hurt and her eyes were watering, which is pretty normal during a threading service in such a sensitive area. She wasn't offered a mirror to look at how her brows were going, so she stood up to look in the mirror in front of her chair. The woman doing her brows turned to the other women in the store and said "yeh kya nautak kar rahi hai" which roughly translates from Urdu/Hindi to "what kind of drama is she doing". My partner was in disbelief and just looked at her and said "I understand Urdu". None of the women in the store said *anything* in response - no apology or anything. My partner paid and left without finishing the services she had come in for (she wanted her upper lip done too). I don't understand why, as a small business owner, you would want to talk shit about your clients right in front of their faces. If being shit talked and ridiculed is your idea of a good customer service experience, this is the place for you!! read more

So glad to have found a good threading salon close to home. I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon to get my eyebrows threaded. I was immediately helped, out in less than 15 minutes and all for $6. My eyebrows looked great and my esthetician was happy to work with me to get my eyebrows looking the way that I wanted them to. I will for sure be back here regularly for all of my facial hair removal needs. May even consider for body waxing because the prices seem decent. read more

I have horribly thick eyebrows and people get them wrong A LOT but Sunita was very quick and listened to me well when I was telling her how I wanted them shaped. People have been complimenting my brows non stop. I brought my sister here and the other woman (forgot her name) did hers. I went there after reading these marvelous reviews, and was thoroughly impressed at the amazingness I experienced. I was late for my appointment, and when I came in she was still very pleasant. The Brazilian wax I got literally took like 10 mins, and it wasn't 10 mins of a half a** job. My privates were as smooth as a baby's bottom. Lily was AH MAZZZ BALLSSSS!!! I love this place! I have the thickest most unruly and unmanageable eyebrows lol. A lot of threading places will make them way too thin and irritate my skin... never happens here. These women always make them look amazing and give the perfect shape!
