Dunn returned my call the same day and gave me a very fair quote. Within two days they replaced the defective motors (not easy because of the custom housing they were in). Thankfully they were able to use the existing shades and now everything is as good as new. I suspect I will eventually replace the rest of my motorized shades and I will definitely call Dunn.

They did an excellent job installing exterior…read moreshades throughout my home, and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the products and their service. Living in the desert, our homes face harsh conditions from intense heat, cold, and strong, gusty winds--especially around large glass doors. I initially installed shades only in areas I thought needed the most protection. After seeing how well they performed, I added shades to all my major glass-door entrances and exits. The difference has been remarkable. My home stays cooler in summer, retains warmth in winter, and my glass doors now have extra protection from the harsh outdoor elements. To me, these shades are more than just a home upgrade--they're an investment in shielding my home, enhancing comfort, and potentially reducing heating and cooling costs over time. I also truly appreciate that Shades West stands behind their products and warranties. This isn't just a one-time installation that disappears afterward. Jacob and his team are professional, reliable, and available when you need them. If you live in the desert and have large glass doors exposed to the elements, I strongly suggest considering exterior shades. Interior shades can't offer the same level of protection from outside conditions. If you're thinking about investing in these outdoor shades, don't wait too long. I highly recommend Jacob and Shades West. You'll receive quality products, excellent craftsmanship, and a company that genuinely stands behind its work!

The owner herself came out. I told her I just mainly need direction. So she told me like where the TV should go as opposed to where it was etc. I'm in the middle of buying furniture and getting things put together and delivered. But when the "dust settles" she will come back out and help or give me direction on decorating shelves or tables. I have some Knick knacks that I want to display but I don't want it to be too much. She was also telling me that I guess wall paper is back. Which I never considered, actually thought that was a 70's thing. But now I'm thinking about doing one wall in the living room something fun. Throughout the last 2 months she checks in with me via email or I know I can contact her if I have a question about anything. Plus she's very affordable! I called around for quotes and a lot of places were 2-3 times as much as she charges just for a consultation. You won't be sorry checking Paper Dolls out!

Daniel came right on time, was polite, patient and extremely helpful in making recommendations, explaining things (after my multiple questions!), and giving me a timely estimate which was better than all the others. First he installed roller shades in the bedroom which ended up looking excellent. He did explain that there would be light gaps which there were, but that is the nature of roller shades. Quality was excellent and no problems with automation which was a huge priority for me. THEN, he installed natural fiber automated shades in my dining room and living room and they are beautiful. He came several times during installation to make sure all was well. Installer was a perfectionist too. I am very happy with the service and quality and highly recommend!
