I highly recommend Hannah Ross at Excell Home Care! A++++ Back in September I fractured my outer metatarsal on my left foot while stepping out of my sunk-in living room. This was truly the most bizarre injury I have ever had in my life! Instantly I had no pain, just numbness, but I also had no ability to control my foot other than just being able to point down, NOT up. (I believe they call this drop foot). I was unable to walk without assistance. Being completely honest, I was scared. With everything in me I would "will" my foot to move but yet I couldn't get it to respond. I saw an orthopedic doctor and felt no better after seeing him. He basically just fitted me for my boot and said to wear it for 6 weeks and if the movement in my foot didn't come back, he would fit me for a brace. I was like; you have got to be kidding! No encouragement at all! In the mean time I was also set up with Excell Home Care with Hannah Ross, a Physical Therapist. She was awesome! She was very professional yet compassionate and kind. She listened to the concerns I had about my injury and did a full assessment of my situation. She encouraged me with the fact that she has in fact seen this type of injury before and with physical therapy and time my foot should start to respond. (I realize for the record that Hannah is not a doctor or physician). Well she was right! Over an 8 week period of treatment with Hannah and doing my assigned exercises in between sessions, my foot did start to respond! It is considerably better but still has a little ways to go yet. (It's been just about 3 months since the date of injury). I highly recommend Hannah! I my opinion, she is the best! One of the sweetest souls I have ever met! read more

This is our first time with Excell Home Care. My Husband was sent home from a severe abdominal surgery. He had a approximate 4" diameter hole left open in his stomach in place of where his belly button use too be, over 1" deep,which required packing and dressing every 3rd. day. Do to him being allergic too the tape used the Doctor on call decided to remove the wound machine and a Nurse would be required too Pack and Redress the Wound daily. I didn't think anything good could happen on the date of 9/11, but I thank God for my Nurse Nehad who came for the first time on 9/11. I had a severe rash from the tape which she had some great suggestions too help relieve my very sever discomfort. She is very knowledgeable and Her skills are very Professional. She has dressed my wound better than anyone before Her, including the Hospital. To myself and my Wife we appreciate Her as She puts Her Patients first before her self even on Her days off She still finds time too come by and change my dressing out, amazing! No matter what time day or night if she is needed she is there for me and anyone who needs Her. Thank You Excell for Hiring such a incredible Nurse, Nehad. I have been ill for a few years now, and am currently bedridden with open ulcers. I am so fortunate and thankful that my insurance lets me use Excell Home Healthcare. I have wonderful caregivers such as Karen Bodestyne who usually takes care of my wound care. She is very competent. I have many wounds, but she doesn't rush through. Changing my wounds is quite a process. She is very careful applying the Wound VAC, and makes sure it is working correctly before she leaves me. As you can imagine, open wounds are quite painful. Karen is very gentle and tolerant. Because of the pain, I often need to ask her for a break, or time to reposition (I have arthritis and my joints get stiff). She suggests how I might reposition, and always asks if I'm comfortable and ready to continue (even though my new position often makes it more difficult for her.) Karen always makes sure everything is sterile, and is very professional. I really appreciate this. As I said before, I am very thankful I have Excell. My family couldn't have been happier with the professional care their nurses and staff provided for my brother Edwin before he unfortunately passed away this year. We previously had bad runs in the past with other home health services not living up to their promises, but we are so blessed Excell Home Care stepped in to help. When we needed help, nurses and staff would do everything in their power to help us out. Even if they couldn't directly help us with everything, they always provided us with helpful resources and direction. In particular, a nurse named Kevin Ladaban countlessly went above and beyond to make sure that my brother was always well taken care of. He was a nurse that became a close friend. Our family salutes him for the endless compassion and happiness he brought into the life of our loved one when he needed it most. A true hero and great representative of this company! I can not recommend this company except my worst enemy the case RN does not know how to to talk people that are intensely personal would like being asked by a total stranger how do you go to the bathroom while your sitting next to your komode in front of 2 coworkers whom you never met before not mention they will for their comfort disregard a Drs written order and change the number of days service is to be provide without getting a new as required by federal and state law.they change your schedule as the need without informing you and can't keep the appointment because they can't find a place to park on a Saturday which their schedule change not mine and just skip and leave a message saying somebody else will come but doesn't and all they can say is sorry and my COMPRESSION DRESSAGE HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED IN FOUR DAYS so if your healthcare provider uses them you Best Make You live in a house with a driveway or consider yourself warned excel needs to change their name to Bargain Basement Health Care read more

I am writing to express my serious concern regarding the lack of physical and occupational therapy services for my 91-year-old mother, who recently suffered a lumbar fracture. She was referred to your company by Kaiser Permanente for these services. A nurse conducted an assessment over a week ago, but since then, we have not received any visits from a physical therapist or an occupational therapist. I have called your office multiple times and each time I was assured that someone would contact us, but no one has. This delay in care is unacceptable and deeply concerning, especially given my mother's fragile condition. As a company in the business of helping people, I believe this situation reflects poorly on your commitment to patient care. I urge you to address this matter immediately and schedule the necessary therapy appointments for my mother without further delay. read more

Worst irresponsible company I have ever worked with in my life...I called them seven times in two days to arrange a nurse visit me at home to change my wound packing, as directed by Kaiser hospital. Twice they disconnected me after I waited on the phone for awhile to speak to someone. Five times I gave all of my information to someone on the phone (different person each time) and they promissed to call me back as soon as possible with a schedule of when an RN could come to my home.Not even once did I recieve a return call. After three days of waiting for their call back I went to Kaiser Hospital on my own to get the care I needed. This was a very seriously infected wound I was dealing with and Excell Home Care should be labeled incompetent and dangerous by any health care professionals. I was very impressed with the service that I received through Excell Home Care as I was recovering from Sciatica pain which made it difficult to move especially walking and sleeping. The Physical Therapist Jarrett Ennis helped me learn exercises that gradually helped me to become mobile with less pain. Jarrett was most patient, making sure that I was understanding what he was showing me and saw that I was doing the exercises correctly. Each visit Jarrett would review the exercises that I had done and then add new exercises explaining how they would help me. I felt that I had the best physical therapist with Jarrett Ennis who was most knowledgeable, professional and encouraging. read more

We had to use excell home care thru our insurance which was perfect. We have dogs and it being covid season we were a little questionable about. But we had nurse Kathleen Ramos...and she made us feel very comfortable always letting us know what times she would be coming and in between appts she would call to check up and see how we were. She would call when she was close so we were able to put the dogs away. She handled my dad with care and was really nice and knew what she was talking about Overall good experience thru and thru and thanks to kathleens help my dads legs are alot better. Recently I had a double Masectomy. I had 5 drains and for the first few days I had to have shots everyday to prevent blood clots. There was no way I could inject myself. Because of the location of the drains, I could reach them to drain them. Kaiser arranged for Excell Home Care to come out. I was fortunate to have Nurse Emily. She was a God send. They are Karen, Maria David, Miles and Jonnah. they give care that doesn't embarrass me as my diagnosis leaves little room for dignity.
