After just 3 lessons of 2 hour sessions for 3 days which totalled 6 hours at a very affordable price, I was able to gain the confidence and experience needed to become a successful as well as safe driver. The instructor always confirms your appointment. Arrives in a timely manner and provides you with the necessary knowledge as well as skill to prepare you for everyday life situations when it comes to driving. A childhood friend of mine referred me to Excell Driving School after a bad experience with a former instructor. Being I'm an older driver, 25, I was already a bit embarrassed about letting my permit expire after high school and just now working towards my license. When I say I learned more in one one-hour session with Veranique than I did in 3 prior sessions at a different driving school, I was ecstatic. With her patience, gentle spirit, and fun-loving guidance I was so excited to be finally be able to enjoy and learn how to drive. The day before my road test, Joel fine-tuned my left-turns and helped me better straighten into my parallel parking. We started our first session mid-August and I'd gotten my license by mid- September. The day I got my license on the first try, I was in awe. Almost wanted to cry. Excell Driving School is amazing... I was searching online for a driving school that was reasonable and i came across Excell. I was very hesitant to call because of a previous experience i had with another driving school but nevertheless i did and i'm so glad i called. Upon meeting my instructor Veronique, i knew that i was in good hands. She was very patient with me, explained everything and most importantly, she conversed with me as we drove. She ensured that i understood what i was doing. i struggled with turning but with her patience and consistency, i got better. After 6 hours of driving with her, i passed my road test a week ago. I would definitely recommended taking driving lessons from this driving school. My brother first took lessons with Joel about 4 years ago and I began taking lessons January of this year with Joel as well. He is a very patient and kind instructor. He does a really great job of building your confidence on the road and teaches you everything that you need to know for the road test. In addition, he respects COVID guidelines- he has worn a mask and used hand sanitizer during all of my lessons with him, which I find really important now during the pandemic. I want to take a moment and thank Joel for all instructions and help provided to My daughter teaching her to drive and taking her to test center. She had her license on Saturday. I Thank him for all the little tips and tricks he taught her. It was a pleasure working with Joel. During the month of August, when many agencies were still overbooked or closed, Joel was able to find a way to work with my daughter and have lessons, so that she got her permit despite the limitations of many DMV is at the time.
