I was informed that they would pick my son up early which I was told so the instructor could run through the road test etc. Needless to say, I was miss informed, my son was just picked up early to ride along with another driver and take his test early without any guidance, tips etc. When I called back to complain the owner did not have a care or concern. Basically it is what is, I'm out of $80 with piss poor service or communication. We are in a pandemic and this company is out here looking for a dollar and scamming parents/patrons. Here is the kicker the instruction knew he was wrong and tried to offer a free lesson and then suggested my son use someone else's car to try to take the dmv test today at his normal time which again is misleading. Don't ever use this business, I urge you to use caution coming from a single mom of four working two jobs in a pandemic smh.

When I initially started at Shift Above 2, my confidence level was basically zero due to frustrating and unsuccessful attempts at learning prior. After giving Mike background on my previous experiences and how i was now feeling about learning, he immediately established a comfortable learning environment by ensuring that the pace of the lessons were entirely dictated by my comfort level. In those first few sessions, I really appreciated that he was highly perceptive. ​Whenever I struggled with a maneuver or began to show signs of distress, he didn't push me. Instead, he would alter the current technique or introduce a different approach that was much better suited to my skill and confidence level. This adaptive teaching style was fundamental in preventing old feelings of frustration from resurfacing. Soon after, I found myself driving confidently in moderate traffic on main roads and performing K-turns and backing up with very little nervousness. My goal in the coming months is to prepare to pass my state road test with Mike's continued training.

They constantly keep their hands on your wheel instead of giving you the practice on your own that you need. They are extremely unprofessional and I don't recommend you waste your time or money.
