From start to finish, ASM used their expertise to replace my old water heater back in 2020. I recently reached out to them again to now replace my heating and air conditioning system. To be honest, after doing a few comparison calls with other companies, I chose to continue with ASM because the over all knowledge, honesty, and professionalism provide by Paul, Qasim and their team of technicians. When you seek cheap labor you end up spending more money in the end to revisit the same trouble areas... I would also note that their competitors also had 4+ star Yelp reviews too and I had used one of them in the past for prior A/C work so I am comparing ASM Mechanical to some good companies that are out there... though the job was a done for less than ASM Mechanical, I find that ASM Mechanical was more prepared. They are stocked with parts, clean upon arrival, took care of my home while taking apart my unit, well mannered, worked expeditiously, and left work area clean - no foot tracks or scuffs on the walls from dirty hands and boots. They gave me price options and service plans for different units and gave the best advice for what unit and size would be the best option for my size home. Overall, the process from start to finish was a breeze and I am happy to report that my AC/Heating unit and water heater are working great! I am told that I won't be needing to call them anytime soon, but if needed, they will be my 1st and only choice to call and one to recommend to all my family and friends.

Was recommended by a plumber who I used and liked very much. He answered my call and informed me…read morethat he was no longer in NYC. He recommended Tornquist because he used to work for them. I called and they mainly serviced the hotwater baseboard heating. Since the units were installed when the house was built, I updated the system instead of waiting for it to fail. They installed a new boiler/heater which started to make banging noises at random areas in the house when the heater was on. Even though it was purged for air several times the banging continued. The older gentleman came out one day and had me turn on the heater but of course, it didn't bang so he brushed me off. He spent less than 5 minutes and made no further effort to diagnose the issue. I called several more times and they just ignored me. Am I wrong to expect them to fix a problem with the heating system after I paid over $4000 for a new unit? I never had this problem with the old system.
