Online reviews are spot on with ASM Mechanical! Prior to reaching out to Paul and Qasim, I did…read moresome research on some of the best HVAC Techs in the New York/New Jersey Area - ASM's reviews were some of the best I've seen. From start to finish, ASM used their expertise to replace my old water heater back in 2020. I recently reached out to them again to now replace my heating and air conditioning system. To be honest, after doing a few comparison calls with other companies, I chose to continue with ASM because the over all knowledge, honesty, and professionalism provide by Paul, Qasim and their team of technicians. When you seek cheap labor you end up spending more money in the end to revisit the same trouble areas... I would also note that their competitors also had 4+ star Yelp reviews too and I had used one of them in the past for prior A/C work so I am comparing ASM Mechanical to some good companies that are out there... though the job was a done for less than ASM Mechanical, I find that ASM Mechanical was more prepared. They are stocked with parts, clean upon arrival, took care of my home while taking apart my unit, well mannered, worked expeditiously, and left work area clean - no foot tracks or scuffs on the walls from dirty hands and boots. They gave me price options and service plans for different units and gave the best advice for what unit and size would be the best option for my size home. Overall, the process from start to finish was a breeze and I am happy to report that my AC/Heating unit and water heater are working great! I am told that I won't be needing to call them anytime soon, but if needed, they will be my 1st and only choice to call and one to recommend to all my family and friends.

Within 4 hours the line was replaced and we were good to go. He even showed me the issue before he fixed it. Really nice guys. They are my go to guys for everything now. It's hard to find a good reliable contractor, and even confusing enough to hire an electrician you…read morecan trust. But my friend recommended Sebastian and Peter and they are great! Not only are they extremely skilled at what they do, (I've had 2 previous electricians look at plugs that are hooked to switches who could not figure out how to convert them to be on all the time, which Sebastian and Peter fixed in one minute), they are clean, they sweep the dust, wipe down walls and light fixtures that they touch and care about their work. The only thing they don't do, is patch walls, but you can easily find a contractor to fix that for you, besides they try their best to make small and the fewest possible number of holes. You are hiring electricians for their skill. And these two are highly skilled and I trust them. They are a bit busy, but once they commit to your job, they will get it done in the agreed time frame. The price is very reasonable and they are licensed. Developers or future developers, listen to my advice, Excel Wiring does new condo buildings and to save you the frustration of your tenants or new home owners complaints and threats, hiring the right electrician is essential from the beginning, since it will costs a lot of money to fix if you don't. If you go with Sebastian, you won't have any headaches that have to do with electricity down the road, I promise. Stick with them, they will do a great job and your new residents will appreciate it.

Let me get something off my chest: I know nothing about plumbing. Thank goodness for Matthew, the…read moreowner of Flo-Rite, who is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and all-around professional. Communication (5/5): I am a big fan of using Yelp to find businesses for a job or project and this experience reinforced that. Matthew was prompt to reply, answer my questions, and provide a COI upon request. Additionally, I've been told by other plumbing professionals and hobbyists that Grohe products (such as the one in my shower) can be finicky -- but Matthew assured me beforehand that he has worked with this brand before and understands the potential challenges with it. Job (5/5): Matthew arrived exactly on time for the scheduled appointment to replace the thermostatic valve in my Grohe shower. In less than an hour, he replaced the faulty valve, recalibrated the temperature handle, and successfully tested the shower temperature. Knowledgable (5/5): We thought our water shut off valve was behind our trash. Turns out that is just our hot water shut off. Matthew quickly found the cold water shut off under our sink. He went above and beyond and explained how the to properly turn off our water without breaking it, which was quite helpful to learn! Professional (5/5): Matthew was courteous and a true professional. This may sound basic, but I've had contractors and technicians make a mess in our apartment. Not this time -- Matthew wiped his feet on a towel after stepping out of the shower to not track water everywhere. Those little things really add up and make a difference to me. Value (5/5): We received some quotes from other plumbers which were outrageous. Matthew's quote was right in the middle compared to others and I feel it was of excellent value. After finishing he said he always wants the job to be done correctly and if something bad happens afterwards he works with the individual to make it right. I appreciate that confidence and workmanship in a business. TL;DR: I will be calling Matthew for all my plumbing needs in the city. He's a truly knowledgable professional and I recommend him to all!
