Not impressed. Very poor communication and treatment plan preparation. Not happy that I was sent here!

So, after a significant illness I needed serious rehab! I couldn't walk more than ten feet and that…read morewas with a walker! They do inpatient and outpatient and I needed inpatient. This place has a wonderful reputation for aggressive rehab, so I checked in and prepared to have therapists bust my butt! Speaking of reputation, the yearly rankings recently came out, and out of thousands of rehab places across the county, these fine folks came in at number fifty! Sweet! The Room- They are the second floor of a small hospital and there are only 25 rooms. They are more like mini suites. I had a refrigerator and a microwave for my own stuff. Dr. approved of course. Over 500 channels of Direct TV. Not that I much time to appreciate this stuff. Therapy- You come here to work! I generally had four sessions of rehab everyday Monday-Saturday. PT and OT every morning and every afternoon. Sunday was a light day with one session of PT. The therapists were uniformly awesome and listened to my concerns. I could see improvement every day! Nursing Staff- Extremely responsive! I'd press my call button and often waited less than a minute' I couldn't ask for more. Food- A step up from stereotypical hospital food. Yes, it's under seasoned for a lot of folks, especially salt. Lots and lots of choices. I loved the Chef Salad for dinner and had it often. See my pic. Very fresh! If I wanted, I could even have a Cheeseburger and Crinkle Cut fries for lunch! Results- I spent 19 days there. At the end I could walk several hundred feet unaided but still a bit wobbly. I'll finish up with Outpatient Therapy for about a month and I'll be back to normal. So I'm home now and Yelping again and I award these fine folks five stars!

Advent health never ceases to amaze me. Every interaction I have with them I am overcharged and…read morethen given an unannounced refund. My last visit with them I took my son for an x-ray. I had an order from a doctor. I have insurance. They wanted $276 upfront. I refused. I called my insurance. My insurance told me it should not cost me anything. I went back to the hospital where they then refused to see us unless I paid $50 upfront for their Protection. Ridiculous. I got the EOB in the mail that states clearly I should not have had to pay anything. Now I get to wait 45 days for them to give me my $50 back. Not a good place to do business. has bought everything in town and they clearly cannot run anything.

The emergency room I was taking there in an ambulance because I fell and they took good care of me…read more I was in and out of there really fast no complaint. The people were professional and courteous, and gave me everything I asked for.

-- Yelp Old Fart Review! -…read more Yup, I'm 72 and us older folks often need lots of tests. I have been using this hospital for about 12 years. I've reviewed them before, but this is an update focusing on their testing services! But wait you say, "I've been using one of those two big testing chains that seem to be everywhere." One of those is much closer to me, but I still go here for testing and here's why- 1. Easy Parking- Park in the big front entrance lot. If you are mobility impaired or just not feeling well, a volunteer in a golf cart will pick you up at your car and run you to the front door. 2. Wonderful Hours- 6AM-5PM M-F. 3. No Appointment Needed- I usually wait less than 10 minutes. Note that if you desire, the app will let you make an appointment. Pro Tip- A lot of folks have an order for a "fasting" blood test. So, they fast overnight and show up first thing in the morning. The morning rush ends around 10AM. 4. Solid App- Generally you get your results the same time your Dr. does. 5. Crazy Fast Results. Most folks get some type of blood test or urinalysis, and I've done both many times. My drive home is 7 miles and usually, while I'm driving, my app notifies me the results are available! That's incredible! As you can tell, I'm a huge fan of testing here. When you're going for these tests, you're already under some stress because something might be wrong. The last thing you need is more stress and I don't experience that here! 5 stars!
