I had just moved to Sebring from out of state, so I was worried about finding a good Doctor. I did…read moresome research and found Dr. Amina Chatha. She takes time to listen to know her patients and recommend the needed course of action. I needed medication that was way out of my budget. Yolanda in Dr Chathas office was able to secure my meds by checking various institutions for help. She was successful. I highly recommend Dr Chatha !!!!!

On arrival was told by the receptionist to pay $40 co-pay. My wife has already met her deductible for the year with the insurance. However we were told to pay the $40 or reschedule when my wife can pay the $40. We live in another town and had to drive a long distance for the medical appointment. On the previous visit my wife had paid the $40 co-pay. I think it's terrible when you know the patient has good insurance since Cigna has already paid over a $ million for my wife's 16 surgeries over the past year and a half. I'm a former teacher with excellent insurance for my wife. The fact that the doctor would not see the patient to discuss lab results in my opinion is despicable and not patient focused. Very disappointed that this doctor is more interested in the dollar than the patient.

I have been seeing Dr. Cindy Johnston for the past six years, and I can't recommend her highly…read moreenough. She is incredibly knowledgeable and is also very good at explaining complex medical issues in a way that I can understand. My autoimmune disease had been misdiagnosed for more than 12 years before I came to Dr. Johnston. She knew exactly which labs, imaging, and other testing to order, and she was able to correctly diagnose a condition that my previous doctors had been telling me was something completely different. Since then, she has worked with me to find the biologic that works best for me, which has made a real difference in my mobility and overall quality of life. Just as importantly, I've always felt that Dr. Johnston listens to me and takes my concerns seriously. When something changes or a new problem comes up, I know I can ask questions and get thoughtful guidance rather than feeling rushed or dismissed. Her staff are wonderful as well. Everyone in the office is kind and helpful, and they even remember my name when I come in, which makes the office feel especially welcoming. Dr. Johnston's medical assistant is always helpful and responsive, and the staff are exceptionally good at navigating the complicated process of getting biologic medications approved by insurance. They also know how to help patients find assistance programs when medications aren't covered or are otherwise unaffordable. Managing a chronic autoimmune disease can be complicated, and having a physician and office staff who are both knowledgeable and genuinely helpful makes an enormous difference. I'm very grateful to have found Dr. Johnston and her team.

The office personnel are caring and knowledgeable and the office is run very well. I couldn't be happier with my care there. They have a well run infusion and diagnostics lab also. I am very happy with this office and my care here.

My biggest complaint is people sitting in a small packed waiting room area, listening to their phones, talking on their phones. Put some signs up! PLEASE TURN YOUR PHONE ON SILENT-TAKE CALLS OUT IN THE HALLWAY-NO WATCHING/LISTENING TO VIDEOS IN THE WAITING AREA. When you have 3+ people all doing that, it's super bothersome!

My question is why this place has a high-ranking review. Here is my experience with this place: On…read moreSeptember 16, 2024, I was diagnosed with lupus and Sjögren's syndrome. This is what the nurse practitioner told me. By the way, I never met the doctor; I only see her for a second follow-up, three months apart, and then six months apart. The only thing she does for me is touch me and send me to do blood work--no treatment, nothing. Every time I go to a different doctor or even urgent care, they always ask me why I am not getting treated. My answer is always the same: I don't know; ask them. I'm not a doctor; they are the ones who diagnosed me. They are all baffled as to why I am not getting treated. They keep billing my insurance and taking my copay, using me as a piggy bank. I am super upset with the service I receive now that I have fired all my medical staff who were supposed to make me feel better. Now I have to start from scratch. Don't waste your time with this place; they will take your money and do nothing to get you better. (06/24/2025) Update: I am having huge trouble finding a rheumatologist in the Orlando area. I was willing to give this place another shot, but I demanded to see a doctor, not a nurse practitioner. The incompetent phone lady told me the doctor doesn't take my insurance; only the nurse practitioner is the one who takes my insurance. However, when I checked my insurance app, the doctor's name is in-network. Something very fraudulent is going on. How is it possible that this facility accepts my insurance, but the only one who can take my insurance is the nurse practitioner? Make it make sense; it sounds fraudulent and unethical. This rheumatologist should be ashamed of themselves for taking patients' money and charging our insurance.

She game so much info to process. I chose to do the blood work in their office to speed thong up. The blood technician was gorgeous and very kind. I was to distracted to care about the needles n blood gushing out. Didn't even feel the peck n pull. Phenomenal staff all over. Today was my last visit. The specialist gave me a long and very educated consultation and review of the lab tests results. I am so glad i don't have SLE! Yay!! I can go back to wearing bikinis n fishing!
