I have been a patient of Dr Joshi's for approximately 5 months. During that time I have seen him…read moreonly once! Each other time, I have been seen by his assistant. Well, recently, I had a second set of blood work performed. I called Joshi's office and said should I come in for a review of my blood work.. they responded, "If you want to." So I went to the office. At my return visit, it turns out that my TSH level was significantly elevated, which is not good. So they said we are sending your blood test results to your internist. Joshi's office wouldn't help me with the elevated TSH level issue. My internist called me today and said that I needed to come in immediately due to my blood test results. I was shocked. The internist said your blood results are completely bad. I wondered why Joshi's office didn't tell me this information. For instance, the blood work revealed a significantly high B 12 level. Joshi's office never told me that. My internist was kind enough to tell me to immediately stop the B 12 supplements which were prescribed by Joshi's office. Why didn't Joshi's office tell me that? There are many bad results from my blood work which were never discussed with my by Dr. Joshi's assistant when I was there. Now I have to go to my internist to have him explain the blood results. Why did I spend all that money, cash, at Joshi's office? I could have just stayed with my internist. Needless to say I am so disgusted with Joshi's office. My internist is so worried about me that he told me to come in immediately to his office. Why did I go to Joshi in the first place? I guess I was not a high income patient for his office so they just didn't call me about my blood test results. I will NEVER go back to that office again and feel that his office committed malpractice in the handling of my case.

They care nothing about their patients, I needed gout medication refill and didn't have insurance…read moreand they refused to refill the prescription due to the fact that they overcharged a thousand dollars that my insurance wouldn't cover now. They care about payment and if you having health issue and insurance issues you will have to send them money when they are overcharging excessive charges that can be deemed bad business practices. Go anywhere else. When I went they only allowed me to see doctor assistance never the actual dr and why I'm having gout at this early age they were unable to figure out other than guesses. Their medical knowledge is lacking for these excessive medical charges. They should be investigated for fraud!

So far we have had 2 follow up appointments and we have no reason to take our daughter anywhere else. Office is decorated very clean and with bright colors. They have what I would call a quarantine section for sick children in the waiting room so everyone doesn't share germs. They are open 365 days a year with different on call pediatricians from around the Tampa Bay Area. Their nurses and lab techs are very professional you can tell they like working with children.

They got us scheduled at the nearest location within 5 days which was very reasonable. The staff was friendly. The technician was very patient and professional. He explained everything to my 93 year old mom. Talked her through the process making sure she was doing well throughout the procedure. She did a great job staying still. I was very proud of her. It's not easy at that age. They do offer anesthesia for people who need it, but you need to tell them in advance. Mom didn't need it at all. Her primary physician got the results within a couple of days. If I had to say anything negative, it would be that they are very busy and the wait time was longer than usual. That's understandable. Other than that, everything went smoothly. During COVID-19, they have the seats in the waiting room spaced 6 feet apart. You must wear a mask before you enter. There's a sign posted on the door to wait before entering. The technician comes out immediately to greet and screen people before allowing them to enter. It was all very easy and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

The…read morefront desk clerk, Sarah, refused to schedule the ultrasound my doctor specifically prescribed, insisting instead that I should get a mammogram. Even after explaining that my doctor had instructed me to continue with ultrasound imaging, she dismissed my statement and made unsolicited comments about what I "should" be doing. I was already in pain and under time pressure, and her behavior was invasive, dismissive, and unprofessional. I ended up having to insist that she at least process my X-rays. Staff handling patient intake should respect physician orders and treat patients professionally -- this experience fell far short. The waiting room like all the tgh offices/hospital are so cold and spartan, must be like what prison is. Just beige, no plants, no comfy chairs, just basic and pathetic. TGH is so cheap when it comes to amenities. There are none. A tv on the wall is not an amenity. At least they did have free wifi but it sucked too. The only saving grace was the lovely x-ray tech, sadly I forgot her name. She was amazing, kind, attentive and oh so helpful since I do not get around quickly. She waited and went above and beyond and opened every door for me all the way out to the parking lot.
