This information would have been beneficial to me since I am trying to get estimates and could have scheduled someone else for the days meeting. Disappointing.

Rico was fantastic! I called another handyman service in my area and explained to them what was…read morewrong with my kitchen disposal as well as part of my back fence that needed to be repaired. They started giving me prices of new disposals and an estimate of how long it would take to replace. When I talked to Rico, he walked me through the steps I could try to fix the disposal myself. He told me if I wasn't able to or if I didn't want to, he would do it, but wanted to give me the chance to save a few bucks. It took me a few tries, but I was able to do it myself. I appreciated the help with the money saving and it really showed just how much integrity Rico has as he could have charged me to fix it or he could have sold me a whole new disposal, like the other company tried. When Rico arrived to fix my fence he took a look at it and told me I had two options, a cheaper option and a more expensive option. I told him I'd be happy to pay for the more expensive option if it meant my dogs wouldn't be able to escape again. He told me he was pretty sure he could make the cheaper option work and keep my dogs in my yard. He finished and had me come check and the fence is very sturdy - my two 70 lb German Shepherds wont be breaking through! And the best part? The final total for the job was 60% of the original "cheaper" estimate! I would have never known the difference and he could have easily charged me the full rate. Hector did a repair & paint job at my home. They finished today. The primary goal that I had was…read morethe repair and painting was secondary. The painting guys did really well and my carpet was not damaged and my furniture was ok and the furniture was moved and returned to the right place. The painters were nice and respectful and if you have a PAINT ONLY job they can do it. The repair was terrible. Really terrible. Really really terrible. They were planning to fix the drywall with shortcuts and when asked to have it fixed right, I was charged more to fix it right compared to the quoted price. I was ok to pay a little more if the job was done right and we told him that the main concern was to do the job right. I would have give a great review if it was done right even if it costed more. We agreed on a new price and the work continued. The texturing is really bad and doesn't match. When I told the crew that the texturing was terrible they said they weren't done yet and it would be better when they finished so we stayed out of their way so they can finish the work. They just painted over the bad texturing. Also, the answer on the quality of the repair is that my house is 20 years old and they don't make that texture anymore. And that I can see it because I know the repairs but others can't see it. This is not legitimate, texture doesn't have a time limit! And I will let you be the judge if you can see it or not. Overall I think I should've been told that the texture would not match and had the option to find alternatives before work stared. I was instead told they did this all the time, it would not be noticeable, and they can even build a whole house with the team that they have. The guys that did the texturing sprayed other walls and that did not get cleaned either before painting on top of it making a bigger mess. Although wiping down the walls before paint was in the quoted price and agreement, not a single wall was cleaned or wiped down proir to painting. The guys that did the texturing didn't really care about the work and kept going with the wrong texture.

They worked quick while we were away and even worked very fast after Hurricane Harvey hit. When we came back home, there were splashes all over the walls, grout lines were wider and skinnier in different parts of the house, tiles were not all cut even, and parts of the floor were unlevel. I called Pete and sent him pictures and he said he would come out to take a closer look and do some touch ups. Also, we found out that usually tile is laid under the baseboards and quarter rounds to make a cleaner look. This was not discussed before the floors were pulled up and as you can see from the pictures, it is not pretty. Pete called and then texted that he was going to come out and I am not sure if he ever did because there was no follow up. Please pay the extra money to find a flooring company that will do things correct.
