I bought two sink faucets and one for the spa tub with the idea I'd do it myself. Two months later - you guessed it - I had not. So to Yelp I went. I used Yelps search tool to narrow down my need and then sent a msg to 4 handy man company's. They all responded with in a few hrs. Diego w/ Vayeyo Installation called that evening. After I talked to the others, I went with Diego. He had good reviews and has Yelps guarantee. From the time I spoke with Diego, he had one of his installers at my house in an hour. The installer was professional and had my fixtures installed in about 2-1/2 hrs. Pricing was good. The installer had to go to Home Depot and get some water lines. There was no up charge for these items - he gave the that invoice. My next project will have a call to Diego and Vayeyo. read more

I accidentally fell in the attic this past weekend into one of the squares into the ceiling roof of a bedroom. I attempted to fix it myself but I think I made it worse so I had put out a bid for all the handyman in my local area. Some companies came high and I wasn't trying to dish out too much out of pocket. Diego offered his service at a much reasonable price than everyone else and he was able to come the next day to fix it with his helper. He's responsive and easy going kind of guy. I hired Vayeyo to install IKEA kitchen, bath and closet systems, along with custom wood doors and drawers. Not only did they damage over $2,000 worth of my custom panels, they did exceptionally poor work (doors and cabinets not level, self-closing doors not operating properly, wood frame for island built completely out of square and not plumb, which now must be rebuilt in order for countertops to be installed), and then refused to come back to complete the project. They also left the site an unbelievable mess. If you're looking for professionalism, excellent skills and work product, I suggest you look elsewhere. You will not get that with Vayeyo. read more

You should stop thinking you're the best and do not need to be accountable to the customers who hire you to do a job. I am not the first to complain. And I am sure I won't be the last. updated review, just to note, you said the shed would take 2 days along with the chimney work. you said you did it in 4 days.. it took 6 1/2 days to complete, to the two days you said it would take.. so I would t be proudness of saying it only took 4 days, get your story straight. anyway, I am not a satisfied customer that should be your first concern not whether you are right or wrong. I experienced a hand held vacuum charger explosion in my master bathroom and there was a fire with black smoke luckily my son heard the smoke alarm and applied a wet towel to extinguish the flames, I went to Yelp to find a painter and found Diego he and Andres came out and cleaned, primed, retextured and painted the damaged walls and at a very fair and competitive price, if I ever need a painter he's my go to guy. We hired Diego owner of Vayeyo Installation for a house remodeling. We agreed on a start and completion date as well as the initial pricing. We also agreed on the daily work hours and pay terms and signed a contract. Everything started well and the workers did good progress with demolition and wall and ceiling repairs. This good progress continued until more detail in the workmanship was required. As details become more needed we received a lot of push back and less willingness from Diego to perform additional tasks. Additional task are to be expected on a fixer upper, what's the problem? We had to make changes on the design because you pushed back on opening a wall and patching it back for example. You keep saying we delayed our own timeline. You know that's a lie. We are 3 weeks delayed because you send only few people to do a job of 6 people on most days. If we have to make adjustments to accommodate y'all your push backs well we pay you for it and move on. If you cannot handle a certain task tell your customer "no". Don't say "yes" and then don't finish or finish poorly. During the work at times only one worker was present, with Diego being absent without communication during crucial times (deadlines). When your workers make mistakes you tell them to correct it and not find excuses to blame others especially the owners for wanting to make their investment successful. Positive - the worker Jesus who worked alone most days and all day. Negative - Diego was advised several times to fill the garbage dumpster for an upcoming 2nd pickup. Nothing was done and the drive-way was left with a huge pile of trash and dead grass because no attention was paid to that. Diego took NO responsibility for this and left the site without cleaning up the mess. This mess included 60 inches double vanity with sink. 3 toilets and washing machine lying around in the backyard. - Installed GFCI's sockets in common areas instead of kitchen, bathroom, laundry - Poor workmanship. A lot of areas were left unfinished, uneven, obviously rushed, not started. The paint leftovers on the driveway and exterior walls were not cleaned. Many areas were left with unevenness (shelves, hardwares around the house) and dirty walls / floors as a result of sawing working being done inside the same time they paint. You had to be told to not paint and saw at the same time inside the house because the debris is affecting the paint quality. - Diego threatened he will have the city close up our house if we don't pay the remaining balance. Even so his own contract says that full payment is due upon final walkthrough and completion of the work. Very unprofessional!!! After the walkthrough and initial fixes our business partner had additional request for corrections. At this time we had paid everything but 1000$. Diego's response was "...use the 1000 dollars you have from me and solve the garbage problem yourself (not my responsibility)..." - Treat your customer with respect! - If you take on additional work from other clients, communicate the extra time needed. "No" and "cannot be done" does not belong in your profession. On the last day you promise to complete the job you were on your way to Austin and only Jesus was left to do everything in the house. Our parents and brothers who were visiting were all witnessed to this circus. - Original design was not followed because Diego pushed back a lot saying he cannot do this and that and if he does this much amount is needed. You are forgetting that you are working with people who came from decades of construction business. My wife also graduated with a degree in Interior Design. She has designed many brand-new houses that all sold successfully. You had the audacity to argue with her and discuss that it is not your fault why we are delayed. Your ignorance make you arrogant. In the end we are your client and we paid more than you asked. We regret hiring Diego Vayeyo Installations. We kept all communication and all photos as documentation to prove all this. We do not recommend this business. Add on: We paid you and we have all the receipt and text messages. It becomes defamatory if we are fabricating stories to injure a reputation. We have photos to show we are unsatisfied. What is your proof that our intention is to not pay the job. You received the money except for the $1000 you refuse to take because you would not take the garage and fix the backdoor and front door debris. You are unprofessional. That is an opinion. Everything in the review showed photos. We have witnesses when you did not show up on the supposedly last day of the job but instead went to Austin. read more

Scheduled an appointment at 9:30am the next day and the entire day off from work. The next day comes and I receive an email at 8:51am saying the worker won't make it. Keep in mind I sent my phone number to the Yelp person so they could've called or texted me as well. They won't be getting a cent from me. I needed help installing dampers in the ducts for my range hood. This would've been a difficult job for me. I had to purchase the dampers and tape, and they came two days later and did an awesome job. He also reattached the duct to the roof where it was unstable. The replacement part I bought did not fit well in the original ladder which caused the repair work far more complicated than standard installation. The two gentlemen tried many different ways and finally found a way that worked. They are professional, honest, hard working, and patient, and are willing and able to take a challenge.
