The way they handled me was totally unacceptable, rude, and irate! I have no experience with cars whatsoever so with that being said I had a hand full of questions prior to receiving the parts. I was told the ETA of the parts were coming on a Thursday, i called Thursday for an update. the parts weren't there yet (which wasn't an issue) & bc i called for an update i was addressed with a lot of hostility over the phone and resulted in me getting hung up on multiple times. I received a text Friday morning at work saying the parts arrived in the mist of them sending me a message my mom called for another update & a receipt for the purchase of the parts (because i never was asked did i want one) on my behalf because i was at work & didn't have the time. Next i receive another hostile call from the owner of the shop letting me know I can grab my parts & he will not be working on my car. I come to pick up the parts his demeanor is completely negative and rarely acknowledges me. he did not greet me or my mother he waved us away to get pass us to bring the parts out to us. It's not about what you say it's about how you speak to & handle a paying customer and the oddest part is at the beginning of this process he was very respectful receiving my deposit afterwards i dealt with a complete different person... I've never been yelled at by any owner of an establishment I've been in no matter how wrong i was & honestly if I didn't bring A MAN with me to pickup the parts I wouldn't have felt safe, the way I was treated.

They said it would take 3 days and cost close to $1150.00. $400 was to paint the cover. I asked if they had to paint it as I didn't care about the color. They said they had to paint it because it was plastic. A few days before the appointment I called to ask about the length of time it would take thinking that 3 days was a long time. The repairman said it would be 2-3. They had to ensure the color of the car matched the bumper cover. Again, I said that didn't matter to me but he said that is how they do things. He insisted that a 2-3 day estimate was different than a 3 day estimate. When I said 2 is not the same as 3, he told me to go somewhere else.

I disagreed but went ahead with it anyway because of no other choice. After waiting a week for it I picked it up and saw that the hood looked ok but, later on noticed when the sun was shining on it from a certain angle, that both sides of the car were covered in swirl marks from the buffing wheel. This is what I got for $400. I went elsewhere to have it corrected, spending more in the process.

I was able to call the lady and tell her that she didn't owe me anything because of their kindness . When I have gone in for paid jobs, they've always been professional and worked with me and the insurance company .

I was told I would be given a cash discount that did not happen. Took the car in for front end damage and cosmetically it looks ok but now I have to pay someone for a wheel alignment. It seems if they were putting my front end back together and charging me over my quoted amount they could have aligned the wheels. I can't say I need auto body shops alot but I will not recommend any business that has bad business practices. I read the reviews and chose this shop based off those reviews, but the reviews don't reflect the service I received. Very disappointed customer!!

The radiator was leaking and Miracle Auto Body was recommended by the Conrad's across the street from them when they could not do anything for the car. The car ended up needing a lot of work to replace the front end and the radiator. Miracle can be hard to find since it is a little shop tucked in behind other buildings on Detroit and the drive is off of Lakewood Ave. Just a little old school shop that has a small lot, but they do great work. Jim did a great job working with the claims rep for Progressive and coordinating the repair. Since it is a small shop they may not always answer the phone when you call, but they always got back to me with updates, pricing and where the process was. They were much better at keeping me apprised then Progressive was. While the car was in for the major repairs I also had them fix a rust spot and they priced out some other repairs; they were good about helping me to have the most important repairs done. With my schedule picking the car could have been challenging, but Miracle made it easy, they met me first thing in the morning with my car at the Lakewood Enterprise location and I drove back to the shop to finish the paperwork. The car looks incredible, the repairs are really well done. In addition they did a great job of cleaning up the interior of the car which was a really nice bonus. It is like I got a new car back from them. I would strongly recommend Miracle Auto Body as long as you can be a bit patient with the process of getting your car repaired. It is clear that they take pride in their work and it is great to support a local business.

Luckily the car was still drivable; after dealing with the insurance company I needed to get the bumper fixed, which was actually a pretty big job since it included a number of the modern sensors to warn of blind spots and cross traffic. I went to a couple of the better collision centers near me that were highly rated on Yelp. I ended up picking LJI because they had a great facility and really took charge and reassured me that I would be in good hands. The LJI in Beachwood (they also have a facility in Cleveland Heights) is located on Chagrin just East of I-271 in the same building as Choolaah. Once inside I was very impressed with how clean and modern the shop and the office are. The waiting room is very nice and features a small boutique. Once I arranged for them to get the claim from Progressive they handled everything including setting up the rental and let me know that they could get me in the next week. Dropping off the car was easy and the rental was there and ready to go. The estimate was that the car would be ready in about 1 week and they might send it to the Cleveland Heights shop. After a week I got a call letting me know that the car should be ready the next day and then a follow up call to let me know when the car was done. Picking up the car was also easy, the cost to me was only the deductible, minimal paperwork and of course turning in the rental. The repair job was excellent, the back of the car looks brand new, in addition they actually cleaned the car inside and out. Exemplary work and a great job of going above and beyond. I really appreciate how easy they made repairing my car, the staff is great, they communicated with me when they promised and delivered as promised. LJI is clearly one of the best auto collision centers and well worth using if you need auto body work done. I would highly recommend that you consider them.
