It's also time to start planting my Spring and Summer gardens so it was a good time to visit this place that I have heard about for years but never been to. Fort Worth is off my beaten path, but it sounded like it was going to be worth the trip, and it was. There is an ambiance about the place that puts you right at home. It's an old school vibe that takes you back to 1934 when Archie Sr. founded the place. They have a nursery and also a landscape division, so if you are not a do-it-yourself person, they can take care of things for you. When you park and enter in, the first thing that hits you sit he size of the place, it's huge! They have an amazing selection and it is accompanied by fantastic customer service. While…read morewe all know the drill at these stores (the stock is never the same) that's one of the things I like about it. At the same time, it can be a bit of a challenge. At least at this location, there aren't a million things cluttering the aisles so badly that you can't even walk through. The staff on the floor is always busy merchandising, but they will stop to help if you ask. The lines can get crazy, but they call in all the cashiers and usually get through the rush in a reasonable amount of time (not during the holidays, when it's naturally a little busier). The cashiers are friendly and efficient and this is one of my favorite place to shop for home decor and other things that I don't need. ;)

I'm not complaining about the people...I'm complaining about the stocking going on while the store is packed and those huge product bins in almost every aisle and path. Seems with the amount of Saturday business and even the registers being backed up to the furniture section, you can get the stock bins out of the way and to the back staging area. Clear the aisles for that amount of people WITH carts and children.

I have been sitting in my car for 20 minutes and there are no other vehicles for curbside pickup. I don't understand why they have curbside pickup if they take the customer in store pickups first and completely ignore the curbside pickup people. The purpose of curbside is so that customers can drive up and get their orders faster than going in the store and making the online purchase. therefore it baffles me that I AM STILL WAITING in my car waiting I still don't have my order 2each of one part number/ item. They just need to do away with curbside pickup wTF is wrong with these people here. And they only get one start because I'm required to give a star or o can't make a review which this location deserves none for their curbside service.
