I love this place. They had Emmolo merlot from Napa Valley. I have not seen this anywhere yet so I was stoke to see it here. I will come back for more! BTW they have a large selection of alcohol! Want cold beer, different liquor in bottles, sets and mini? It's a bit unorganized here but maybe you will find what your looking for. Even better it on the west side! read more

My favorite place. I tell the owner that if they sold stock or had a membership rewards program, I would definitely buy-in. If its not here, then it may not be on the island. They have a variety of liquors and alcohols that no other place on this island (Oahu) has and I haven't seen another place that comes close. read more

Ok, first the bad - the prices are generally much higher than you're going to find elsewhere for pretty much everything, and the organization of the store leaves much to be desired. I've seen worse organization, but I've definitely seen better. Some of their inventory is basically inaccessible from all the 'stuff' laying around and piled up in various places. Also, bring ear plugs if you're going to be lingering in the part of the store where they keep their hard liquor and mixers; their door 'buzzer' is LOUD and will blow your eardrums away ever time someone walks in or out of the store. Now for the good - they have one of the largest selections of alcohol available on the west side! Chances are if you can't find it here, you probably won't be able to find it outside of Honolulu or possibly even the island. When I'm looking for very specific brands because I'm trying to make a drink by a particular recipe, I just suck up the fact that I'm going to get soaked over the price and go here. Apparently, even if they don't have something they can have it shipped over from their other location downtown! I didn't realize this until I asked about a specific liquor yesterday and the woman working there let me know they didn't have it there, but has several bottles at their other store and could have one sent over. Good to know for future reference! And now, to throw together a fresh Mai Tai... read more

I've heard stories about this place for a couple years now, but never found myself in Ewa until recently. Took an impulse trip out here and, oh man, this place has damn near everything you could want. The jam pack bottles as close and as high as they can make it in their cramped space; sort of like an organized clutter. I love coming here (when I'm in Ewa) to just browse and see what I want to pick up next. Prices are a tad bit higher than normal, but some thing they stock are pretty hard to find elsewhere. I usually end up leaving with a bottle. My only complaint is that for a well-stocked liquor store, their workers have next to no knowledge about the stuff, so come in here with an idea of what you want and you'll be in heaven. Don't expect them to recommend anything. Would highly recommend any alcohol enthusiast to come out to the west side to check them out. read more

No denying they have one of the best selections on the west side that more than likely rivals that island-wide, but you will pay for it. Last I was in the shop, the owner was complaining about his rent, and just now as I cash out, the deposit required by HI that should be 5 cents rang up as 36 on a four pack. I asked, and was greeted with "Hawai'i is crazy." My response was that everywhere else it is only 5 cents, to which I was greeted with "look, I don't get paid for this. I just move boxes" as he ran the register. Selection is great. Customer service and service fees are suspect. read more

If you're looking for something close by and/or hard to find, then this is the place to go!! They have a huge variety to chose from and offer the unique items you won't find in other places. They fill every square inch of the place the best they can, so it can be a tight squeeze maneuvering though the isles. They are a bit pricey though. In my opinion, Safeway offers better prices hands down. read more

My bf likes to pretend that this is his pantry :p Seriously, the first time I walked in-my jaw dropped. This isn't your average liquor store or Bev Mo! Although the prices are a bit high-there is such a great variety of things which you won't find at Costco or Foodland. If you're a fan of horchata, try some Rumchata ;) We discovered this during a free tasting they offered while we were here. read more

This place is SUCH a hidden gem. I stumbled upon it when I was heading for ice cream in the shopping center and thought I'd kill some time browsing. Boy was I rewarded for some wasting time. Their selection is insane. Ewa Pantry is up to par with the pearl city liquor stores and the other huge one in ward warehouse. Granted, it's not the cleanest place (liquor and beer stacked and piled all around the space), but they have a broad selection at decent prices. Prices were about the same as pearl city, but its a better location for people in Kapolei or Ewa. People here are helpful, they may need to ask someone above them for help, but they don't hesitate to check for what you want. Great spot for those in Ewa or the nearby area to get their liquors, especially the harder to find types. So awesome! read more

Love that they have a wide selection of liquors. Hate that the workers are rude. The location is easy to find, the space is a bit cramped. The workers are more than willing to help you find what you need, but just by looking at the setup (hards on the left, wines/backs on the right) it's not too hard to find what you're looking for. i like the selection of liquors as im a wine gal so i always try something different. but, I went in there one day and never went back in again after i was treated with disrespect. i was looking for my debit card and the cashier snapped at me saying did you not see the sign?! & telling me i couldn't pay w my card because it was under their "so called" limit. i just felt that was really rude of her to cut me off like that. from then on, i make my bf go in & buy my liquor =/ read more

Looking for ANY type of alcohol... I bet you this store will have it! Walk in and you'll feel like your in alcohol heaven. All types of alcohol, the store is small and compact but they have everything organized in areas. From whiskey to wine, they all have their own little areas. Reasonable prices as well! read more

I dont even need to check in here to write a good review about this place !!! Whenever i go to Ewa beach this is the only store I go to !!! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They have the biggest alcohol selection I've ever seen on the west side of the island. They even have some really rare selections that I've never even seen before !!! I highly recommend this store to anybody who ventures into Ewa beach !! 5 stars !!! - Tron read more

This place ROCKS!!! I don't even know how many times I have driven by this place and only recently did I go in when I had some time to kill. This place is like a treasure cove completely full of liquor instead of gold dubloons. AWESOME. The shelves are literally overflowing with liquor, literally. They have so much booze and such a huge selection that every square inch of this store has some type of liquor on it. They have so many types that the aisles are stacked to the ceiling with it! It rocks!!! Really, if you cant find the type of liquor you're looking for anywhere else on the island, check this place out, they probably have it. Also, they are pretty reasonably priced, why by a bottle for $50 when you can get it for $40? Check this place out ASAP. I can't wait till I get to go back! read more

I live on the wesside & was searching for a bottle of scotch. On the higher end for my sons bday. I googled where to find liquor stores that sell scotch. I called the pantry, which is quite a drive from where I live, & spoke to an employee that assured me they have variety scotch. I did the footwork & the sales lady there helped me choose a very nice scotch bottle. Kudos to her & the Pantry. read more

Bf and I went here to purchase drinks for his friends Christmas presents. It's a good place to purchase alcoholic drinks because they have all kinds of selections. It was neat seeing the different designs of bottles on display. One bottle shaped like an assault rifle stood about 4 ft high, which of course was filled with some alcoholic drink..maybe tequila? Anyway, if you are on the west side, specifically Ewa Beach, come down here to buy your drinks. It beats going to Foodland. read more

My husband used to be a regular here every weekend. When I say every weekend, I mean LITERALLY. This place offers a huge selection of alcoholic beverages. It's clean, somewhat cramped, but the owners maintain it well. I remember the 2 Filipino ladies at the cash register, although my husband comes every weekend be forgot his wallet and wouldn't let him purchase anything. Then there is the Man (I assume the owner) Who remembered my husbands face and let's him buy what he wants despite having his wallet on him or not. Maybe its just because him and my husband always have a nice chat and became friends haha. Regardless, that man is nice and the store is a must have in a place like Ewa Beach. read more

i like craft beer and they have a lot of it....ewa pantry is the best of the best to having an alcohol selection on this over populated small island....if any one begs to differ please let me know so i can have more options....thanks in advance....the only bad thing is that hennessy is like $50....the NEX is a lot cheaper and the bottle is a bit bigger.....other than that, overall its the best, a lot to choose from when it comes to beer and hard liquor, cant say the same with wine...that part is hard to choose read more

Awesome selection, although the prices are consistently over other places (i.e. Longs). But again, you won't find this selection just anywhere. I've read quite a few reviews on here about the staff being rude and also following people around the store (watching for stealing). I can say that I have never experienced that personally, although you should probably expect that considering there are some shady dudes that occasionally pop in, hang out outside, at all hours of the day and night. People need to keep in mind that on the outside, Ewa is beautiful and clean, but this location is not far from shadyville where just last month there was a drive by shooting. So i'd recommend people have some patience when dealing with nosey clerks, they're in their right to watch over their inventory. It's nothing personal, show up enough times and you will be greeted with a smile and not a worrisome stare. read more

I was very surprised on what they have to offer in that little store. It might be packed but a great selection! I haven't been able to v fine DonQ rum here in Hawaii until this store! I was greeted when I walked in. They have the biggest selection of any alcoholic drink that I've ever seen. Point blank, I found a particular brand of Moscato that I've been on the hunt for for months! I went to a bar one night, they poured Saracco into my glass & I've never liked any other Moscato from that moment on. I stumbled upon it once upon a time at Aiea Times, but when I went back for it, they discontinued selling it. My mistake there. Anyway, my boyfriend was so sure they would have it here & they did. The price wasn't displayed on the bottle or shelf, but I really wasn't concerned about the price. I'm a really, really happy customer right now. Not to mention I've also found my Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans today too. So I feel like today is my lucky day :) read more

This review is in regard to single malts. Selection is great, but pricing seems to set based on the secondary market (in many cases, much higher than secondary). I found quite a few bottles I've been searching for and wanted to purchase, but unfortunately I left the store empty handed due to the inflated price. If budget is not a strong consideration, definitely check this place out. read more

It is amazing that just about everyone on the island knows about this place regardless if they live on this side of the Island. So I use it as a reference point when direction people to my house:) All the review are really the same, being that I do come to this location often, I am compelled to write a review. Huge selection of beers, wines, and spirits. I think some of their alcohol is overpriced, reason I dropped a star. Safeway seems to be a lot cheaper for some wines and whiskey. But if you do not feel like making two trips, Ewa Pantry is the place to go. The employees seem pretty friendly, I think they recognize me now- they do not trail me out of paranoia that I am going to pocket something , either that they got a new security system that allows them to stay behind the counter, ha. It is conveniently located near a handful of BYOB restaurants as well, so you can swing by and pick up a drink and have dinner while in the area. read more

I buy a lot of liquor here. A couple bottles a week. At least a few allocated bottles a month, which they over price (3x to 4x). They finally got some Elmer T Lee and Weller CYPB in and tried buying. Asked for price. They said bottles weren't for sale. Haven't ran into a liquor store that doesn't sell their liquor before. I've seen ridiculous mark ups on allocations, but just not selling? I can take my business and recommendations elsewhere. read more

Surprisingly good beer selection. However, I wonder how often they replenish their inventory. We bought a Belching Beaver Good Morning Beautiful and it was light on the carbonation when we opened it the same night we bought it. Still tasted good, but a little flat. read more

Finally, a place in this Ewa Beach strip mall, off Ft. Weaver and Kaimalie St., that is worth the visit. A hidden gem. Amazing selections! The place is packed to the rafters with a large variety of liquor, beer, wine, and alcohol-tainted juices; You would never guess from walking by the place. The women at the front counter don't really speak English well, but they do what they can to help. Prices are average, but I've gotten lucky a couple of times with random sale items. I would rather shop here than Foodland or Long's without a doubt. If you're a smoker, they also have a large variety of tobacco products and flavored cigars. Always a good time just perusing through the aisles. I just wish this place was a little bigger because you do get a feeling of claustrophobia if you are browsing too long. Or perhaps that is by design. Ha! read more

The owner doesn't mind ripping you off on the prices...esp. the cigars. EG...https://www.cigarscity.com/partagas-aniversario-170-robusto...This website sells the same cigar at 9.00 online while Ewa Pantry charged me an outrageous 18.00! I don't mind paying a bit more for convenience. But come on! Are you kidding? Heads up: The staff is helpful and friendly...it's not them I blame. It's the guy who sets the price. He's got a captured niche out there down Fr Weaver...and he certainly makes us pay for it. Just be fairly priced to your loyal local customers who support you, Ewa Pantry. Mahalo. read more

Came here after a few of my friends referred me to this place. First off this place has a huge selection of alcohol, reminds me of tamuras but without the fresh food. Went in there to buy some alcohol for New Years. Bought a bottle of crown maple, a bottle of moscato, and a bottle of Perrier Jouet. Opened all the alcohol on New Year's Eve starting with the Crown Maple and the Moscato. Then as midnight hit we opened up the Perrier Jouet champagne. I was expecting a pop of the cork when it opened but got nothing. Didn't think anything of it because I've never opened a bottle of champagne before. I thought the huge pop of the cork was only stuff seen in movies. I proceed to pour myself the first glass and taste it. Turned out to be sour and flat. I bought a bad bottle :(. For the price I paid I expected quality and got this. I was pretty bummed but I thought I could get a refund or at least an exchange the following day. Went in the following day and I was pretty worried because at the bottom of the receipt it says all sales final. I still wanted to try so I explained to the workers my situation. Turns out that this event has happened before. Someone else complained that they purchased a bad bottle as well. I mentioned to them that I didn't want a refund but an exchange for another bottle. They called someone on the phone and talked amongst themselves for a little bit. After the talking was done they gladly exchanged the bottle for another. After this very good experience I now know where I'm going to go for all my future alcohol purchases. read more

Horrifying customer service.. I spoke to the owner personally because I am a collector of fine wines and liquor.. I inquired about a couple of bottles they had on display in their glass show case but the girls that worked there said they don't know the price... So the next day I came back and asked to speak to him... His actual words are " we don't care if we don't make a sale because the bottle just makes money itself" ... I questioned him "really??! U are a retail shop, I am a collector, isn't that what your open for business for?? Don't you want to make a sale?? Why don't you know the price??" He replied " this item is hard to get so I have to do some research, but I really don't care if I sale it or not and I'm super busy so you should try Costco"... I paid for my 4 red wine bottles at $90 each and walked out.. read more
