This is what they call a meatball sandwich, not one drop of Mariana on It , total bs .

I order a meatball sandwich on garlic bread with sweet peppers to go and they didn't put any red sauce on iit.How the hell do you forget that.

Used to love this place , but lately they can't get an order right & the food(loosely used) is well below par. Been ordering for 10+ years & now the pizza either comes undercooked with the cheese shifted all over or if you say well down , it's overcooked and dry. Last few orders, each one was missing something or there was a problem. Staff & service is great & they're friendly, but the food quality & cooks should be at Pizza Hut or Applebees. Posting a picture of my "chicken parm sandwich " from last night. Wasn't even edible.

It was my first time here on Friday and let me tell you it was definitely not my last! The traditional pizza was out of this world! The food is Salerno's which is very tasty! Our service was great as well. I loved that they had a band as well. It is hard to find places these days with live bands. Only thing I would recommend is having a hosts stand in the front so people are crowding around the front confused on where to sit and avoid waiting in a line.

This place clearly caters to its locals and regulars. If you're here to pick up food itll be burnt but edible. At least theyre open late. Also pickup is in the back of where google tells you to go. The resturant isnt in the front for pickup you gotta go alllllll the way around. At least according to the wrinkly bag of bones bartender gestured me to do because the resturant is a separate entity. Either that or the front isnt the entrance for black people. Either way. Yeah come here and enjoy crispy food in all its forms. Burnt , over fried, and extra dried. At least the pickle and the to go boxes were fresh.

I can't believe I'm saying this but The fried calamari was some of the best I've had. Amanda was our server and was very very attentive and fast with our food and drink (on a super busy night none the less) excellent service. The music was great too! They had this DJ named Ronnie who kicked ass with the music selection (hope he's the in house DJ) I will be back! And with friends!!

My husband and I came here recently after leaving the Morton Arboretum, and we had a pretty good experience, but it was nothing special, in my opinion. When we walked in, I liked the ambiance. It was bright from having many windows, and I liked the mix of brick, stone, and wood details on the walls. I'm also a sucker for places that have garage-like windows that open all the way up. When we sat down, our waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed because she was one of two waitresses helping customers inside and outside. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded, but she didn't seem like she wanted to be there; she wasn't very personable. It took about 10 minutes for me to get my Blue Moon I ordered, which was a bit annoying, but I was very thankful I ordered water too because my husband and I got those right away. Foodwise, I ordered an Italian Sausage and Beef Combo Sandwich ($13) and my husband ordered a Cobb Salad ($15). My sandwich was okay, and it hit the spot because it took a while for it to come out, but the bread tasted a bit hard, so I ended up eating the meat inside by itself. The Italian sausage was cooked perfectly and was full of flavors and spices, but the beef was subpar and bland. I wish I had asked for au jus on the side because I think everything just needed to be drowned in gravy to make it a bit more flavorful. My husband's salad was okay, but I tried a piece of his chicken, and it had no seasonings on it. It was so plain and kinda gross, in my opinion. He also ordered his salad with caesar dressing instead of their homemade vinaigrette, but it didn't taste or look like caesar. He asked to make sure it was correct and our waitress confirmed that it was corrected. He didn't mind, but we both agreed it wasn't the best salad he ever ordered. Overall, I would give this place another try and order either pizza or a calzone because it seems that everyone raves about those more than anything else here.

Livin evviva loco! ! If you want your boots or shoes to start stomping and mouth to start drooling this is the place to go. As a Salerno chain, Evviva is a lively and classic bar , they always have live music and events going on (live bingo on Tuesday's at 6:00), just look up the website for for info, but that's besides the point, your mouth will water once you smell the original pizza! The chicken tenders will think they had the chickens clucking in the back tasting so fresh and crisp! I have come here many of times, this is definitely the place to hang with friends or family. My daughter loves this place! Just be prepared this place can get exciting with loud music and drinks pouring! Also I have the greatest waiter always so respectful and knowledgeable. On the last side note, the majority of the things you will order here is made from scratch, so that makes it original and authentic to me, and is not just a bar food place it's an original flavor. Chef's kiss !

Walking in, I gravitated towards the sign of specials, and then was guided to a table. Along with complimentary bread, I was treated to the sight of an owner (Mama Brasi, as one customer called her) who was visibly engaged in the lives of the clientele, both with repeat customers carrying out as well as with a family dining in, and their little girl who was a fan of salads. A hot bowl of minestrone arrived and added to the warm feelings. But it was the eggplant involtini special that was the star. Cooked and seasoned well, a healthy supply of sauce (I could see some sauce fiends wanting more, but I was content), and enough to take home a bit for lunch the next day. Early November was a little chilly sitting by the door, so keep that in mind for colder months, as there's not much they can do about that.

I ordered garlic bread and a 14" meat lovers pizza to go. They do have some seating inside, more seating than I expected. Initially, the garlic bread was okay. It has a more buttery taste than the other ones I've had. After I reheated it on my pizza stone, it became very tasty and crispy. The garlic bread I give it is 4.5. It tastes great if you use a pizza stone. The pizza on the other hand, I was underwhelmed. I ate it when it was fresh as well as on the pizza stone. The crust is bland and tasteless. The sauce was great. The toppings were okay. I ordered this ultra thin, crispy, and extra sauce. Pizza is like 2.5-3. Overall experience is a 3. This is a one and done for me.

We ordered dragon fries, baked ziti, and supreme pizza with the caramelized crust. Overall this is like a 3. 3 for me is a one and done. I wanted to try a new pizza place but this was a disappointment. -dragon fries 5 - this was good. The sauce is tangy with some spice. It's not super spicy but this would go well on wings. -baked ziti 2 - I had a lot of pasta and this one was one of the worst. The noodles tasted a bit too rubbery, it should be softer. The sauce had no flavor. -supreme pizza 3 - maybe I should have gotten the tavern style because the supercharged pizza tasted doughy and kind of bland. I even reheated it on my pizza stone at home and it does taste better with a crispier crust. However, it was still mid.

The staff were super welcoming, especially since it was our first time, and they made the experience feel personal! We went with a large pepperoni & jalapeño pizza. Flavor-wise, the sauce and cheese ratio was spot-on--tangy, cheesy, and really well balanced. The crust was the real star, perfectly crispy in the middle (which is rare to find and made every bite even better). If I had to nitpick, there were a ton of jalapeños but not quite enough pepperoni to balance it out. Still, the overall taste carried the pie, and it was definitely satisfying. When we arrived, we were asked if we had reservations. I hadn't made one since every time slot online showed as open. After some discussion among the hosts, I worried they might be fully booked. To my surprise, half the main dining room was empty. Yet we were led all the way to the very back -- a small enclosed room already hosting two large parties of ten -- and seated at a tiny table in the corner. My son and I were both facing walls, and the table barely fit two people. It felt unwelcoming and poorly considered, especially with so many open tables available in the main area. I kindly asked to be moved, and the host did accommodate us, but the initial seating left a bad first impression. For a restaurant with such great food, I expected a warmer, more thoughtful approach to seating guests. We ordered two medium pizzas (one to go), which were phenomenal as always. I got the chicken special, which was honestly a bit bland, but the carrot cake was really good. Overall, I'd give 3.5 stars if I could. I just don't think it was appropriate to seat three people at a tiny table in a small back room next to two large parties -- especially when the main dining room had plenty of open space.
