I brought my 2017 model s because I suspect my compressor went out. I only had a wait a week for an appointment versus Tesla was three weeks. I dropped it off and it was gonna be about $249 for the diagnostic fee. Sure enough Matt calls me within the hour to tell me the compressor indeed needed to be replaced. Out the door they quoted me 1800 bucks but they waived the diagnostic fee since it was very clear it went out so I ended up paying $1600 to get the issue fixed versus Tesla for the same procedure was gonna charge me $3200. It only took them three hours to get me back on the road and I was very pleased with the whole process. I will definitely be coming back to them versus Tesla. read more

Tesla Model S' have a bad rep with tires getting worn out prematurely. It's a noted issue with too much negative camber that cannot be adjusted without an aftermarket camber kit. I talked with Andre on the phone and he said that they are able to install the camber adjustment kit and lowering links and afterwards, they can do a 4 wheel alignment on their advanced alignment rack. The office was clean and airy. There are sofas in the corner for customers to wait for their cars. They also had water and sparkling water as well as coffee available while you wait. Andre explained what was involved, how long it would approximately take, and what the cost was. He was very transparent on everything and I even had a chance to take pictures of the installed parts. Their team can do everything from minor to major on Teslas and other EVs and after this experience, I know that should I have any service needs, I can come to EVs Republic and know that I will be taken care of. I brought my Model 3 in for what I was told was a control arm replacement and was charged $4,200. Afterward, I compared pricing with other providers, including Tesla, Inc. and Unplugged Performance, and found lower quotes for similar work -- around $1,900 in one case. I can't speak to differences in parts, labor, or scope of work, but based on my experience, I would recommend getting multiple quotes before proceeding with repairs at EV Republic. read more

My first impression for a diagnostic was good, as they got me in same day for the check up. It's just customer service in that the 'service advisor' Ryan that left me concerned.... I brought in my project Model S 70 for battery diagnostic + MPI ($250+gratis) to see what issues there are, so I can put together a DIY plan. Their Shopmonkey invoice/estimate was detailed enough to help me on my way that notated the speed encoder has coolant on it. That means the LDU should receive preventative maintenance such as a coolant delete install. The website advertises that Drive Unit Preventative Maintenance service (as of this review) so I wanted to try and schedule this first. I came by the office in the PM to again to ask about this, and Ryan stated that they only do LDU replacements, and the cost was $4200. He was very rude. I didn't push and left the office because I want to avoid trouble. I hope my next experience will be better. read more

Wish I would've known about this place sooner! They got me in and out for an issue that Tesla would've charged an insane amount for. And for a fraction of the cost! Anyone who lives near this shop is seriously lucky. The team is incredibly kind and professional, and the waiting room is clean, comfortable, and way better than Tesla's. They even have an Xbox to play while you wait. I was told the service would be quick, and it actually was (which is something Tesla never follows through on). OMG! I can't express how much appreciation I have for the whole EV republic Team and especially Vitaly. A little background of my situation first. I bought a 2021 Tesla Model Y via an online auto auction. My thought was I could buy one in somewhat of a decent shape for cheap and have a certified tesla auto body shop(the list on the tesla site) fix my vehicle. I was wrong, most of those on the certified list don't do big jobs like mine, and I was starting to think I might have bit off more than I can chew. For a few minutes I was almost ready to sell my new car for parts. My very last ditch effort call was to EV Republic and after a few calls and text messages/pictures, he made me feel I was in the right hands. Vitaly even arranged a tow truck for me. The vehicle not only had body damage but the air bags were deployed and there were a lot of warning and errors messages on the infotainment screen. When I came into the shop to drop off my vehicle, I saw at EV Republic Tesla's in worse shape than mine. I knew I was in the right place and was a super big sigh of relief not thinking about my almost paper weight purchase lol. I would literally give this place a 10 star rating if I could. Ill be taking my Model S and Y here from now on since no job seems to be to big for them. PS There labor rates are way cheaper then Tesla's maintenance guys. read more

10/14- UPDATE: it has now been a couple of months since we got the battery replaced for a third time. The battery is running without any issues this time. It was unfortunate that it took so long to get a functioning battery but grateful that EV showed integrity in making this right. read more

I interacted in April with Andre, a very friendly professional person. As for me, I'm completely new to Tesla - never had an EV before, purchased it from Tesla in Southern CA in March. The AC wasn't working. Andre let me know that there would be no need to have their company engage with the vehicle, because with less than 1000 miles, the dealership should address anything like that for free. (turns out my wife had turned off the AC within the computer anyway - I guess I need to learn better how the computer on Tesla works... so, now it is fine and we're learning more about how this Model Y operates, quite an amazing machine). So in short, my experience with Andre and his company was completely cordial and positive. read more

I made an appointment two days previously for an odd noise coming from my left front wheel and was informed that a free suspension inspection would be easy and no problem when I arrived at 9am. I arrived today and Matt was the service advisor. He informed me that a comprehensive inspection would be necessary instead at a cost of $250. So I agreed and waited. He said it shouldn't take long. So I waited. And waited, and waited. At 11:30, I inquired when the vehicle would be completed. At noon, a tech asked if I could drive the car to point out the noise. Which took less than 5 minutes. He thought it was the control arm but wasn't sure. At 1:30 I asked when the car would be done as I needed to pick up my son from school. I wait another 30 minutes and tell them I have to leave and I paid the $250 with estimate to be emailed to me. The emailed estimate for suspension repair is in excess of $2400 with recycled parts. I want 5 hours of my life back in waiting for this estimate as they clearly aren't organized and didn't provide confidence that they knew what they were doing. Upon leaving the car was still in service mode and service tag wasn't even removed. I gave an extra star because Matt was so nice but I observing the lack of efficiency and dubious ability, I'm taking my car somewhere else. read more

The Review is for Simon Yahushev with EcoDriveUSA. I normally like to purchase my cars directly from the owner as I get a sense for how well cared and maintained the car was along with it's history. Since I firmly believe we all need to do our part for the climate crises that is at our doorstep we've been a fully electric family for the past 8 years. We been transitioning to Telsa's now as the prices have been coming down. We saw an Ad for a Model S, that was in great condition even though it had a lot of miles on the car. When we got to the dealership, we were met with a friendly smile from Simon, who simply said, "let me get you the keys". After a quick test drive, we thought the car would be perfect for our family. We liked the fact that the Car had a "new or refurbished" battery that tested well and had been inspected by EcoDrive's partner company EVs Republic who are quite capable of all Tesla repairs. Before leaving we learned of a potential issue with the cars battery performance that seemed contradictory to earlier tests of the battery. It was decided to do some low level charging and see if this re-balancing would bring it back within the spec. promised at sale. True to his word, Simon received the car back and performed additional testing from EVs Republic to determine that the issue was something else that was causing the battery to be under performing. They had the battery cooling pumps replaced and the car is now working well. In this day and age, I've come to respect when people simply do as they promise and stand by their word. Simon and EcoDriveUSA have been extremely honest, respectful and are clearly looking at the big picture which is to build relationships and a brand. I've decided that EcoDriveUSA and EVs Republics will be our GoTo dealership and Tesla service center. read more

I got my Tesla fixed here a few months ago and the whole episode left me very suspicious of this business. I went to get my alignment fixed and windshield replaced. The windshield fix was good. They suggested that I replace the bushings even though the car didn't have much mileage and they outsourced my alignment fix. The alignment was not done well. They also mysteriously offered to replace one tire and they gave me $100. When I picked up the car, not only was it not ready, but the owner asked for a good review for $25!!! This place is very sketchy and I will never return. read more

Be careful with this place. I can only warn you. Classic bait and switch repair shop. Quoted a price of approx an $800 dollar repair over the phone twice before my wife drove down and dropped off her Model X for heater blowing cold air (PTC heater repair). Their plan worked, they got us down there from Reno, NV. Then when arrived and completed the diagnostic, Ryan called and advised they would not perform any work without an authorization for over $2200 due to a potential additional fuse repair. I communicated with Ryan and while he was not overly rude on the phone, he was discourteous, condescending and impatient, cutting me off several times while I asked questions. You know, overconfident that they were the only, or best deal in town. He continually stated they were offering a price that was so much cheaper than Tesla would offer. I received a quote for the repair from Tesla today for the same price! EV Republic is not cheaper. We'll stick with an official Tesla repair for the same price! EV Republic will lie to you and take advantage of you if you let them. We declined their repair, paid the $250 for the diagnostic and took our vehicle. Very displeased with this place. This place is amazing! I was on a business trip and I got the dreaded battery range limited light which means I couldn't charge past 30%. My 2013 Model S is out of warranty and I got an estimate from Tesla for 20k. He was able to fix my car for around 12k! Needed sensor repair on 2017 Tesla Model S. They completed repair in under 3 hours for 1/3 the cost Tesla had quoted. Also quoted bumper paint job (through an affiliate) for less than 1/2 what I could find anywhere else. Comfortable waiting area with coffee and cold drinks. My 2014 Model S gave me the BMS_w035 error, "battery heater - car may not restart". The earliest appointment I could get at Tesla was Tuesday of the following week. EVs Republic took my car on Thursday. They diagnosed it as a bad drive unit, typical for this year/make. They fixed my car by Tuesday, helping me to avoid getting a rental car for my work week, and they did it for half the price Tesla would have charged.
