They built a new masonry retaining wall, planted new shrubs, put down landscape gravel, reinstalled landscape border that was being forced out of ground by the weather. Kris and his team did a great job! After a couple of bids, I hired Evolving Landscapes to come out and work on a courtyard area that included extensive cleanout of an overgrown mess along with concrete removal, drainage, and arbor installation. Kris provided me with an initial design and after a review, I decided to go with a "secret garden" type landscape. Kris did a great job revising the plan, working with my ideas and providing suggestions. The completed project turned out beautifully, was completed on time and within a very reasonable price. It's been a year and I can wait to see what the area looks like as it continues to grow. Because the initial project went so well, we brought Evolving Landscaped back to do a larger scale project in our backyard around to the front of the yard. This included landscape design and installation, the building of a small pergola to be used for a hammock and movie projection screen and a drip irrigation system. The team did a fantastic job. I have a couple of smaller projects remaining that I will bring them back for again in addition to ongoing maintenance. Kris and his team put natural stone all along my garden areas, trimmed some bushes, and put in some edging. It looks great! They were courteous and professional. In April of 2019 I contacted Evolving Landscapes about replacing some sod that had been damaged during some foundation work I had done. Kris the owner came to my house almost immediately (I later learned he only lives about 10 minutes from me). He later emailed me a quote for replacing the sod and re-doing some landscape beds.. I told him to go ahead but that it needed to be done by July because I was scheduled for open-heart surgery in August. He agreed at the time and said it would not be a problem. He kept delaying when he could start and then wanted to wait until fall of 2019. When I told him that would not work he said he would schedule me for May of 2020. In the spring of 2020 he emailed me that he was going to delay starting to work for several months because of Covid19. He also stated that again would not be able to do my project until the fall of 2020 and I might want to find another landscape company. That is exactly what I did the first of May 2020, Another landscaper suggested we should visit some nurseries and look at the available plants., While visiting Suburban Lawn & Garden I was totally dumb founded to see Kris with Evolving Landscapes with a pickup load of plants. I don't know why this man chose to lie to me but I have decided to let others know how this man does business. I have the emails to prove this in case he chooses to deny it !!!!!!!! read more

Terrible service. After costing 7000.00 plus there was so little done. It was definitely not worth the money. Several plants died and to get to owner to return is impossible. No one on the crew could speak English which made it very awkward. When you would ask someone a question to the employees they would just look at you and nod their heads. I would NEVER EVER recommend this company to anyone, you do not get what you paid for. I had to replace several dead plants myself. read more
