They have been giving me the run around from that day to this one. I had to pull back up on them because I couldn't get nothing done by phone. The owner did get the car & checked out to swear he fixed the problem like I'm a fool. Got the car back & it's doing the same thing. I asked them to change cars or give me my money back. I am a fair and reasonable person. When I say stay away from this dealership, PLEASE LISTEN. My son bought a vehicle from this place over 4 months ago. He took them a check from his credit union. His salesperson was Martin Smart. To date, the credit union does not have the title and my son has not been able to get a tag. These people will LIE to make it seem as if the customer has somehow caused the problem. We have dated forms and documents along with numerous logged calls between us, them and the credit union. Today, February 28th, we had to have the Rockdale County Sherriff to meet us at the dealership to get a police report. Evolution Cars is being charged with theft by conversion. They have a history and pattern of messing up V.I.N.'s to buy time on getting titles that have holds on them. I'm sure there are some people with good experiences with them. But do you really want to roll the dice and do business with these people? Did I mentioned we have traveled back and forth from Jonesboro to Conyers numerous times to get this resolved to no avail. This was the worst experience ever.. I spoke to a salesman named Anthony back and forth for almost a month about a 2016 Volkswagen Passat SE, I did the application online and Anthony told me I had been approved and even told me how much my monthly payments would be. After driving 2 hours to get to the dealership and viewing the car the tires were BALD when I started the car for a test drive it said "Service oil immediately" all small things that they could fix.. okay the car was listed online for $11794. After test driving I told Anthony I was ready to do paperwork.. He went into his boss Norval's office who told me they would need to run my credit AGAIN.. after waiting and waiting two hours had passed and still no word on anything. So finally they told me I would need a cosigner so I call my dad and we get the ball rolling on that.. I went and sat in Norvals office because it was clear Anthony couldn't solve anything.. Norval called me pretty and asked why would my boyfriend let me come in his office alone, I told him because he has nothing to worry about... Norval later told me he would need my dads business license and a bunch of other junk if not I could get a Nissan Sentra, while being unbothered scrolling down his timeline on facebook.. like 3 hours later and nothing .. so I left there and went to an actual Volkswagen dealership where I was approved for a $15000 pre certified car with much less miles and with NO COSIGNER... I was in and out of there in under two hours.. overall my experience was horrible and it actually showed me how things ARENT supposed to go.. thanks for the lesson ! read more

The repairs on the truck we bought in August continue to mount. Most recently, the leaky sunroof had to be repaired for $475.00. Two weeks before that, the brakes and rotors were replaced and we were told something is wrong with the steering. Before that, the radiator was flushed and bad spark plugs replaced. Before that, 4 dry rotted tires were replaced. The mechanics have found a lot of rust and think the truck probably sat in salt water. And the tail gate let down one time at the dealership and hasn't worked since. Oh yes, we were total fools for buying this truck from Evolution. Oh yes, we should have had a mechanic look at the truck before we bought it. Be smarter than we were and go somewhere else! read more

We bought a 2015 Volkswagen CC from Evolution Cars,on February 25, 2020. The sales representative Shanta Washington was very kind. I would never recommend anyone to purchase from Evolution Cars, because of numerous reasons. We arrived around 4:30 p.m. We already knew the vehicle we were going to buy before we arrived. We had done a carfax check on the vehicle. We didn't get to leave the location until 8:50 p.m. We had to wait for the paperwork to be drawn up. We were told they would mail us a container of touch up paint because they could not touch up the few spots that night.They never mailed the paint. I even asked them via a phone call when the paint would be mailed. I was told in a couple of days. I got a text a week later reminding me to give a 5 star review. I asked about the paint in the text I was told would let me know tomorrow never did though. They also failed to mention a $699.00 fee for delivery when we negotiated a price. Once the contract was printed they pointed out the $ 699.00 fee. I do not think that was fair to spring on an additional $699.00 fee. I do not believe they paid that much of a fee when a truck load of vehicles were delivered to their location. Why should we have been charged the fee we didn't have the vehicle delivered? Also they overcharged us on the taxes collected for the county and state. We did not have to have the car financed so they did not have to wait to get paid in full. read more

Since the purchase of my vehicle from this dealership I have had nothing but issues with the customer service to the actual dependability of personnel. First off I had to pour an additional $800 into the vehicle which ended up having faulty brakes. Then a full month later I have yet to receive my license plates and registration. I contacted the dealership and they never filled the paperwork and forgot to call me weeks prior. I now have a truck that is unregistered and has no license plate with expired dealer plates. I have called several times to be forwarded to a voicemail that no one ever calls back. I purchased this vehicle while on vacation in Georgia so it is a difficult issue to get back to the dealership face-to-face. Worst car purchase experience ever. I wish I could give them 0 stars. I submitted my information online stating that I was interested in a particular vehicle. Within hours I received one voice message and two phone calls from two different people asking when could I come out and look at the car. Both of the reps (Derek and Noble - not sure of spelling) told me that the car was there and I told them what time I would arrive. When my husband and I got there, Derek took us out on the lot only to find out (surprisingly) that the vehicle wasn't there. He said he thought it was already sold or that one of the managers drove it home. He of course told us about another vehicle with a different price. He said that in the morning he would check with the manager that called me (Noble) to see if they could get another vehicle for the same price as what I wanted. When I finally spoke to him the next day, there was no price match, no apology, no anything. It was a waste of my time. I wish I had read the other reviews prior to driving all of the way out there. EPITOME OF RIP OFF DEALERSHIP !! Put a truck on their lot knowing did not pass emissions. Diana Shasta sold it to me. I only found out because I asked for a CARFAX report. She was very nice UNTIL after she made the sale. I purchased the truck on a Saturday was back Monday where she said oh just drive it more. Put 100 miles on it.Went back there and she was off an not one of them could help me. It took me a week of making daily phone calls and leaving voice mails until she finally called me back.I got the run around, oh we are short handed, the service dept is slow. It wasn't until I made my 3rd appearance when I sat down at her desk and said I would be there until they fixed my truck. Within one hour they serviced it and brought it back to me with a temporary tag. WOW! How interesting that all of a sudden they were able to assist me ! This dealership is worse than the bottom of the bottom . They are completely unprofessional. The GM Eugene King is very nasty and is not knowledgeable about ANYTHING. My wife was attempting to buy a vehicle , when we arrived they stated the owner's (Sonny) wife had it and was an hour away. The owner stated that they would complete the appraisal and paperwork and to give them time and everything would be taken care of . We literally went to eat came back and walked both lots and no one ever followed up after a total of four hours . After hunting a salesperson down they stated that they assumed my wife was not serious so they threw away the paperwork. That's when we encountered Eugene King Sales Manager , who was very rude and arrogant and started blaming his own employees. He stated the owner's wife was driving the vehicle and if my wife was not committed to the vehicle then she would not be able to see it. They assumed and discriminated against my wife and had piss poor customer service . I'd been in contact with Lakeisha over the past few days concerning a specific car I was interested in test driving and possibly buying. We confirmed yesterday and again this morning. I drove all the way from East Point, Ga to Conyers, Ga. only to find out the owner of Evolution Cars had the keys to the one car I wanted to test drive. There was no telling how long it would take for him to arrive. Lakeisha seemed to be a good salesperson, and this is no reflection on her. She seemed as confused as I was, but this is no way to run a business. The owner of Evolution Cars just cost me time, gas, and a road trip riddled with stop and go traffic. My wife review was taken down somehow about the lemon 2014 Mercedes Benz CLS 250 AMG. We paid $13,800 cash money. We having been calling back since we purchased the vehicle over one month ago. We actually have been calling back since the same night we got back to Alabama with the vehicle. We also popped up one Saturday, which was maybe three weeks later. We put the vehicle in the shop the next day after purchase and silicone was found holding something together, which was $700. The dealer told us it will cost us $3000 to break the motor down to see what was going on with it. We have asked to exchange the vehicle or get our money back. Luiz, the owner, told me that the car is suppose to sound like that after he checked it out. I'm not a fool! This Mercedes sounds like a luxury race car. The owner who said he wasn't the owner, Luiz, but other employees confirmed that he was, is giving us the run around. I'm highly upset and pissed to the max because we trusted in Evolution Cars, Luiz, for customer satisfaction. I have spent $14,500 on a vehicle that sounds a race car. Car fax did not show it. Yes I did my homework before I got it. Brought a Mercedes E 350 from here in which I was promised there was a 100 point inspection done on the car, LIE!!! exactly 12 days after pulling off the lot the steering lock went out and I was stranded at a gas station!!! I had the car towed to the Mercedes dealership in which I was told there was no way an inspection was performed on the car because it would have pick this issue up. I buy cars frequently sight unseen via internet and am very glad I came to see this one before committing. I asked for photos and videos of any damage I would see if I were there in person. The photos online looked good so I went ahead and negotiated the price with them, which was only a few hundred under their asking price. AFTER we negotiated, they sent 3 pictures of some paint blemishes, which I decided I could live with. Then I drove 8 hours each way to seal the deal, cashier's check in hand. When I arrived the interior driver's leather was worn to the point of needing to be replaced, carpet looked like it had been eaten by an animal, door weatherstripping looked eaten by same said animal, and the AC was not working. They said "oh, we didn't notice all that". Their prices are good, but I would thoroughly inspect anything you buy from them. My wife bought a vehicle from this dealership in November of 2018. The vehicle was used so typical wear and tear for a 7yr old is understandable, but when we showed up to test drive the specific vehicle, it needed to be jumped off. Vehicle was test driven and noticed the wiper blades could be changed. Darrick told us he would have the battery tested and change it out if necessary which i totally believed that it need be changed also including the wiper blades. Drove the car home and then tried to leave later and much to my dismay the car did not start. Called the company, told us mutiple times that someone would come to us and take care of the issue. 3 1/2 hrs and 4 phone calls later they finally showed up. Turns out the battery was the issue which they said would be changed if it was confirmed that was the problem! 2 weeks go by and notice the car was idling funny. avoid this dealership at all cost. the owner is full of s**t and the sales people are all in together with him. went to purchase a car from them on march 17, 2016 and first of all i had to wait almost 2 hours for lakeisha to show up. she lied stating she was on the way about 15 min out. lies. ended up purchasing an '14 camaro from them and the very next day we realized the air conditioner was not blowing on the driver side. call back to the dealership and spoke to sonny, (owner), he advised bring it back and he would have his mechanic to look at it. lies again... when i got there, magically no one was there to look at it. took it back a week later and sonny refused to even have them look at it. he stated you should have looked everything over when you bought the car. remind you, we did test drive it but the air was blowing, we just didn't realize it wasn't blowing as hard from the driver side. he was rushing lakeisha to finish up because he was ready to close on the day we purchased. she left and went to gas station and im assuming put less than $2 worth of gas in it because before i could get to gas station on west ave, the gas light was on. sonny was the most unprofessional, lying, sneaky salesman i've ever dealt with. we ended up paying almost $1200 to get the air fixed in this car. do not, i repeat do not, buy from them or you'll definitely regret it. read more
