I like the selection of the white wines they have
    Amanda S.

This was my second time going here. I brought my close friends from out of town to show them around the area. We walked in and we were seated n greeted right away. My friends who loves wine said they have good selection of wine and was happy with it. For me as Im not a huge wine person. I know I like mascato and rose. They had us sample some wine before we ordered. The lady who helped us was very friendly and did good service. The atmosphere was nice with a spectacular view of the waterfront. My friends from California told me they loved it that they would come back again.

A friend of ours has a membership to this winery, and invited us to spend a weekend afternoon taking in the late winter sun, sipping on flights of whites and nibbling away at choice charcuterie cuts, nuts and cheeses. If the wines themselves here don't make your cheeks as rosy as a rosé, their names will! Plenty of bawdy slang and double entendré slung about (although I preferred it when this place was called "Naked" winery), so leave your prudishness at home where it belongs! Name change not withstanding, they certainly haven't stripped anything away from the quality of service and the deliciousness of the wines themselves. I'm not into reds very much, so I stuck to the white flight and ended with a glass of the Evocativity rosé. Our server and hostess, whose name I have shamefully forgotten, was wonderful from start to finish, as is usual here, or at any Evoke tasting room. There are lots of great wineries and tasting rooms at the Vancouver Waterfront, but none of them are anywhere as much fun as Evoke! A visit here is guaranteed to be the best *bang* for your buck...among other things.

In town for a short 24 hours. Stayed next door . Saw this tasting room and was drawn in. Greeting warmly by Shelly. She was wonderful. I chose the black label flight. And a cheese plate for one. Loved each one. Had a glass of Tempranillo as well. It was a beautiful day and everyone was out and about. Shelly attended to everyone with a smile . Her knowledge of the wines was spot on. Can't wait to return.

Prosecco fairies .... making people tipsy ,loud and lairy ! The wines at Evoke will make you blush because ....well for me personally coz of tannins ! but the names ..gosh they are hilarious and evocative and the wines (most of them at least) stand up to their fun names . We picked the red wine tasting flight and I also got a glass of Cab sauv and some nibbles. The wines were good, snacks were blah but it was a gorgeous day and nothing was going to ruin it for me. Service was a tad bit overzealous but heyy if thats your vibe you would love it here. They had a good mix of red and white but not too much variety imo.

The most amazing hostess and (hopefully soon) next Tasting Room Manager? Sonika!

TL:DR - Sonika is amazing and made Evoke a ton of fun! Definitely check out their new Vancouver Waterfront location and say HI! I had been a member of Evoke for about 15 years and recently ended my membership earlearlier in the year. Mostly due to the fact I couldn't keep up with drinking all the wine I had been receiving but also some issues with orders being changed when they transitioned their Point-Of-Sale systems over. All that to say, my boyfriend and I visited this location, and we're greeted by the most amazing host ever, Sonika! Once we were greeted and sat, she was on top of our flights and a great conversationalist. We'd assumed she was the Tasting Room Manager, and when we asked she told us she wasn't, we were shocked! She made the visit amazing, and definitely needs to be concerned for that role in the future. The wine thethere is always good, and the vibe was fantastic. Thanks to Sonika being the fantastic host she was, I'm contemplating starting my membership up again because of our interactions with her.

Great waterfront spot for wine. Had the premium red and the normal red tasting. Pretty solid all in all - the cab and the barbera were stand outs. $15/ $25 for 5 tastes normal/ premium. The location and view make it 4 stars. There are tons of other wine tasting options once you're here too!

Walked in with a friend that's a member, both our first time going to this winery and the moment we walked in we were greeted, given menus and told to sit wherever. Once we took a seat and chose the flights we wanted, it was a solid 10-15 minutes before the bartender came up. We were given water but not asked if we had any questions, fine, luckily we didn't. After we got our flights, we were never spoken to again. No water refill, no asking if we needed anything or enjoyed the wine we chose, mind you we were planning on buying a few bottles, but because of the terrible customer service we opted not to. Finally, the bartender came up to us when we stood up to leave because we were done. I don't believe I will be returning.

Had a fun wine tasting with some really good wine. JC was attentive and great with the kids. Just ask for chocolate or fishies.

I was especially drawn in by the food menu that not only designates wine pairings as any vineyard restaurant should, but it also marks gluten free options clearly. Most things on the menu are gluten free or can be made that way. This was a huge plus for me. There is indoor and outdoor seating and looks like it can accommodate parties of any size. There are also couches near fire pits for cozy chatting as well. There is a flight/tasting option, wines by the glass, or by the bottle. Since we were having two glasses of the same wine, we were talked into a bottle. I appreciated the suggestion. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful. We had questions about menu items and everything was made super clear. Service wasn't speedy, but it was thorough. Our allergies and dietary needs were all met and cared for. We had the cascadia board to start (a little pricey) and shared the spring pea risotto with salmon (crispy skin, perfect cook, so delicious!) paired with the rose, it was a delicious meal. I wish we'd had room and time for dessert as they were all gluten free too. Overall, a great experience and meal.

The tasting room at the waterfront is charming and honey, and staff always make you feel very comfortable and appreciated and well served As a winery tasting room, you may purchase whole bottles of wine, you may purchase glasses of select bottle bottles, and you may purchase tasting flights. All of the above is subject to change on a weekly basis, of course. They also offer snacks, also on a rotating basis. Very highly recommended, it's a great way to kill most of an hour if you happen to be on the waterfront and want to do something a little different. They are in a cluster with three other tasting rooms, so you can compare and contrast. Occasionally, there are promotions, where if you visit some number of them there is some kind of reward. Go check it out!

The…read moreroom itself is cozy - there's a bar, there is an open seating area and then there is a kitchen/bar area that my GF describes as "the kitchen of her dreams" - that's where the catering magic happens If you like bold reds, Burnt Bridge is the place to be. Their whites are also exceptional, but vastly outnumbered by the reds. You can buy flights, you can buy glasses, you can fill growlers (!) or you can buy bottles/cases. I've been a member of their wine club for several years. As a club member, you get discounts on bottle and case purchases, you get several free tastings a month. On my last visit, my GF and I came in for a tasting, and got a snack while we were at it. I try to do this at least twice a month - being mindful that I'm likely to wind up walking out with more wine than I can drink in a month. I won't leave specific tasting notes on the wine, other than to note that it's all pretty exceptional. The snacks are variable, but always tasty. The pairings inevitably work well with the wines that are on the tasting flights on offer at any given time The staff is exceptionally friendly, and knowledgeable about both the wine and various events that are hosted at the facility. There are three or four events a month ranging from origami to trivia to karaoke... It all varies, it's all fun. Highly recommended!

What they brought to our table did not disappoint! Brie, breads, jams, nuts, dried fruits, grapes... THE WORKS! The wine flight they brought was nicely presented and decently poured. We did enjoy trying the local wines, always good to enjoy your locally grown grapes in a glass of vino! Price was super fair considering how large the charcuterie board was and the nice pours.
