Super clean and friendly place. Evinger is a wise older cheerful guy. Honestly best dentist experience I've had

I was referred to dr nagai by my regular dentist. Best experience, I've ever encountered with it comes to going to the dentist. All my concerns were addressed. And they went above and beyond to make me extremely comfortable.... well as comfortable as you be, when getting a root canal. I highly recommend Dr.Nagai and his staff. You will not be disappointed.

It was my first time coming to this dental office, which is located in a newer medical building attached to Sharp Hospital. Everything from social distance markings on the elevator floors to the receptionist wearing a mask, made me feel comfortable but I was still nervous as hell. Most people: "I don't like going to the dentist but Me: I have anxiety and a true fear of the dentist and needles, etc, that causes me to be nervous wreck the moment I even think about going, let alone actually sitting in the dentist chair. My ROOT CANAL experience. Dr. Sugita was AMAZING. I usually wear headphones with volume up so I can't hear anything. Dr. Sugita's calm voice and the methodical way he requested the next tool he needed was soothing and actually calmed me down. I'm not exaggerating this, but I DID NOT FEEL A THING! Not even the initial shot of novocaine, not the ones after. I usually feel everything and while the pain isn't much, it's the thought of the needle that gets me. The Doctor and his assistant were efficient and I was done in no time at all. In short, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. SUGITA

I did not get put to sleep and i had no pain my teeth were severely decayed bcuz they were under the gums and i couldn't reach them. Thankfully he got them out with what felt like 3 wiggles each side. From check in to check out i was done in 30 mins. I have no pain and no swelling. I was prescribed pain meds but didn't need them! So grateful for this office - they were all helpful and nice. I'll be honest he did not talk much, he's kinda in and out but I'm fine with that! He's a great oral surgeon

Dr. Stettler did not have good bedside manner with me. He was gruff and sarcastic. Does not like to answer questions. Spoke to me like I was stupid. During my actual surgery, they struggled to put the IV in my arm, leaving me with a lot of bruises on both arms. As I was being put under, it was chaos! No counting down calmly. The doctor was loud, lots of movement, he cut his hand on a sharp tooth of mine and was audibly upset about it. That's not the way someone should go under anesthesia for the first time! The procedure took much longer than expected but they did not provide any updates to my worried wife and mother both waiting in the lobby. When they finally were informed I was freaking out from the anesthesia when I woke up, they refused to let either of them come talk to me despite me begging as I knew it would calm me down. My family was wearing masks (covid) and were calm. There was no reason to refuse our request. When I finally did calm down, I was extremely nauseous. They didn't want to give me zofran and my mom actually had to call later in the day to push for them to prescribe it, as I was vomiting a lot when I got home. They did prescribe it, but it was confusing they didn't just do it to start. I did the follow-up and it was fine. I also would caution potential patients to read the business' response to reviews here. They teeter the line of HIPPA to save face, rather than accepting the feedback and providing more generalized responses to discuss privately. Before they say I wasn't a patient -- my legal name is Christine.

I was referred here by Visionary Dental Arts and I swung by the day of to have a quick convo and they were able to get me a consultation within the next 48 hours which was clutch because my insurance plan was changing and I needed a quick turnaround time. The receptionist were quick, funny, and informative. They have an automated system to send you text reminders of your appointment plus a welcome video after you leave the office. For my consultation, I was running late because my dog became ill and they were gracious and worked with finding another time for me to come in. I arrived later that day and waited no more than 5 minutes in a crowded waiting room to go in and get my head scanned. I was put into the patient room with scans of my head and I met with 3 people. The assistant, then the doctor, then the payment specialist. Each one was welcoming and didn't talk to me entirely in jargon and technical terms. They made it a point to use the medical terms and then combine it with more common terms. It was in a way that didnt make me feel inferior or not smart. I then went and made an appointment for two weeks from there. A few days later, I called and asked if I can move it up and they were more than happy to do so as they had a last minute opening for extraction. On they day of my appointment, I came in, they went over a few paperwork, took payment, and then whisked me into the room. They asked what type of music I wanted to be played and told them some music from my home country and they were bopping along with me and asking questions about my country and sharing stories about their own. I was 3 minutes into the song before next thing I knew, I was being walked out to the car. Don't remember much but they mentioned how fun I was and that they enjoyed spending time with me. Apparently I was hilarious and grooving even in my sleep. Many thanks for their patience and care they provided me.
