0 star experience at this location!. I've been a MetroPCS customer since 2014 and have dealt with…read moremany corporate and 3rd party authorized MetroPCS stores over the years with pretty good success. My dissatisfaction is with this specific store and is beyond a mere complaint, it's consumer fraud in my opinion. I purchased a phone at this location from Kiara, who has lied time after time making commitments which ended up being nothing but total fraud. I was told when porting a new number onto the new phone that I would not be double billed since I had just paid a month for the old phone and didn't want to be double billed during the port. That ended up being a total lie! She stated "Don't worry, you won't be double billed. Then 7 days later when I was billed for the two lines during the port she refused to respond to multiple emails with a written response. In fact, when I sent the 3rd email, I stated that if you don't respond to the specific issues in the email, I'll be filing a complaint with the NY Department of Consumer Protection, MetroPCS corporate and would also bring a lawsuit against the store and naming her her as a defendant. I never received a reply. When I called the store, which I did over a period of 2 months, the phone was never answered and the voice mail greeting was "This mailbox is full and cannot take any messages because the mailbox has not been setup" What business in this day and age operates like this?? When I brought this to the attention of MetroPCS, they confirmed that she was making false statements and asked me who owned the store which at the time I did not know. When attempts were made by my colleagues to visit the store, Kiara claimed she didn't know who the owner was, another total lie! Who doesn't know who their boss is? When attempts were made to take a picture of the business license as per New York Department of Consumer Affairs requires (A business license shall be displayed at the entrance or another conspicuous location where the licensed activities are performed) Kiara then turned to verbal and physical threats towards this individual who visited the store on my behalf. This was unprofessional and illegal. I now have a phone that I cannot obtain spare parts for nor obtain any tech support because of this stores refusal to provide what was asked for in multiple emails. I now have to take this matter to Senior management at Metro PCS, The New York Department of Consumer Affairs and Nord, the phone manufacturer for resolution. I strongly recommend that you deal with MetroPCS directly or through a corporate store in lieu of this place.

Watch out for the classic bait and switch this holiday season at this particular Apple Store!!…read more Bought three brand new iPhone 17's for my wife and kids for X-mass. Was some AppleCare One for $150 for the year that covers three devices. Pains for that and the store employee put it on my wife's phone (under her own Apple ID) and on each of my kids phones (both with their own Apple ID's). Woke up this morning to find both the kids phones no longer had Apple Care and each phone was asking if they wanted to renew their previous Apple care for $140 each phone! Called Apple and they acknowledged that was the case - that all three phones had Apple Care under my wife's new phone's Apple ID. But informed me that wasn't how it worked and that since the kids phones were signed in under their own Apple ID's the system kicked them off my wife's. So sell us Apple care when we leave the store for $150 for the year, tell us it covers three phones, put it on the three brand new phone you're walking out of the store with only to have two of those phone need to spend an additional $140 each to put back coverage that was already there! For a company that has approximately $40B of cash and cash reserves on hand you'd think they'd make good on their own employees mistakes....NOPE! Basically told me to F off and spend more money. Just for perspective I've spent well over $250k on Apple product, not to mention the over $3k spent on three brand new iPhone 17's and they couldn't apologize and say we understand we screwed up, we'll talk to our store's employees and tell them not to do that anymore and here's a gift card for you to apply to the Apple care on the two brand new thousand dollar plus phones you just bought from us! Pathetic! I've got an old iPhone 14Pro Max, older iMac, iPad and MacBook Pro - I will be looking at other options to replace those devices as they need replacing. IM DONE WITH APPLE #donewithapple

This is a large Verizon store by Manhattan standards right next to Grand Central, and it seems brand new, much like a lot of food court places inside Grand Central right next to it. You can eat really well around here, but they're not cheap because Grand Central has so many options when it comes to phones. And seriously, Verizon just keeps ripping me off. I stopped in here because of some issues with the phone and I could not believe how much more they wanted to charge me than the little repair stores to fix stuff. I'm not talking about twice as much. I'm talking about 7 times as much or something like that. It's beyond ridiculous. At least it's shiny and new and Verizon does have good service so I'll give them that. And they were pretty friendly despite the ridiculous prices they were quoting.

Terrible Customer Service, avoid Dante!…read more I went in today and they had a Manager named Dante. He was completely rude to me the whole time. I was standing a good 5 feet away from where he was sitting and he said: "do you mind sitting down, you're making me uncomfortable". He also made a joke about my ethnicity, out of nowhere. I complained to the General Manager about him and he just went to the stock room, to hide out. I simply left after that. I work near Grand Central so this location works best for me but after being a customer with multiple lines for 9 years I'm thinking about switching carriers after my experience at this Verizon Store. How can they possibly treat customers this way?
