I researched utility trailers for several months and ultimately decided on a Summit Trailer manufactured in Oregon. Living in Snohomish I was expecting to have to travel to Olympia to see a trailer in person. Checking the dealer locator on Summit's website I was surprised to find Kirshner Trailer Sales in Monroe. I contacted Kirshner and was told they had a 2021 5X10 on their lot. They gave me an "out the door" price on the phone. I put a deposit on the trailer and headed to their lot the following Saturday arriving shortly before they opened. Tim Helland assisted with the final paperwork for my trailer. Despite the fact that he was the only employee at the shop that early, and that other customers were ahead of me, he managed to take care of everything in a timely manner. I am looking for a trailer and I live in Monroe. I called and left a message. Did not hear back for a week so I called again. made appt to go in; arrived and man responded to my inquiry. I was told no trailers that meet my needs but getting more in the end of the week. I told him specifically what I was looking for, he showed me a picture of the trailer and I told him that was what I wanted. He promised he would call me when they came in. Took my horse trailer in for a safety inspection since Kirshner's was highly recommended. Took two weeks and I had to keep calling to check the status. When I did finally pick it up, they had changed the electrical plug, which was not requested, and the lights wouldn't work with my car. Once again, after another week, the electrical still hasn't been fixed and I had to take it somewhere else to get the job done. Very disappointing, not to mention expensive. Prob won't use them again and certainly can't recommend them to any horse trailer friends. read more

They quoted 2 hours but charged me 4 hours. Simple wiring job cost $700. I paid it with a smile, but will not use them again.

Have used before with great results but Kirshner is really Everything RV. I can only conclude a change in business philosophy as well. Same guys doing actual work but ownership now won't hesitate to gouge you in the thinnest of excuses. A $600 job ended up costing +2x with only half the originally quoted work done. When told they were too expensive and we would need to take future work elsewhere, they said it was completely fine with them. Net: Good work from the guys actually doing the work - just make sure whatever trust you had from your prior work with Kirshner is reset to zero before going back. read more

We had our boat trailer towed into Kirshner's after a bearing failure, even though it had been serviced elsewhere. Immediately, Scott, the EZ loader technician, got on the job to determine what needed to be done. Professional and knowledgable, Jason, the manager, and Scott worked with precision and perseverance until the repair and upgrade to the disc brakes were perfect. This shop is on our list of highly recommended businesses and we will definitely be returning, even with a 20 mile drive, for maintenance. read more

I had originally taken my 15 year-old utility trailer to Jason Wamsley's shop to have it repaired. He quoted me a very fair price to have all of the items repaired or replaced, and then suggested that I consider paying a few hundred dollars more for a new trailer. Jason had just toured a factory in Oregon (Great Northern Trailer Works) that was manufacturing utility trailers of higher quality. Thanks goodness I took Jason's advice and opted for the new trailer from Great Northern. Even though I bought the new tailer sight unseen, Jason was so enthusiastic and knowledgable about the quality of this new manufacturer I felt it was worth the risk. I picked up the trailer today and could not be happier with the superior quality of the trailer and the service ethic Jason and his staff of Kirshner Trailers and Everything RV. We took our Circle J horse trailer to Kirshner Trailer in January for a safety inspection. They identified a few items that we had them repair at that time. Subsequently, this weekend while we were packing for an upcoming trip we noticed a steel support beam that was rusted nearly through. Today we returned to Kirshner to show them the rust damage we found and to inquire as to why they did not spot this OBVIOUS rust damage, and they stated that "they only look for structural damage". Does a horse's hoof and leg need to fall through before it's labeled "structural damage"? Given the obvious nature of the rusted out steel support, we were shocked by their lack of accountablity for finding this damage during the inspection. We could NEVER in good conscience suggest this business to anyone. Highly disappointed in their responses. If Yelp allowed, they'd receive Zero Stars. read more
