She took the time to understand my skincare routine, concerns, and goals, then recommended adjustments where needed. I eventually purchased a package of three microneedling sessions with PRP. I was nervous because I have a low pain tolerance and, ironically, I'm not great with needles, but Alexa made the entire experience so comfortable. During every session, she was reassuring, calm, and gentle. She made sure I had calming gas to help me relax and continuously checked in to see if I was comfortable or needed a break. Alexa also explained everything she was doing, from adjusting the needle depth to targeting specific areas with PRP based on my skin concerns. I really appreciated how informed and cared for she made me feel throughout the entire process. Dr. Angell doesn't care about making money off of you. She cares about your aesthetic goals, and the best way for you to achieve them, even if it would mean a loss for her. I went in initially for a lip flip and forehead Botox, and she essentially said she could do it, but I'd get the best results from a lip lift, which is surgical and permanent. Every other clinic I went to told me that I'd need 4-8 units for the flip and 1.5-2 vials of filler to get the results I wanted, which is just an obvious cash grab. Dr. Angell and her staff actually listened to me, understood what I wanted, and didn't try to oversell me on anything. That was enough to cement that this is the place for me. There are so many other reasons to love this place. The decor is tasteful, it's always clean, the staff is SO nice, and my results are always perfect. I've had issues with Botox migrating in the past, and that has NEVER happened here. I've also never even bruised, even when I decided to dabble in lip filler. It also doesn't feel like you're in a sterile doctor's office (even though you technically are in a doctor's office), and I feel like I'm just talking to my friends. The last thing I'll touch on is my incredibly horrible needle fear. I know it's strange to get injectables when you have a full-blown panic attack getting your flu shot, but I'll tell you, these people take CARE of you. My first appointment, I was literally sweating, crying, and on the edge of passing out, but they literally held my hand throughout and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I know it seems silly, but I've never felt more supported in a medical setting. The laughing gas doesn't hurt either, but I'm so comfortable there now, I don't even need it and don't cry! So, it's a little bit of exposure therapy tossed in as a freebie! I know this is long, but I could seriously go on forever about how amazing this place is. If you try it out, you will end up with amazing NATURAL results. I'll close it off with a story. I seriously won a bet at a dinner party when a gal who was talking about celebrities with cosmetic enhancements said, "Everyone who gets stuff done is so obvious. I can tell immediately." I mentioned that work is only obvious when it's bad, but good work is something you'd never notice. I bet her that she couldn't tell who had gotten anything done at the table. She guessed the people with obvious work, but I wasn't on her list. She said, "You just look young because you have great skin." I literally had to show her my receipts to prove it. Part of me thinks she still doesn't believe it, but that's the kind of practitioner you want in your life.

So Monday 5/18 at 11am I realize that I have had it not having any beauty services available here in the SF Bay Area and EVERYTHING has been closed when it comes to " nonessential " businesses and I absolutely needed my botox. I decided to call Sacramento to find a Med spa, well to my surprise I found Everything Esthetics and the receptionist stated they have been open for the past 2 weeks (wtf!!!!) so i said I was desperate and needed their first availability , the receptionist said they had a cancellation at 3pm that day and I told her to book me and I beat-feet up there... omg I am so happy I made this decision to go, the receptionist was a doll, she was sweet and absolutely stunning like an angel and then there was the nurse who did my injections and it was seriously like I was in the room with my bestie, so comfortable, so chill and just the best Med spa nurse I have dealt with ( and I have dealt with a lot) The only thing is I can't remember their names, I was so excited like a child But I want them to know I am beyond appreciative and thankful that they got me in so quickly ... I am also appreciate that Sacramento opened up and I found normalcy In these absolutely disgusting times. I know this, the receptionist is a professional and so accommodating and helpful and Knows her business and the nurse is a rockstar when it comes to face injections... Microblading service by Shannon was amazing!!! As a blonde, I was very nervous to get my eyebrows microbladed because I didn't want them to look unnatural or too dark. I've also heard that it can be painful and can take awhile to heal... However, all of my concerns were met with nothing but a fantastic experience. My brows look incredible and the process of getting them done was a breeze! You can tell that Shannon is the best at what she does. She is quick, professional and super accommodating. Update: My lashes weren't washed beforehand with water, but Ashley mentioned they were cleaned with a solution instead. I personally prefer when lashes are washed with water, since that's how other salons I've visited have done it. It still felt a bit unhygienic to begin without a water cleanse. The silicone pads also weren't sticking at all for quite a while, likely because I had moisturizer on. Again, that's exactly why lash techs wet the lashes before starting , to prevent that issue. When the service was finished, the result looked okay at first, but because I felt so rushed, I didn't get a proper look. I genuinely felt like I needed to hurry out so Ashley could go about her day, she actually left the building before I did. Later, I noticed that one side of my lashes was curled higher than the other. When I reached out to express my concern, I was told it's "uncommon" to give a refund without seeing the service in person, even though I sent the requested photos. I found that response disappointing, especially since the prep and overall service were already below standard. I honestly don't understand how this place has five stars. Even if the treatment had turned out perfectly, my experience itself was maybe a three-star one at best. In my opinion the customer service and communication just weren't professional. I also wasn't talked through the process at all, which is I personally find unusual for a lash service where your eyes are closed the entire time. Regardless, I wanted to share my honest experience so others know what to expect. Lastly, if you're driving yourself, note that there's no mention of parking in the confirmation email, and you'll have to pay for public parking nearby. It would've been helpful if that information was disclosed beforehand, since it adds to the cost and inconvenience of the visit. Updated with photos I sent to Ashley before leaving this review. There was no "demanding" I simply wanted to see what the customer service would be like before posting. The photos were taken two to three days apart and show that the curl is losing shape even with normal face washing. My concern wasn't about getting a refund, it was about how the situation was handled. I booked expecting five star service and my treatment didn't reflect that. If I was truly money hungry I would've accepted the $10. I also ONLY asked for a partial refund! I didn't want to return because my experience wasn't good and I'd rather do this at home on my own since I haven't had much success getting it done by a professional. Which is why I reached out to Ashley giving the benefit of the doubt, thinking my experience might have been a rare occurrence. My review reflects my personal experience and opinion. Any statements about "extortion" , "demanding a refund" , "defame" made in response by the salon are incorrect. I communicated my concerns politely and professionally, simply to see if anything could be done before posting a review. I now feel threatened and distressed by the response I received. Information I shared privately and in confidence has been made public, and false statements have been written about me. I reached out in good faith to resolve my concern, not to harm anyone's business. I'm disappointed that my honest feedback has been met with personal attacks instead of professionalism.

I received Botox right before my birthday vacation, and the injection into my DLI instead of the intended DOA area left me with noticeable facial asymmetry and changes to my smile. This has been extremely upsetting, especially because the treatment was done right before an important birthday trip where I expected to feel confident and enjoy taking pictures. What disappointed me even more was how my concern was handled afterward. I called on day 12 after my treatment because I was worried about the changes in my face and wanted someone to evaluate what had happened. Instead of feeling heard or supported, I was turned away and told that it had not been two weeks yet. I understand that Botox can take approximately two weeks to fully settle, but when a long-term customer is reporting significant facial asymmetry and is distressed about the outcome, I expected more concern, communication, and willingness to evaluate the situation. I have trusted LaserAway with my treatments since 2023, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I went in expecting a cosmetic treatment and instead left dealing with facial asymmetry right before my birthday vacation. The lack of support when I reached out afterward made the experience even worse.
