First time facial here, and everything was perfect. The place is clean and tidy. I can feel that my face texture improved right after the facial! The whole facial lasts about 1 hour. Two masks were applied in total - a hydration mask and a charcoal mask. Lindsay's extraction skill is good that the pain is pretty bearable. I put it on in the shower, do a light scrub, let the steam activate the lactic acid, rinse and (WOW!) my skin is smooth and glowing! The scrub is gentle for my sensitive skin but keeps any breakouts at bay. I follow the scrub up with the Quench calming cream, which is light and smells clean with a hint of rose. It's the perfect base for makeup. I use the At Ease cleanser at night and it makes my skin feel so soft, while still removing makeup. Clearly, I'm a huge fan and I can't say enough good things. She takes the time to customize the treatments and products to your skin and it makes a world of difference. Long time customer, first time reviewer ;) I just LOVE the Glam Shack, I have been going to see Lindsay for years! The quality of service is so good that I used to go from Oakland all the way into SF to the Outer Richmond district to get waxed and I didn't even have a car. Lindsay does an amazing job of making casual and interesting conversation and she remembers personal things about you so that every time that you return it is like picking up where you left off with an old friend. I have had the pleasure of going to every Glam Shack location and each time the aesthetics are so perfect and the whole experience is such a treat from the lighting to the scents to the company. I have been using her Get Glam Professional Daydream Eye Restoration Complex and it is a soothing and restorative part of my skin routine. I also highly recommend her waxing services. I tried the soft wax and she also offers the harder wax that I have had at other places. I've been working with Lindsay remotely to treat my acne with the Face Reality program. I live in Pennsylvania so cannot make it in to see Lindsay in person. However, she has been incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. I update her with pictures of my face every couple of weeks and we tweak my routine accordingly. After a few months of treatment, I went from having pretty heavy acne coverage to only a few occasional breakouts that are continuously becoming less severe and occur less often. The main thing is, though, that my skin feels a lot better. Looks are one thing, but comfortable skin is the ultimate goal and Lindsay has helped me get that. I'm sure that being able to see Lindsay in person and get the facials would improve the process, but doing the treatment program long distance has been great for me as well!
