RCP Plumbing did an outstanding job for us. Everett and his team worked after hours (8pm-4am) to…read moremove a drain and supply line down for us that was not ADA complaint. This required them to cut open the walls and repair them once everything was moved. They were professional, clean, and went above and beyond by later coming back to finish some molding we didn't have ready, without charging extra. Highly recommend RCP Plumbing for their reliability and quality work!

I searched the great Google for a well rated Plumbing Service in my area and found RCP Plumbing. I reached out via phone and got an immediate response. I received a quote via email that was very professional. I got a text and email confirmation of my scheduled time. Mr. Rice came out the next day. They arrived on time. They completed the work without any issues and made sure the faucet worked to specifications. I was invoiced and was able to pay electronically through the invoice. Very Professional.

I had seen a billboard advertisement and called united installers plumbing to fix a leak in the…read moreceiling. They very quick to send two plumbers promptly. They sent two plumbers and one called himself a senior...they both looked at the leak and said that it was completely dry and they couldn't find a leak...becoz the upstairs bathroom sits right above where the leak was he said it could have been due to water running down the shower to the floor and since no one was using the upstairs shower anymore the problem must have fixed itself...and i need to caulk the sides of the tub to ensure there was no leak in the future... He never cut open the ceiling where the leak was and pls note it was not a small one and was still looking wet when they came and went but it was so high up that I couldn't just touch it and see....the company charged me 200 USD for the visit and the problem apparently didn't exist.,...in all this my mistake was that I didn't climb up the ladder to investigate while they were still there. Later in the week I asked my husband to climb up the ladder and look/feel the leak one more time before i called someone to patch up the ceiling ( there was a small whole the size of a baby's palm from all the prodding) and Lo and behold, it was still wet...there was no way a seasoned plumber could have missed that....I was so frustrated. The senior plumber, while he was there, all the while kept discussing his parallel business as a contractor and why I should hire him to renovate the bathroom. After a couple of days I called another plumber to fix a gas line and also showed him the leak he immediately diagnosed the problem as a pin hole leak( it was extremely extremely small ) and charged me 275 to fix it. I logged a complaint with Laura of United Installers plumbing that their Technician's very not professional( for trying to upsell me bathroom reno) and lousy at what they did....she promised I will get my money back but she never sent me the check after repeated follow ups. Every time there was some excuse or the other.. I would request all future customers to be vary of the quality of technicians they send. Pls don't waste your money on these good for nothing plumbers. I have already let me neighbors and friends know not hire them and I'll be sure to log a complaint with BBB as well. Thanks Katy

Communication - I met Jay first through Thumbtack and from all the offers I received he was the one person who tried to understand what I need without giving me the let me come then I will tell you. I sent him pictures when I could not explain well and he was and is attentive and prompt. Service- he came on time fixed my issues. First time, it was easier than he thought and second time more complex but he resolved both for me. And, didn't leave a mess. Price- Service and communication are not the only reason why I gave him a call back it was also his reasonable price. He will give a fair estimate and will take from there. Now like any job if it's more complex there may be a price adjustment but he is always reasonable. Most importantly he doesn't bullshit you because you are not handy. A knowledgeable, trustworthy handyman for a reasonable price that cleans after himself - I definitely recommend!

If you want high quality, detailed work, with a nice finish, this is NOT the guy…read more The job was to enlarge an interior crawl space opening and replace the existing frame/door with an insulated door and weather stripping. It was $375 plus an additional $125 for insulating materials/labor. For this price I was expecting a completely finished, well installed product, with quality materials and remaining mess/job materials to be cleaned up. The first concern was that a small drop blanket was used in front of the door. But, knowing that you are cutting into concrete block and the subsequent dust that permeates the air, this would hardly be sufficient. The smoke alarms in the entire house went off due to the amount of dust that was created and not blocked appropriately to keep from getting all over the house. When the job was finished and I pointed out the materials and dust collected around the work site, including a nail left behind, I was informed that he "didn't have a shop vac" and "doesn't normally clean up building materials". The additional money spent on insulation labor and materials was used on; narrow stick-on weather stripping that was falling down due to half the adhesive part left to open air, which then stuck to the back of the door, causing it to pull and fall when opened; and Styrofoam board, screwed into the back of the door, partly held on with a busted part of a ruler, and not secured at all on one side. I was told this was "quality work" and that he had technically used what we had agreed on. The front trim/door is marked up and, the trim which he reused from the previous door is too short on one side. Instead of informing me, and agreeing to replace the trim, he re-installed it and said "nothing I can do about that". Additionally, the front latch does not line up and cannot be closed properly. When I expressed my displeasure, and pointed out various items, I was told I technically got what we "agreed" upon. I went ahead and paid the full amount to end the interaction as it was evening already. The next morning, I notified him that I was still displeased and, that the door is not able to function as a proper door, nor is the price for the additional insulating materials and poor labor he used justifiable. He then told me I had flown into a "rage" after asking for a small discount ($40-$50) so I could get necessary repairs. He refused. Really disappointed. I was hoping to find a long-term handy man but all the great reviews really let me down. I guess this is NOT his "type" of work. Buyer Beware.
