Came back approximately 6 months later. Man what happened? Maybe change in management or cooks? The pho looks different and the beef slices are so much worse. See pictures. The broth I think tastes the same so that's good. However, I noticed that the beef slices were so much tougher and dryer now. Previously, the slices were thin and slightly rare when coming out so they weren't over done. Now, the cuts are thick and chunky and much tougher to chew. Interestingly, they just dump the cilantro into the soup directly rather than have it on the side for you to garnish. They still provide a sizable pieces of tripe, which I like. The tendon is smaller and not as big chunks as before. Sadly, I left a bit disappointed. I might try again in another couple of months to see if they return to the previous level of quality. read more

Everyday Vietnamese Cuisine - Combination pho from the update in 2026 - Vietnamese Near Me - Chico, California

The food is extremely affordable and so fast and fresh. I'd said better priced than pho bonsa. Not as much meat but when they are closed at such odd times this place will always have ur back. Service was impeccable, she was kind and kept checking in. Even let me bring in my electric scooter. As well as when I wanted to pack my noodles and soup separate she said she would do it herself!! The atmosphere is a bit stuffy but it's homey and definitely a nice place to wind down and just enjoy yourself. Also their little server robot is awesome. read more

Don't eat here. My husband and I got food poison for 4 days. My little toddler has it worst more than a week and half. Also flys in the restroom. So gross. Lastly found a small piece of hair in my soup. Not sure it's from the beef tripe or the old man cooking in the back. With no hair net probably. I ask for scissors and the handles so nasty. I need scissors to cut noodles for my daughter. Regret eatting dirty or spoil food 'made me constantly go to the bathroom every 2/3 hours. Now my poor baby still suffering. That why we probably all got sick from eatting there. read more

Lots of Vietnamese options in town and this is the last place you want to be. I mean it's edible? If you're hungry at 9:00PM just go to Rice Bowl Everyday Vietnamese Cuisine has been up and running for so long you'd think they were running a money laundering scheme because their food is NOT paying those bills Ordered the Pork "Banh Mi" which to their interpretation is a French roll you can buy from Walmart, a handlful of days old Romain lettuce, some jalapeños and slices of sad pork belly. No sign of Vietnam here Ordered the Grilled Pork + Chicken Rice Plate, I'll give them credit that the protein is cooked okay. Seasoned with soy sauce lightly, a very sad Com Thit Heo with bell peppers. Vegetarian Eggroll comes with the plate, a greasy oily lettuce experience awaits you I've grown to love the town of Chico. And as a Vietnamese American from the Bay, I would hate for anyone driving down Nord Avenue to have their first Vietnamese Food experience here. Their service is friendly, but the food is not it read more

Pho isn't bad, but the Bahn Mi is a failure.. it misses the mark badly. A great Bahn Mi needs some critical things: Light-crispy baguette style roll Pickled radish/carrot slaw with a little cilantro for brightness and jalapeno slices Savory protein with Vietnamese flavors - lemongrass, fish sauce, chili.. Spread - doesn't have to be traditional pate' but a lime & Magi season mayo is a good start, even a jalapeno sauce is great. I love bold flavors and like to support local businesses, sadly the sandwich here can't be recommended yet. I hope they can pivot, maybe partner with a local French bakery and take advantage of all the great fresh ingredients Chico has to turn this around. Good luck 'Everyday'! (As hot weather approaches, a Bahn Mi & Cup of pho broth would be a killer lunch combo, just saying ) read more

Yea - don't worry about trying this place. I've read the reviews and thought I'd still give it a try, buttt - I didn't listen. I really wanted pho with tripe in it so I called and ordered the combination pho. The lady who answered was very nice- said it'll take about 10-15mins for the order. Went to pick it up, got home, and realized I ordered the wrong one . The pho I ordered had chicken, beef and shrimp in it ... I quickly checked the menu and read the one I should've ordered was the "Special Beef Combination pho" if I wanted tripe Ok- that's fine . That was my fault for not reading the menu and ordering the wrong one... Got my bowl ready and when I went to smell the broth, it didn't give me that PHO smell.. I then tried the broth anddd - yea. I was right. Pho broth was salty. It had a good color to it, but straight salty and no pho flavor to it. It had a hint of fish sauce after taste to it. The chicken was good . The beef was good. The shrimp was coated in possibly flour because it had consistency to it. Add the lime, chili, hoisin, bean sprouts and jalapeño to save the broth Two stars for good service .. I mean - I called for pick up , but the lady was nice on the phone and when I went to pick up the food read more

Thought we'd try this place and wasn't impressed. First thing I noticed was the condiments on the table looked old and in need of cleaning. The spring rolls were very plain, missing sprouts. Tried the vermicelli salad and the marinaded pork tastes like fish. The woman who greeted us was welcoming and kind. Too bad the flavor of the two dishes I ordered were so bland. read more

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I'm a very picky eater especially when it comes to cleanliness. Everyday Vietnamese Cuisine was incredibly clean and their customer service was bangin! I walked in and the little old lady had already approached me before the door shut AND they were busy. It really is the little things!! Anyways, I didn't open the bag until I got home and, when I tell you the food presentation was on 10, I mean, it looked really neat and the taste... oh wow the flavors were melting on my tongue lmfao. It was deeeelish. Personally I'm not a pho kind of girl so I can't attest to 5 stars in that food topic, HOWEVER, the spring rolls and pork vermicelli was *chefs kiss* perfection. This was my first time ever going there and I will 100% be back. read more

I don't even know where to begin. This was by FAR the worst experience and food and service I have ever had . First off the waitress who was a tweeker who could not get our order correct. Then I heard her tell back we kept changing it . Wtf Not the case as we literally just talking about our options and making a decision. I should have known as she was wearing slides with no socks while working in the restaurant. Cussing by my kids . The food was horrible . I really wish I could say something positive but there was nothing positive , if that was not enough , they still could not get our order correct and was super rude . I paid 63 for absolute garbage and we left hungry and we all got the runs within 30 minutes . And I'm Pretty sure they over charged us . Please do not eat here . It's the worst service and food . Very disappointing and for the love of god , put on shoes when working in a restaurant. You are not on a beach but serving food which you did very poorly. Oh but the random plate of bean sprouts and lemon wedge was the highlight of our meal . I guess that was our appetizer. Uuuhhhhh the worst worst worst . I want to give it no stars , but the shit emoji as that was the consequences to eating here . read more

Their Pho is good and their Vietnamese coffee is my fav. Server is very friendly. The ambiance is very chill. I recommend this place.

I wasn't expecting much of this place to be honest. I live in the area like many college students and I drive by here probably five times a week or more. I was really craving pho today and my boyfriend and I decided to finally try it out! We ordered the Chicken Pho, Wonton Egg Noodle, and cream cheese wontons. Both soups were only $9.25 for great servings and the wontons were $5.95 for 6. We both really enjoyed our meal and the fresh bean sprouts and jalapeño that was on the side! We'll definitely be back for more and I really recommend it! read more

Their food is perfect, and their price points are great! I've been coming here for nearly 10 years and I've never been disappointed. I personally love their spring rolls, but I also love the banh mi. This was the worst Vietnamese food I have had. I got vegetarian spring rolls and vegetable vermicelli. The tofu in the spring rolls were rocks and dry with no flavor. Been going here for years! Amazing food! I love everything I've tried! My go to is the beef pho

The woman who answered the phone didn't even announce what business I was calling so I confirmed. She then continued to be rude with me on the phone informing me that they close at 5pm, granted I called at 4.30. When my husband went to pick the food up, no welcome, no smile again rude. I will not support any business with crappy service. Hope the woman has a better day after they close. read more

The customer service was on point . They greet you and sit you down as soon as you come by the door . The waitress was very attentive . She was extremely nice so that's a plus . I came in sick with a cough so I ordered the chicken breast wonton soup . I highly recommend it to anyone out there overcoming the flu virus going around . The soup was very hot ( like the sun not like chile peppers) which was a plus for me because it helped sooth the Streep throat I have . The soup was amazing and extremely huge . I loved the dumplings as well they were very rich , very moist with flavor . The chicken was seasoned and the soup was just over all f*cken amazing . It smelled good enough that I forgot to snap my picture of it to post on here lol . I also ordered the combination rice place , which has bbq chicken , beef , and shirmp . It was really good and the portions are huge . ( it's a plus especially if your on a budget ) . Overall I give it a 5 stars because of the great customer service , the amount of food you get for so little (4 dollar wonton soup is unheard of where I'm from) . I mean the place was just overall great . read more
